1 INSTALLATION
This is a wall-mounted device that is cooled by natural convection, so it needs to be installed in the position
shown in figure 1. It is important not to cover the ventilation slots, so that air can circulate freely.
The spillage and/or leakage of liquids into the device through the ventilation grilles must be prevented. Care must
also be taken not to introduce objects that could cause the system to malfunction through these grilles.

Figures 2a and 2b show the connection of the input voltage, output voltage, temperature sensor and alarms, and
Table 1 shows the cable required for the connections.

2 - LOCAL CONNECTION
To connect to the device locally, you must be close to the device in physical terms, and be able to access it. You
must be able to determine, in advance, whether or not your device (PC, laptop, etc.) has the appropriate network
configuration to make the connection you want to make and, if so, to be able to modify it in a convenient manner.
If this is not the case, please ask authorized personnel for assistance. In order to access the charger, you need
to know the IP address of the specific device. Each device that is connected to the same network (including the
PC or device through which you want to connect to the charger) must have its own IP address, which is different
from the other devices. Two circumstances may occur:
The procedure for connecting locally, without knowing the IP address of the charger, would be as follows:

Press and hold down the "Battery Reconnection"
push button for more than 10 seconds, until all
the LEDs start blinking.

Connect the PC to the Ethernet jack of the
charger. If the Ethernet jack is connected to
another component (router, switch, etc.), this
must be disconnected and the device must be
connected directly to the charger.

Verify the connection to the charger by pinging
your device to the local IP address (100.0.0.1
by default). If it is not connected to the charger,
check all the above steps again and then ask
authorized personnel for help.

Throughout the time that the local IP configuration is active, the device will indicate this with blinking LEDs.
Before leaving the charger, return the charger to the normal (remote) IP configuration. To do so, press the
"Battery reconnection" button for more than 10 seconds, until the LEDs stop blinking and light up as in normal
operation.
In any case, the maximum time that the device can be in the local IP configuration is 20 minutes; once this time
has elapsed after the change from remote to local, the device will automatically reset to the remote IP
configuration.

3.- REMOTE CONNECTION
Check whether or not your device (PC, laptop, etc.) has the appropriate network configuration to make the
connection and, if so, to be able to modify it in a convenient manner. If this is not the case, please ask authorized
personnel for assistance.
In order to access the charger, you need to know the IP address of the specific device. Each device that is
connected to the same network (including the PC or device through which you want to connect to the charger)
must have its own IP address, which is different from the other devices. You must know the IP address of the
charger you want to connect to. (The following example figures show examples with IP 100.0.0.100 and
100.0.0.123, but in your case, you need to enter the specific IP address of the charger you are connecting to. By
default, the charger is configured with a remote IP address 200.0.0.1).
You must also know whether or not the charger is available from your location, i.e. whether the communications
infrastructure allows you to access the charger. The procedure would be as follows:

connected to. You may need to set up specific links on your computer (PPP, VPN, etc.)

Verify the connection to the charger by pinging your device

charger, check all the above steps again and then ask
authorized personnel for help.

5.- BATTERY REPLACEMENT
During the normal life of the charger, it will test the battery periodically, in order to check its condition. At some
point in the life of the battery, this test will determine that the result has not been satisfactory, and therefore the
battery should be replaced.

The "Battery test failure" alarm is
generated, lighting up the red "Battery"
LED and activating the relay
corresponding to "Urgent Failure".

Batteries, even those that are going to be replaced, may contain sufficient energy to pose a danger to persons
and equipment.
AVOID ANY ACCIDENTAL CONTACT BETWEEN THE BATTERY TERMINALS AND ANY ELECTRICALLY
CONDUCTIVE COMPONENTS.

For your safety, and that of the equipment, PREMIUM recommends that this operation be carried out when the
device is completely shut down.
Therefore, proceed to turn off ALL services and uses that are connected to the charger, disconnect the battery
and remove the AC power supply to the device. The charger will turn off completely.
Replace the battery according to the manual.

Make sure you connect the battery
with the correct polarisation. Use
measuring equipment if required.

Proceed to start the system. Once the
start-up process has been completed,
all the alarms will have disappeared.
And the LEDs will indicate that the
device is charging the battery.

AVOID POSSIBLE DAMAGE, PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL AND IN THE
USER MANUAL VERY CAREFULLY.

If you are unable to switch the device off, follow the steps below or contact the appropriate technical personnel
who will guide you through the hot-swapping process.

Disconnect the battery in accordance with safety measures. Make sure that both the battery terminals and the
charger output do not come into contact with each other or with any part of the device.

Hold down the "Battery Reconnection"
button for more than 5 seconds and
less than 10 seconds. When the LEDs
are all lit up, release the button and
then the test will be forced.
Once the test is completed, the charger
will indicate that there is no battery
connected and will reset the alarms
related to the battery test failure.

Connect the battery, making sure
you connect the battery with the
correct polarisation. Use measuring
equipment if required.

no. 6 Once the battery is connected, the
device will detect it and, once the
process is finished, all the alarms will
have disappeared. And the LEDs will
indicate that the device is charging the
battery.

1 INSTALACIÓN
Se trata de un equipo de montaje mural que se refrigera con convección natural, por lo que es necesario instalarlo
en la posición que muestra la figura 1. Es importante no cubrir las ranuras de ventilación para que el aire pueda
circular libremente.
Se ha de evitar el vertido y/o derrame de líquidos al interior del equipo a través de las rejillas de ventilación.
Igualmente se ha de tener la precaución de no introducir objetos por dichas rejillas que pudieran causar el mal
funcionamiento del sistema.

En las figuras 2a y figuras 2b se observa el conexionado de la tensión de entrada, tensión de salida, sensor de
temperatura y alarmas y en la tabla 1 se indica el cable necesario para las conexiones.

2.- CONEXIÓN LOCAL
Para conectarse en local al equipo tiene que estar físicamente cercano al equipo y tener capacidad de acceso a
él. Como paso previo debe de ser capaz de determinar si su dispositivo (PC, portátil,…) tiene la configuración de
red adecuada para realizar la conexión que desea realizar, y en su caso, poder modificarla convenientemente. Si
no es así, por favor solicite ayuda al personal autorizado. Para poder acceder al cargador necesita saber la
dirección IP del equipo concreto. Cada dispositivo conectado a una misma red (incluido el PC o dispositivo a través
del cual desea conectarse al cargador) debe tener una dirección IP propia y diferente del resto de dispositivos.
Pueden darse dos circunstancias:
El procedimiento para conectarse localmente desconociendo la dirección IP del cargador sería el siguiente:

Mantener pulsado durante un tiempo superior a
10 segundos el pulsador “Reconexión Batería”,
hasta que todos los LED empiecen a parpadear.

Conectar el PC a la toma Ethernet del cargador.
En caso de que la toma Ethernet esté conectada a
otro elemento (router, Switch…), ésta debe
desconectarse y conectarse directamente el
dispositivo al cargador.

dirección IP: 100.0.0.2
máscara : 255.255.255.0

Verifique la conexión con el cargador por medio
del comando ping en su dispositivo, a la dirección
IP local (100.0.0.1 por defecto). En caso de no
tener conexión con el cargador, verifique de
nuevo todos los pasos anteriores y solicite ayuda
al personal autorizado.

Durante el tiempo que esté activa la configuración IP local, el equipo lo indicará con el parpadeo de los diodos
LED.
Antes de abandonar el cargador, vuelva a dejar el cargador en la configuración IP normal (remota). Para ello,
pulsar el pulsador “Reconexión Batería” durante más de 10 segundos, hasta que los leds dejen de parpadear y
se iluminen como en funcionamiento normal.
En cualquier caso, el tiempo máximo para estar en la configuración de IP local es de 20 minutos; una vez pasado
este tiempo desde el cambio, de remoto a local, el equipo se reseteará automáticamente a la configuración IP
remota.

3.- CONEXIÓN REMOTA
Compruebe si su dispositivo (PC, portátil,…) tiene la configuración de red adecuada para realizar la conexión, y
en su caso, poder modificarla convenientemente. Si no es así, por favor solicite ayuda al personal autorizado.
Para poder acceder al cargador necesita saber la dirección IP del equipo concreto. Cada dispositivo conectado a
una misma red (incluido el PC o dispositivo a través del cual desea conectarse al cargador) debe tener una
dirección IP propia y diferente del resto de dispositivos. Debe conocer la dirección IP del cargador al que quiere
conectarse. (En las figuras siguientes de ejemplo se muestran ejemplos con las IP 100.0.0.100 y 100.0.0.123,
pero en su caso debe poner la dirección IP concreta del cargador al que se conecta. Por defecto el cargador sale
configurado con una dirección IP remota 200.0.0.1).
Debe conocer igualmente si el cargador está disponible desde su ubicación, es decir, si la infraestructura de
comunicaciones le permite acceder a dicho cargador. El procedimiento sería el siguiente:

ser que necesite establecer enlaces específicos en su ordenador (PPP, VPN, etc….)

no tener conexión con el cargador, verifique de nuevo todos los
