Safety rules
WARNING! The warnings, precautions and instructions contained in this document do not cover
all possible and dangerous
situations. Use common sense when using the device.
1. Do not place the device in dusty or damp rooms to avoid internal short circuits. The device is not waterproof, do not allow
liquids to get on it.
2. Do not expose the device to any heat sources (e.g., electric heaters) or direct sunlight.
3. Do not block the ventilation holes of the PC.
4. Do not crimp or pinch the cables connected to the PC. Locate cables where there is no risk of unintended external
interference (if possible, in a protective cable duct).
5. To prevent damage to the device, wait at least 30 seconds after turning it off before turning it back on again.
6. To prevent damage to the device, turn off the PC before turning off the interactive panel. Disconnect the PC from the
panel only after both devices have been turned off.
7. If the product gets dirty, first detach it from the interactive panel, then wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth without
using any force. Do not use aggressive or abrasive detergents, or metal sponges for cleaning.
8. Turn off and unplug the device during lightning storms.
9. Use PC connectors only for their intended purpose.
10. Do not insert foreign objects into the device's connectors, and do not use force when connecting cables or flash drives to the
connectors.
11. To avoid damage, do not drop or bump the device.
12. When moving the device from a low temperature environment to a warm place, condensation may form inside. In this
case, do not turn the device on for at least 24 hours to allow the condensation to evaporate naturally.
13. If you notice smoke, noise or odor from the device, unplug it immediately and contact technical support.
14. If malfunctions occur, refer to "Troubleshooting" section. If you are unable to solve the problem according to the
instructions, contact technical support. The device may only be repaired by an authorized service centre (see prestigio-
solutions.com for centres' addresses). Do not repair the device yourself.
Preparing for operation
Before using the device, please read the information in the "Safety rules" section carefully.
1. Unpack the PC. Install it into the slot on the back of the interactive panel (.II.). Fix the PC with the fastening screws
(.I.‒13). Use a screwdriver (not supplied). Make sure that the screws are tightened securely.
NOTE. When connecting to interactive panels, the PC is only compatible with Multiboard Light (PMB000L654, PMB000L754,
PMB000L864) and Multiboard Light+ (PSMB068P650, PSMB068P750, PSMB068P860, PSMB068P980) interactive panel models.
2. Connect the cables to the connectors on the PC before turning on the power. The following connectors (.I.) are available for
connecting to external devices:
- USB Type A – for data transfer and playback from storage media, external computers, input devices, and for
powering/charging some external devices (up to 5 V, 3.0 A);
- USB Type C – for powering/charging external devices (up to 5 V, 3.0 A), as well as for displaying signals from devices that
support image transfer via Type C;
- HDMI – for high-definition (up to 3840×2160 pixels, 60 Hz) digital audio and video signal output to an external device (e.g.,
computer, external monitor);
- AUDIO OUT – for audio signal output to external speakers;
- MIC IN – for connecting an external microphone;
- LAN (RJ45) – for connecting the PC to network devices (e.g. modem).
NOTE. Cables are not supplied. Signal quality depends on cable characteristics, so use original certified cables.
The power supply for the PC is the interactive panel (Multiboard Light or Multiboard Light+) to which it is connected. Connect
the panel to the power supply. Press the power button (.I.‒1) to start the PC.
NOTE. The interactive panel is not included in the package.
