ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING
Serious injury and/or property damage can result if
this vehicle iys towed before familiarizing yourself
with the instructions in the owners manual and
cautions listed to the right.
You are required to comply with local and state
requirements regarding brakes, licensing and
any additional equipment that may be necessary.
Contact your state motor vehicle department for
more information.
• Coupler hitch and trailer ball are the same size
• Coupler is latched
• Safety chains are criss-crossed under tongue and
hitched to towing vehicle
• All trailer lighting is working correctly
• Loading is secured to trailer front and rear
• Tongue jack (if trailer is equipped) is retracted
• Tilt pin is latched
• Wheel lug bolts are properly tightened
• Tires are inated to pressure indicated on tire
• Trailer brakes (if trailer is so equipped) are properly
adjusted and break away device is attached to
towing vehicle
• Load is within trailer capacity and distributed
properly to maintain proper tongue weight
• Heavy end of load must go onto the trailer rst
• When approaching trailer, drive on slowly
• High speed loading can result in over shooting front
of trailer, and result in injury
• Wet surfaces may cause slick bed surface
• Use caution while loading on wet bed

SAFETY & PRECAUTIONS
Uncoupling will cause trailer to come loose from tow
vehicle. You must:
1. CHECK that ball LOAD HATING is same as or greater
than coupler LOAD RATING.
2. CHECK that ball SIZE is same as coupler.
3. CLOSE COUPLER CLAMP on ball.
4. LIFT coupler upwards to test that it will not separate
from ball.
5. LOCK coupler clamp with pin or padlock.

ALWAYS use safety chains.
Chains hold trailer if connection fails.
You must:
1. CROSS chains underneath coupler.
2. ALLOW slack for trailer to turn.
3. ATTACH chain hooks securely to tow
vehicle frame.

Trailer can roll if it comes loose.
Electric safety brake applies when cable pulls pin out of
switch box.
1. PULL hard to get pin out of switch box.
2. CHECK brake by PULLING TRAILER with tow vehicle.
3. ATTACH pin CABLE to tow vehicle so pin will be
pulled out if trailer separates.
4. Promptly REPLACE pin in switch box.

Lights can prevent trailer from being hit by other
vehicles. You must:
1. CONNECT trailer and tow vehicle electrical
connectors.
2. CHECK all ghts: tail lights, turn signal, and
brake lights.
3. DO NOT TOW if lights are not working.

Tire, wheel or lug nut failure can cause loss of control.
Before towing, you must CHECK:
1. Tire pressure and tread.
2. Tires and wheels for damage.
3. Lug nuts for tightness.
For new and remounted wheels, re-tighten lug nuts
at the rst 10, 25 and 50 miles of driving.

PREPARATION
STEP 1
1. Cut all zip es and banding.
2. Gather the hardware package, and
stainless-steel corner brackets.
3. Gather both driver and passenger side
fender.
4. Gather rear bifold tailgate.
5. Layout side walls on their correct side
(driver, passenger, and front).

STEP 1
Add drop bolts through all
support legs of each side wall.
STEP 3
One side at a me, add inside washers
and nylon nuts. Then hand ghten only.
STEP 2
With bolts scking through the
side wall, hang and aach side
walls to the main frame of the
trailer.
PRO TIP- Make sure to not force bolts
through the main frame. All electrical
wires run through the main frame
tubing and are subject to be pinched
or cut.

STEP 4
Aer all sides are aached and hand ghten
only, install stainless steel corner caps on pipe
top corners of the side kit rails.
STEP 5
Bolt on aluminum corner caps.

Go through and ghten all nuts and bolts.

Install tailgate.

STEP 8
Bolt both driver and passenger side fenders onto the main frame of trailer.
Once all 4 bolts are through, ghten.
STEP 9
Using shrink wrap bu connectors, aach loose wire
from fender to mainframe of trailer. Heat shrink.
Test all lights on trailer.

If, however, you encounter a breakdown somewhere on your journey, Primo also offers a
limited one-year warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship, and electrical.
We strive to handle every warranty claim as quickly and easily as possible. It’s part of our
commitment to giving our customers the treatment they deserve.
Primo Trailers warrants its trailers and trailer components purchased new by the original
owner to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use, from the date of
sale for the periods as stated:
• Five-year limited warranty on axle.
• Three-year conditional warranty on aluminum and aluminum welds
• One year on other components.
• Commercial applications will receive a one year warranty
This warranty excludes components and options which carry their own manufacturer's
warranty, wherein that warranty applies.
Primo and selling dealers will at its option, repair or replace components deemed defective by
Primo and selling dealer, at no charge for parts and labor. This warranty is void if the trailer is
used in other than normal application, or if the trailer is damaged due to incorrect assembly,
misuse, neglect, accident, overloading or improper selection of our product.
Brake laws vary from state to state and require dealerships to sell trailers that comply with
the laws of the state in which the trailer will be registered. Contact your State Motor Vehicle
Department.
