TheForward/Reversehandle(6)islocatedontherightsideoftheinstrumentpanel(Figure6).Thehandlehasthree
distinctpositions:FORWARD(A),NEUTRAL(B),andREVERSE(C).Pushthehandleuptooperatethevehicleinthe
forwarddirection,orpullthehandledowntooperatethevehicleinreverse.Theenginecanbestartedonlywhenthe
handleisintheNEUTRAL(middle)position.TheenginemustbeatidlebeforeshiftingtheForward/Reversehandle.
SeeprecedingWARNINGandCAUTION.
ClubCarvehiclesoperateatareducedspeedinreverse.Thereversebuzzerwillsoundasawarningwhenthe
Forward/ReversehandleisintheREVERSEposition.
ACCELERATORPEDAL
Theacceleratorpedal(1)isthepedalfarthesttotheright(Figure6).
WiththeenginerunningandtheForward/ReversehandleintheFORWARDorREVERSEposition,vehiclespeed
willincreaseastheacceleratorpedalispressed.Whentheacceleratorpedalisreleased,itwillreturntotheoriginal

BRAKEPEDAL
Thebrakepedal(2)islocatedtotheimmediateleftoftheacceleratorpedal(Figure6).T osloworstopthevehicle,
pressthebrakepedal.
PARKBRAKE
Theparkbrakepedal(3)islocatedtotheleftofthebrakepedal(Figure6).T oengagetheparkbrake,rstapply
pressuretothebrakepedal,thenrmlypresstheparkbrakepedaluntilitlatchesintoplace.Todisengagethepark

Thelowoilwarninglight(9)islocatedontheinstrumentpaneljusttotheleftofthesteeringcolumn(Figure6).Ifthe
warninglightcomeson,oilshouldbecheckedandaddedtotheengineasnecessarybeforevehicleusecontinues.
Thevehicleshouldneverbedrivenwhenthelowoilwarninglightremainslit.Ifthewarninglightgoesonandoff,the
vehiclemaybedriven,butoilshouldbeaddedattherstopportunity.Iftheoilleveliscorrectandthewarninglight
