IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Watch for these symbols:
The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulat-
ed “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure, that may be of sucient magnitude to constute a risk of electric shock
to persons.
The exclamaon point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operang and
maintenance (servicing) instrucons in the literature accompanying the appliance.

7. Do not block any venlaon openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instrucons.

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the oth-
er. A grounding-type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If
the provided plug does not t into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, parcularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit
from the apparatus.
11. Only use aachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
12. Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specied by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a
cart is used, use cauon when moving the cart/apparatus combinaon to avoid injury from p-over.
13. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of me.
14. Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power
supply adapter is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or
moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
15. Warning: to reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture.
16. Do not expose this equipment to dripping or splashing and ensure that no objects lled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on the
equipment.
17. To completely disconnect this apparatus from the ac mains, disconnect the power supply adapter from the ac receptacle.
18. The mains plug of the power supply cord shall remain readily operable.
19. This apparatus contains potenally lethal voltages. To prevent electric shock or hazard, do not remove the chassis, input module or ac
input covers. No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualied service personnel.
20. This owner’s manual should be considered as a part of the product, it must accompany it at all mes, and it needs to be delivered to the

new user when this product is sold. In this way the new owner will be aware of all the installaon, operang and safety instrucons.
21. This apparatus should only be connected to a power source of type specied in this owner’s manual or on the unit.
22. You can clean the exterior of the unit with compressed air or with a dry cloth.
23. Don’t clean the unit using solvents like trichloroethylene, thinners, alcohol, or other volale or ammable uids.
24. To reduce the risk, close supervision is necessary when the product is used near children.

tails of where and how they can take this item for environmentally safe recycling. Business users should contact their supplier and check the

CONDITIONS OF USE
Proel do not accept any liability for damage caused to third pares due to improper installaon, use of non-original spare parts, lack of
maintenance, tampering or improper use of this product, including disregard of ascertainable and applicable safety standards. Proel strongly
recommends that this apparatus must be installed taking into consideraon all current Naonal, Federal, State and Local regulaons. The
product must be installed by qualied personal. Please contact the manufacturer for further informaon.
PACKAGING, SHIPPING AND COMPLAINT
This unit package has been submied to ISTA 1A integrity tests. We suggest you control the unit condions immediately aer unpacking it.
If any damage is found, immediately advise the dealer. Keep all unit packaging parts to allow inspecon.
Proel is not responsible for any damage that occurs during shipment.
Products are sold “delivered ex warehouse” and shipment is at charge and risk of the buyer.
Possible damages to unit should be immediately noed to forwarder. Each complaint for manumied package should be done within eight
days from product receipt.
WARRANTY AND PRODUCTS RETURN
Proel products have operang warranty and comply their specicaons, as stated by manufacturer.
Proel warrants all materials, workmanship and proper operaon of this product for a period of two years from the original date of purchase.
If any defects are found in the materials or workmanship or if the product fails to funcon properly during the applicable warranty period,
the owner should inform about these defects the dealer or the distributor, providing receipt or invoice of date of purchase and defect
detailed descripon. This warranty does not extend to damage resulng from improper installaon, misuse, neglect or abuse. Proel S.p.A.
will verify damage on returned units, and when the unit has been properly used and warranty is sll valid, then the unit will be replaced or
repaired. Proel S.p.A. is not responsible for any "direct damage" or "indirect damage" caused by product defecveness.

1. Introducon
2. What's in the Box
STRWIFI is a high-end audio streaming receiver with network and Bluetooth connecvity. Applying
STRWIFI to a P.A. system will enable you to stream music from your smart device, USB, NAS or streaming
services, such as Spofy, Tidal or Qobuz in high resoluon by 4STREAM App, AirPlay, Bluetooth or other
third party compable apps. Mulple units can be combined to set up a wireless mulroom or mul-
zone whole audio system, for a new experience to play and enjoy music.

3. Main Features
• Streaming music via ETHERNET network (WIFI and WIRED) with no distance limitaon or thru
BLUETOOTH 5.0 up to 15 meters.

STATUS: this LED shows the device INPUT mode by means of its colour.
WHITE: WIFI & NETWORK mode
Flashing fast: device is boong
Flashing slow: waing for WiFi connecon (pairing mode)
Solid: WiFi is connected

RESET:
SHORT PRESS: switch INPUT mode
LONG PRESS: switch OFF or ON the unit
SHORT PRESS TWICE in BT mode: disconnect current connected BT device and enter pairing mode
SHORT PRESS TWICE in WIFI mode: disconnect current WIFI connecon and enter pairing mode
SHORT PRESS THREE TIMES: restore the factory sengs.
BLUETOOTH antenna: to connect the supplied BLUETOOTH antenna.
LINE IN: to connect an external audio source, such as TV, CD player and so on.
SUB OUT: to connect an external acve subwoofer.
OPTICAL IN: to connect an external digital source provided with opcal output.
LINE OUT: to provide an analogue audio signal to other devices.
COAX OUT: to provide a digital audio signal to other devices with coax digital input.
OPTICAL OUT: to provide a digital audio signal to other devices with opcal digital input.
LAN: to connect to a ETHERNET wired network thru a router.
USB: to connect a USB pen drive (1024 tracks maximum).
WIFI antenna: to connect the supplied WIFI antenna.
DC IN: to connect the 12V/1A AC/DC adapter supplied with the unit.

Download the 4 Stream applicaon from App Store for iOS based devices and from Google Play Store for Android based devices.
The applicaon supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Simplied Chinese, Tradional Chinese and
Japanese.

7.2 Connecon
7.2.1 First me use: WIFI Setup
1) Make sure your mobile phone or tablet is connected to your WIFI network using 2.4G
and your GPS and BLUETOOTH is on.
2) Download the 4Stream APP from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
3) Move the STRWIFI device in the WIFI range of the router. In places with many WIFI
networks we suggest to get close to the router of your network for the rst conguraon.
4) Plug in the power cable.
5) The LED light will start ashing quickly, if it is not a white LED, press the Mode buon
to change mode ll the LED will be white and ashing quickly.
6) Place your mobile phone at a distance of less than 15m (BLUETOOTH range) from the
STRWIFI device, then open 4STREAM APP.
Note: only for Android device, the system will ask for permission to use GPS data & File
storage, please click accept to connue. This GPS permission is setup by Google for BLE
usage, once setup is nish you can go to system sengs and disable it, le storage per-
mission is to let 4Stream access your mp3 les store in your mobile.
7) Press "Add Device" buon, wait ll the indicator of the STRWIFI is blinking slowly, then
press "indicator is blinking".
8) The 4STREAM APP will list out all the STRWIFI_XXXX devices available for setup, choose
one.
9) The 4STREAM APP will then ask you to choose the network you want the device to be
connected to: choose the one you want to connect.
10) Now type password for your network. Press "Next" buon.

11) Then you can change the name of the device. You can select a preset one or enter
your own.
12) Aer you dene the name of the device, you will see it appear in the device list in
4stream app and now you can start streaming music.
SOME TIPS:
* To carry out the WIFI inializaon procedure, the BLUETOOTH on the mobile device
must be acve.
* If you change the WIFI network, the procedure must be repeated.
* If the router or the password of the connected router has been changed, the procedure
must be repeated. Press RESET buon for 5 secs in WiFi mode to shut o, then press
RESET again to reset the connecon.
* If you have setup router connecon before, the device will auto connect to that router.
1) Plug in the power cable while pressing the RESET buon.
2) The LED light will start ashing, release the buon and wait ll the LED ashes slowly.
3) Go to your mobile WIFI sengs and search for STRWIFI_XXXX WiFi and connect.
4) Open 4STREAM APP and you should see the STRWIFI_XXXX list in the device list.
*Your mobile might ask if you want to stay using this WIFI connecon, click yes.
6) Click on the “+” icon on the top right corner to add device. The app will prompt you to
select the router SSID you want your device to connect to: enter password, if required,
and select connue.
7) Once connected, you can change the name of the device. You can select a preset one
or enter your own.
8) Aer you dene the name of the device, you will see it appears in the device list in
4STREAM app and now you can start streaming music.
There is another way to setup the STRWIFI
* Aenon for Android users: dierent brand mobile phones may ask you to allow to
use STRWIFI_XXXX WiFi network. Please choose yes, if not, you may not able to set up
successfully. It may also ask you to authorize other things, please choose yes or it may
aect your use.

7.2.2 First me usage, WIRED NETWORK Setup
1) Make sure your mobile phone or tablet is connected to your WIFI network using 2.4G.
2) Download the 4STREAM APP from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
3) Plug in the wired cable to the RJ45 Ethernet. Note: the mobile device and the STRWIFI must be in the same network.
4) Plug in the power cable.
5) The LED light will start ashing quickly, then it will ash slowly and nally will stay on.
6) Open 4STREAM APP.
7) You will see the device appear in the applicaon's device list: now you can start streaming music.
SOME TIPS:
* WIRED connecon and WIFI connecon can coexist but WIRED connecon has priority over WIFI, so if you want to congure both
connecons leave the cable unconnected and congure STRWIFI for WiFi connecon as specied in the previous paragraph, then
connect the WIRED network.
7.2.3 BLUETOOTH
To use BLUETOOTH connecon, please switch to Bluetooth via app or using the RESET buon, then nd the BLUETOOTH device STR-
WIFI_XXXX in your phone's bluetooth seng and pair it.

Rename: changes the device name.
Speaker info: displays device informaon like IP address, Mac address,
SSID, rmware version, factory reset, etc.
Alarm Clock: setups up to 4 dierent alarm clocks with music of your
choice.
Preset Content: 10 Preset content buons.
Sleep Timer: countdown to turn o the device.
EQ: Bass and Treble control.
7.3 4STREAM app features
7.3.1 Device sengs

7.3.2 To play local storage music
In the applicaon, choose "Browse" on boom, then scroll on "My library" "My
Music" and choose the songs you want to play from your Phone, Tablet or USB
Disk.
7.3.3 To play music from a NAS home server using DLNA
In the applicaon choose "Browse" on boom, then scroll on "My library" "My Music" "Home Music Share", then choose the server
available on your network, nally choose the songs you want to play. Please note that our system only support NAS with DLNA fea-
ture.
Some notes about the playlist:
• You can make playlists from the music contained in the library of your phone, tablet or DLNA servers.
• The Playlists are stored in the app for phone or tablet you currently use to make them.
• We suggest you to create your playlists with song from the same source, phone, tablet, DLNA server, because if the source device is
acve all the songs contained in this device will be in the playlist, while if a source device is not acve all the playlists that contain
songs from that device would be corrupted.

7.3.5 To use BLUETOOTH mode

Choose the BLUETOOTH mode in the applicaon or using RESET buon: the LED will change
to blue.
Open the BLUETOOTH menu in your mobile device and pair it to the STRWIFI (see 7.2.3).
Play audio from your mobile device.
Choose the Opcal mode in the applicaon or using RESET buon: the LED will change to
purple.
* Note: If the LED is ashing the opcal source is not present.
Play audio from your connected source.
Choose the USB mode on the applicaon: the LED will change to red.
Note: The play list is by folder and name in alphanumeric order.
Play audio from the connected USB pen-drive.
7.3.4 To use LINE IN mode
Connect the provided line cables to the TV or other audio sources.
Choose Line In mode in the applicaon or using RESET buon: the LED will change to green.
Play audio from the connected source.

To use the online streaming services iHeartRadio, Spofy, Tidal, Qobuz and Deezer you may need to register an account at the service
provider plaorm.
With "Manage Music Services" you can show or hide the services from the list.
7.4 Streaming Services

The STRWIFI supports AirPlay. From the iOS device you can choose the AirPlay "STRWIFI_XXXX" to listen your music.
7.4.2 AirPlay
To use Spofy directly you must own a Spofy premium account, you can also play via Airplay or Bluetooth.
You will nd the STRWIFI_XXXX in the device list on the Spofy applicaon and choose the device you want to play.
* Note: one Spofy account can only stream to one device at a me.
7.4.1 Spofy

Users can group mulple rooms and zones on the applicaon. For example, you can group devices 1, 2 and 3 to play the same music
in sync, or group device 1 as zone A and devices 2 and 3 as zone B, and play dierent music in zones A and B.
12 is the maximum number for rooms, while 8 zones are recommended.
