Replacing the front of the Agrónic
4000 to Agrónic 4500 for box model

BOX FORMAT ASSEMBLY
Disconnect power from the
Agrónic 4000.
1Remove the four screws. 2
Check whether the unit
has any telephone type cables
connected to the keyboard. If it
does, disconnect them from the
plate because they are unusable. If the Agrónic 4500 unit has
an analog I/O option, remove the
option by removing the three screws,
so that the front can be changed.

Li the keyboard.

If the Agrónic 4000 unit has a
GPRS modem option, remove the
modem, the antenna and also the
power cable that is connected to
the relay or analog I/O board. (The
Agrónic 4500 is supplied fitted with
its modem and integrated eSIM
card).

Separate the keyboard part of
the box by carefully pulling the flat
gray tape that joins the two plates,
then replace it with the new Agrónic
4500 front.
Close the unit and replace the
four screws removed in step 2.

If the unit has the analog
I/O board, install it again as it was
removed in step 6.
Care must be taken when
connecting the 28-pin socket of the
analog I/O board to the relay board
as a pin may break.
Important
Before powering the unit, connect
the antenna cable.
Also necessary for units that do not
use the modem.

If the unit has the GPRS
modem option, place and screw the
connector of the new antenna in the
same place. Otherwise, drill a hole in
the dimensions indicated below.
The antenna must be
installed at a high point in order to
have the best possible coverage
or close to a window. Do not leave
the antenna cable folded, stretch it
out completely.
