The appliancemust be connected toa230 volts50 cycleAC
supplybymeansof athree pinsocket andshouldbe
protectedbya13 ampfuseinthe plug.
The applianceissupplied witha13 amp3-pinplugfitted with
a13-ampfuse. Shouldthefuserequirereplacement, it must
be replaced withafuserated at 13 ampand approved to
BS1362.
If the mainsplug isunsuitableforthe socketoutletinyour
homeorisremoved foranyotherreason, thenthe cutoff plug
shouldbe disposed of safelytoprevent thehazardof electric
shock. Removethe fusefromthe oldplugbeforedisposal.
Thereisadangerof electricshock if thecut off plug is
inserted intoany13-ampsocket outlet.

TheHighEfficiencyAirAnionGeneratorcangenerateanion

8)Whenyouwanttostopthemachine, press the “Key”, theunit
goesinto “ ” mode.
RemoteControl
1) Themachinecanalsobeoperatedwiththeremotecontrol. Open
thebatteriescoveronthebackoftheremotecontrolandinstall
twotypeAAAbatteriesobserving thepolaritymarkingsinside
thebatterycompartment.
2) Thereare7keysontheremotecontroller, thefunctionsarethe
sameasthecorrespondingbuttonsonthecontrolpanelofthe
mainunit.
Whenusing remotecontrol,itshouldbeaimedatthereceiver
windowonthefrontoftheunitatthetopleft,themaximumdistance
is6meters.

Theunitcomeswithtwo “ice boxes”,foritsabilitytocooltheAir,it
canabsorbtheenergyofwaterlittlebylittle, keepingthe

temperatureofthewateraround80Clowerthanthatoftheambient
temperature, making thewindcooler.
OperationMethod
1)PuttheICEBOXESintotherefrigeratorandkeepthem
insidetilltheyarecompletelyfrozen.
2)PutthemintothewatertankfromtheAdding watercoveronthe
leftoftheunit. Andthenclosethedoor.Thetemperatureofthe
waterwill be80Clowerthanthatoftheambienttemperatureand
keepsfor4hours, cooling thewind.
3)UsingthetwoICEBOXESalternatelyallowscontinuouscooling.
Points forAttention
lWhenaddingwater, donotexceedthe MAXIMUM”level.
lChoosenormalwind whenenvironmentalhumidityis too
highascoolingfunctionisaccompaniedwithhumidifying.
lAfteraddingwater, donottilttheunitorcrashintoobjects
whenmovingtheunit,thiskeepswaterfromoverflowing
fromthewatertank.
lDonotputanyobjectsontheunit.
lDisconnectpowerand pull outtheplugbefore cleaning.
lCleanthecabinetoftheunitwithadampclothand mild
detergent. Donotuseaggressivedetergentsorsolventsto
cleanthecabinet.Donotpourwateronthecontrolpanel.
lIfthemachinehasfallendownwithwaterinit,theplug
shouldbepulledoutoftheoutletimmediately. Themachine
canbeswitchedonafter24 hours. Youmightdamagethe
machineifyoudonotfollowthisinstruction.
lDonotplace theAiroutletorAirinletoftheunitclosetoa
wallorcurtain, otherwiseaircanbeblockedwhichwill
effectperformance.
lYouwill hearsomeunevenwindnoiseafterusingforalong
periodoftime. Thisisbecausetheairfilterisdustyand
blockstheairflow. Cleanthefilters(see thesectionon
cleaningthefilters).
lWhennotusingtheappliance, pull theplugoutofthewall
outlet.
lTheappliance mustbetakentoaqualifiedservice agentfor
repair.
lIfthesupplycordisdamaged, itmustbereplacedbythe
manufacturer, itsservice agentorsimilarlyqualified
personsinordertoavoidanelectricalhazard.

Pulltheplug outofthewall outletthenholdthehandleoftheAir
Filter(3)andpullupwards,toremoveit.Thenpullthewaternet(2)
off theVelcrostrips.
CleaningtheFilters
YoumustCleanbothfiltersonceeveryoneortwomonths.Remove
theairfilterandpullthewaternetfromitsVelcromountandwashit
insoapywater.CleantheAirfilterwithavacuumandasoftbrush,
makesuretheblackPositiveionpadinthecentreoftheAirfilter
doesnotcomeintocontactwithwater.
RegeneratethePositiveionpadonce ayearbyleaving thefilterin
directsunlightfor4hours ormore.
WaterTank
Youmustcleanthewatertankonce everyoneortwomonths.
CleaningtheWaterTank
Disconnecttheplug fromtheoutlet,thenopenthewatercoverand
drainthewaterfromthewatertankbyun-screwingthedrainage
stopperatthebottomoftheunit, letthewaterdrainoff, thenclean
thesedimentsinthewatertankwithmilddetergent.
Screwdownthewaterstopper.
Cleaningthecabinet
Cleanthecabinetwithmildsoapandadampenedsoftcloth. Donotletany

Faitesattentionauxpointssuivants:
1)Lorsquevousajoutez del’eau,gardez un œilsurl’indicateurdu

heures).Sil’indicateurdelaminuterieest éteint,celasignifieque
lafonctionestdésactivée.
7)Pouractiverlafonctiond’oscillation,appuyez surlebouton
Oscillation.Sil’indicateurd’oscillationestallumé,lefluxd’air
sedéplace degauche àdroite.Déplacez l’ailettehorizontale
située àdroitedelasortied’airpouruneventilation àla
verticale, debasenhaut.
8)Pour éteindrel’appareil,appuyez surleboutonARRÊT.
