Batteryhandlingandusage
Remotecontrolbatteries:

yReplace the battery only with the same type. The batteries used in the remote control are two AAA 1.5V batteries
which are accessible and can be replaced.

1. Removethebatterycover.
2. Inserttwobatterieswiththe+and–marks
correctlyaligned.
3. Replacethebatterycover.
Topreventtheremotecontrolfrombeingmisplaced,putitintotheremotecontrolboxoftheappliance
whennotinuse.

2. Inserttheexhaustconnectorintotheairoutletlocatedatthereartheapplianceuntilaclickisheard.
3. Extendthehoseandscrewtheexhaustadaptertothehoseconnector.
•NOTE:Thehosemaybeextendedbutformaximumefficiencyusetheshortestlength.
•IMPORTANT:DONOTBENDTHEHOSE.

Installingexhausthoseintothewall
1. Placetheexhaustadapteragainstthewallandmarkit.
2. Cutaholeinthewall,usingtheappropriatetoolsandsafetyequipment.
3. Placetheexhaustadapteragainstthewallandmarkthelocationforthefourholes.
4. Drillfourholesinthewallandinsertexpansionplugsintheholes.
5. Fixtheexhaustadapteronthewallbyinsertingandtighteningfourscrews.

middlespeedand highspeed.
NOTE:
•When isshownontheremotedisplayincoolmode,thefanspeedissamewith highspeed.
•Iftheapplianceisindehumidification( )mode,youcannotselectthefanspeed.
Settingthetimer(remotecontrolonly)
ProgrammingthetimerforON–whentheapplianceisOFF.
Press.Thetimeronindicatorwillflash.
Repeatedlypressorholddown+/−tochangethetimeinhalfanhourincrementsupto10hours,and
thenin1hourincrementsupto24hours.
Presstoconfirmandthetimeronindicatorwillstopflashing.Thetimerstarts.
Whenthesettimehasbeenreached,theappliancewillturnonautomatically.
ProgrammingthetimerforOFF–whentheapplianceisoperating.
Press.Thetimeroffindicatorwillilluminate.

Thesleepfunctionadjuststhesettemperatureoftheappliancetothethermalneedsofthebodyfalling
asleep.
Presstooperatethesleepmode.Thesleepindicatorwillappearontheremotedisplay.
Thesettemperaturewillincrease1°Cafterhalfanhourandafurther1°C(2°F)after1hour.
NOTE:Thisfunctionisunavailableinfanonlyanddehumidificationmodes.
Tocancelthefunction,press.Thesleepindicatorwilldisappearontheremotedisplay.
Regulatingairflowdirection
Movethehorizontallouversdirectlyto
adjusttheairflow.
Lock(remotecontrolonly)
Press+and–atthesametimetolockcurrentsettingsandpreventaccidentalchanges.Oncelocked,
remotewillnotrespondtoanyactions.Thelockindicatorwillappearontheremotedisplay.
Press+and–atthesametimeagaintounlock.Thelockindicatorwilldisappearontheremotedisplay.
Changingthetemperaturedisplay(remotecontrolonly)
Inthestandbystate,press–andMODEatthesametimetochangethetemperaturedisplayfromCelsius
toFahrenheitandviceversa.
DRAINAGE
Underhighhumidityconditionsitmaybenecessarytoemptytheinternalwatertank.Whentheinternal
watertankisfullthedisplaywillshow“H8”andtheindicator willflash.
Thecooling/dehumidificationprocesswillstop.
Beforetheapplianceisturnedon,youcaninserttherubberplugtothebottomdrainagepointorattach
thesupplieddrainhosetothedrainagepoint.

Toattachthesupplieddrainhosetothedrainagepoint:
1. Removetherubberplugfromthebottomdrainagepoint.
2. Fixthebracketonthelowerairinletgrillewiththesuppliedscrew.
3. Screwoneendofthedrainhoseoverthedrainagepointandthenclipitwiththehoseclamp.
4. Fixthedrainhoseinthebracket.Clipitwiththehoseclampandattachtherubberplugtotheotherend
ofthedrainhose.
Toemptythewatertankdothefollowing:
1. Switchofftheapplianceandremovetheplugfromthemainssocket.
2. Placeawatertrayonthefloorunderneaththebottomdrainagepoint.
3. Removetherubberplugfromthedrainandletthewaterrunout.

•Ifadrainhoseisused,dothefollowing:
1) Removethedrainhosefromthebracket.
2) Removetherubberplugfromoneendofthehose.
3) Putthedrainhoseontothewatertray.
4. Replacetherubberplugordrainhose,plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket,andswitchthe
applianceon.
•“H8”willdisappearonthedisplay.
CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
Switchoffandunplugtheappliancefromthemainssocketbeforecleaning.
Tomaximisetheefficiencyoftheappliancecleanitregularly.
Cleaningthehousing
Cleanthehousingwithaslightlydampcloth.
Neverusechemicalorabrasivecleaningagents.
Cleaningthefilters
•Removethefilter.
•Thefiltersshouldbecleanedregularly.Useavacuumcleaner
ortapthefilterslightlytoremoveloosedustanddirtfromthe
filtersandthenrinsethoroughlyunderrunningwater.Dry
thoroughlybeforereplacing.
