Thisapplianceisintendedfordomestichouseholduseonlyand
shouldnotbeusedforanyotherpurposeorinanyother
application,suchasfornon‐domesticuseorinacommercial
environment.

Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsand
aboveandpersonswithreducedphysical,sensoryormental
capabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhave
beengivensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseofthe
applianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.

Childrenshallnotplaywiththeappliance.Cleaninganduser

Batteryhandlingandusage
Remotecontrolbatteries:
yThebatteriesshouldonlybereplacedbyadults.Donotallowchildrentousetheremotecontrolunless
thebatterycoverisattached.
yFailuretoproperlyalignthebatterypolaritycorrectlycancausedamagetotheremotecontrolandcan
causeafirehazed.
yReplace the battery only with the same type. The batteries used in the remote control are two AAA 1.5V batteries
which are accessible and can be replaced. 

Installingthebatteriesintheremotecontrol
1. Removethebatterycover.
2. Inserttwobatterieswiththe+and–marks
correctlyaligned.
3. Replacethebatterycover.


Topreventtheremotecontrolfrombeingmisplaced,putitintotheremotecontrolboxoftheappliance
whennotinuse.

Exhausthoseinstallation

ForFANandDEHUMIFICATIONmodesRemovetheexhausthoseandadapters

1. Screwtheexhaustandhoseandconnectorsintobothendsoftheexhausthose.

2. Inserttheexhaustconnectorintotheairoutletlocatedatthereartheapplianceuntilaclickisheard.

3. Extendthehoseandscrewtheexhaustadaptertothehoseconnector.
•NOTE:Thehosemaybeextendedbutformaximumefficiencyusetheshortestlength.
•IMPORTANT:DONOTBENDTHEHOSE.
•

Installingexhausthoseintothewall

1. Placetheexhaustadapteragainstthewallandmarkit.
2. Cutaholeinthewall,usingtheappropriatetoolsandsafetyequipment.
3. Placetheexhaustadapteragainstthewallandmarkthelocationforthefourholes.
4. Drillfourholesinthewallandinsertexpansionplugsintheholes.
5. Fixtheexhaustadapteronthewallbyinsertingandtighteningfourscrews.

Plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket.Theappliancewillenterthestandbystate.

TurningON
Presstoturntheapplianceon.Pressagaintoenterthestandbystate.

Modeswitch
RepeatedlypressMODE toselectthedesiredworkingmode:auto,cooling,dehumidificationorfanonly.
NOTE:TheAUTOmodecanonlybeselectedusingtheremotecontrol.

Theindicatorofyourselectedmodewillilluminateorappear.


Repeatedlypress+/−tosetthetemperature.
Thedisplaywillshowthetemperatureyousetincool()mode.
Adjustabletemperaturerange:
30°Cmax.

Settingthefanspeed(remotecontrolonly)
Repeatedlypresstoselectthefanspeed.
Thecorrespondingspeedindicatorwillbeshownontheremotedisplaytoindicatewhichspeedsettingisin
use.
InAUTO,cool( )andfanonly( )modes,youcanselectfromAUTOspeed,  lowspeed, 
middlespeedand  highspeed.

NOTE:
•When  isshownontheremotedisplayincoolmode,thefanspeedissamewith  highspeed.
•Iftheapplianceisindehumidification( )mode,youcannotselectthefanspeed.


Settingthetimer(remotecontrolonly)

ProgrammingthetimerforON–whentheapplianceisOFF.
Press.Thetimeronindicatorwillflash. 

Repeatedlypressorholddown+/−tochangethetimeinhalfanhourincrementsupto10hours,and
thenin1hourincrementsupto24hours.
Presstoconfirmandthetimeronindicatorwillstopflashing.Thetimerstarts.
Whenthesettimehasbeenreached,theappliancewillturnonautomatically.


ProgrammingthetimerforOFF–whentheapplianceisoperating.
Press.Thetimeroffindicatorwillilluminate. 

Repeatedlypressorholddown+/−tochangethetimeinhalfanhourincrementsupto24hours.
Press  toconfirmandthetimeroffindicatorwillstopflashing.Thetimerstarts.
Whenthesettimehasbeenreached,theappliancewillturnoffautomatically.


Tocancelthetimersetting
Pressuntilthetimeon/offindicatordisappearsontheremotedisplay.



Sleepoperation
Thesleepfunctionadjuststhesettemperatureoftheappliancetothethermalneedsofthebodyfalling
asleep.
Presstooperatethesleepmode.Thesleepindicatorwillappearontheremotedisplay.



Thesettemperaturewillincrease1°Cafterhalfanhourandafurther1°C(2°F)after1hour.
NOTE:Thisfunctionisunavailableinfanonlyanddehumidificationmodes.

Tocancelthefunction,press.Thesleepindicatorwilldisappearontheremotedisplay.


Regulatingairflowdirection
Movethehorizontallouversdirectlyto
adjusttheairflow.




Lock(remotecontrolonly)
Press+and–atthesametimetolockcurrentsettingsandpreventaccidentalchanges.Oncelocked,
remotewillnotrespondtoanyactions.Thelockindicatorwillappearontheremotedisplay.

Press+and–atthesametimeagaintounlock.Thelockindicatorwilldisappearontheremotedisplay.
Changingthetemperaturedisplay(remotecontrolonly)
Inthestandbystate,press–andMODEatthesametimetochangethetemperaturedisplayfromCelsius
toFahrenheitandviceversa.


DRAINAGE
Underhighhumidityconditionsitmaybenecessarytoemptytheinternalwatertank.Whentheinternal
watertankisfullthedisplaywillshow“H8”andtheindicator  willflash.
Thecooling/dehumidificationprocesswillstop.
Beforetheapplianceisturnedon,youcaninserttherubberplugtothebottomdrainagepointorattach
thesupplieddrainhosetothedrainagepoint.

Toattachthesupplieddrainhosetothedrainagepoint:

1. Removetherubberplugfromthebottomdrainagepoint.

2. Fixthebracketonthelowerairinletgrillewiththesuppliedscrew.
3. Screwoneendofthedrainhoseoverthedrainagepointandthenclipitwiththehoseclamp.
4. Fixthedrainhoseinthebracket.Clipitwiththehoseclampandattachtherubberplugtotheotherend
ofthedrainhose.
Toemptythewatertankdothefollowing:
1. Switchofftheapplianceandremovetheplugfromthemainssocket.
2. Placeawatertrayonthefloorunderneaththebottomdrainagepoint.
3. Removetherubberplugfromthedrainandletthewaterrunout.

•Ifadrainhoseisused,dothefollowing:
1) Removethedrainhosefromthebracket.
2) Removetherubberplugfromoneendofthehose.
3) Putthedrainhoseontothewatertray.

4. Replacetherubberplugordrainhose,plugtheapplianceintothemainssocket,andswitchthe
applianceon.
•“H8”willdisappearonthedisplay.

CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
Switchoffandunplugtheappliancefromthemainssocketbeforecleaning.
Tomaximisetheefficiencyoftheappliancecleanitregularly.

Cleaningthehousing
Cleanthehousingwithaslightlydampcloth.
Neverusechemicalorabrasivecleaningagents.


Cleaningthefilters
•Removethefilter.


•Thefiltersshouldbecleanedregularly.Useavacuumcleaner
ortapthefilterslightlytoremoveloosedustanddirtfromthe
filtersandthenrinsethoroughlyunderrunningwater.Dry
thoroughlybeforereplacing.

NOTE:Neverusetheairconditionerwithoutthefilter.

•Drainanywaterintheappliancebeforecompletely
operatingtheapplianceonfanonlymodeforafewhours,
tothoroughlydrytheinside.
•Cleanthefilter.

appliance.



