IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Mains supply
This equipment is designed to operate from a 230 Volt, 50Hz AC mains supply. Other power sources may
damage it. Check that the rating label of the equipment states 230V AC before you plug it in for the first
time.
Mains plug
We have fitted this equipment with a standard mains plug.
If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
If you cut off the mains plug, for example to fit a different type, please destroy the old plug as it would
be dangerous if inserted into a live power outlet. Carefully follow the wiring instructions supplied with
the new plug.
If a fuse is fitted to the plug, remove the fuse before throwing the plug away.
Never use a fused mains plug without the fuse cover.
Mains plug wiring for the UK
In a moulded plug the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus must be connected as follows.
The wire-coloured brown must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter L.
The wire-coloured blue must be connected to the terminal that is marked with the letter N.
Do not connect anything to the earth terminal which is marked E, or .
You must make sure the mains lead is a firmly secured under the cord clamp.
Mains fuse
UK standard (BS1363) plugs must have a 3 amp (BS1362 type) fuse fitted. Replace the plug or have the
power lead assembly replaced if the fuse cover is lost.

battery compartment is located on the bottom of the unit.
To protect the environment please use local recycling facilities for battery disposal.
To prevent the risk of electrolyte leakage or explosions, never recharge non-rechargeable battery.
The battery type used in this product are 2 X 1.5v AA batteries in the unit and 1 X CR2025 Li in the remote.
These batteries are readily accessible. Remove the battery tray in the bottom edge of the remote to
remove the battery.
Remove the battery cover located on the bottom of the unit to remove the batteries.
The battery must be disposed of at your local recycling point.
WARNING:
The mains plug shall be the main disconnect device and shall remain operable at all times.
To save power: switch off mains power or pull out the mains power plug when you are not using the
equipment.
Never let anyone push objects into holes and ventilation slots.
This product is intended for domestic use only, commercial or any other use may invalidate the warranty
and might be dangerous.
Do not expose this product to dripping or splashing or place any objects filled with liquids on or near the
product.
Do not place a naked flame source such as lighted candles on or near this product.

Battery handling and usage
BATTERY WARNING: Only adults should handle the battery. Do not allow a child to use this product
unless the Battery Compartment Cover is securely attached to the Battery Compartment in accordance
with all product usage instructions.
Follow the battery manufacturer's safety and usage instructions.
Keep the battery away from children and pets.
Do not mix a new and a used battery or mix batteries of different types or sizes.
Connect the battery to the battery snap clip making sure the battery’s terminals snap on securely. The

iPod Docking Station Connect your iPod, Pod mini, or iPod nano.
VOLUME Press the up arrow to increase the volume, and the down arrow to decrease volume.
POWER Press the POWER button to turn the radio off or on.

SEARCH/TUNE Press the SEARCH/TUNE down or up buttons to decrease/increase the radio
frequency, or to decrease/increase the clock time.
iPod Press the iPod button to power on an iPod and enable control through the player.
PLAY/PAUSE/P+ Press the PLAY/PAUSE/P+ button to play or pause an iPod, or to cycle up through
the preset radio stations.
DISPLAY In radio mode press the display button to watch between viewing the time or the radio
frequency.
ALARM SET 2 Use theALARM SET 2 button to view and adjust the alarm-2 time, and to set alarm-2
to buzzer, radio, or iPod.
ALARM SET 1 Use theALARM SET 1 button to view and adjust the alarm-1 time, and to set alarm-1
to buzzer, radio, or iPod.
MEM/CLK SET Press the MEM/CLK SET button to program a radio station into the presets, or to
adjust the clock.
SNOOZE Press the SNOOZE button to delay the alarm for five minutes after the alarm sounds. Press
the SNOOZE button to set the player to turn off after 10-90 minutes (SLEEPfunction).
LCD View the Time,AM indicator, iPod Indicator, and radio frequency through this Liquid Crystal
Display.
AUX-OUT Use theAux-Out jack to connect the player to external speakers.
AUX-IN Use theAux-in jack to connect an iPod shuffle or other audio device to the player.
DIMMER Toggle the DIMMER switch between HI and LO to adjust the brightness of the LCD Display.

Installing a Battery in the Remote
To install or replace the battery:
1Pull the battery tray out of the remote.
2If you are replacing the battery, remove the old battery and
dispose of it properly. Note the orientation of the + and - sides of
the battery.
3Insert the new battery into the battery tray, the same way the old
battery was placed.
4Close the battery tray.
Warning
There is danger of an explosion if you replace the battery
incorrectly. Replace only with the same or equivalent battery.

Setting the Clock
a. With the power off, hold the CLOCK SETbutton.
b. Press the SEARCH/TUNE down or up buttons to toggle between 12HR and 24HR
time, and press the MEM/CLK SET button to select either option.
c. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up button to cycle up through the hours, or press the
SEARCH/TUNE down button to cycle down through the hours. Press the MEM/
CLK SET button to select the hour.
d. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up button to cycle up through the minutes, or press the
SEARCH/TUNE down button to cycle down through the minutes. Press the MEM/
CLK SET button to select the minute, and finish setting the time.
Setting theAlarm
a. Press theALARM SET 1 button.
b. Press and hold heALARM SET 1 button.
c. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up button to cycle up through the hours, or press the
SEARCH/TUNE down button to cycle down through the hours. Press theALARM
SET 1 button to select the hour.
d. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up button to cycle up through the minutes, or press the
SEARCH/TUNE down button to cycle down through the minutes. Press theALARM
SET 1 button to select the minute.
e. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up button to cycle up through the different alarm modes
(Radio, Buzzer, or iPod).After a mode is selected press theALARM SET 1 button
to finish setting the alarm.

Connecting Other DigitalAudio Devices
a. Use a line-in cord to connect an iPod shuffle or other audio device to theAUX-IN
port.
b. Press the FUNCTION button to activate theAUX-IN.
c. The iPod shuffle or other audio device will now play through the speakers of the
unit.
How to Using Radio
a. Power on the unit, press the FUNCTION button to radio mode.
b. Using the BAND button to switch betweenAM / FM Band.
c. Automatic Tuning - Press and hold the SEARCH/TUNE up or down buttons until
the display begins to move, then release the buttons. The tuner will scan up or down
the band until it finds the first strong station, and then stop on that station. Repeat this
process until the tuner stops on your desired station.
d. Manual Tuning - Press and release the SEARCH/TUNE up or down buttons repeatedly
until the display is showing the frequency of your desired station. Use the manual
tuning method to tune to weaker stations that are bypassed duringAutomatic Tuning.
Antennas AM - If reception is weak, turn the unit to improve reception. FM - If
reception is weak, adjust FM WireAntenna length and the angle to improve reception.
Programming radio station presets
You can program as many as 10 FM and 10AM radio station presets.
a. During RADIO mode, press BAND button to selectAM/FM band.
b. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up or down buttons to desire station you want store.
c. Press and hold the MEM/CLK SET button to activate the programming mode.
d. Press the SEARCH/TUNE up or down buttons to select the preset number you want
to store.
e. Press and hold the MEM/CLK SET button to store the station.
f. Repeat Steps “b” through “e” to program additional presets.
To recall the radio station preset
Press the M-DN(REAPEAT) or M-UP (PLAY/PAUSE/P+) Button repeatedly until the
preset number you want appears on the display and the preset station will be sound.

L'utilisation de et fait face aux batteries
AVERTISSEMENT: uniquement les adultes peuvent utiliser les batteries. Si un enfant
ne laisse pas utiliser cet appareil à moins que le couvercle du compartiment de batterie
ait été placé fermement sur le compartiment de batterie lui-même, conformément avec

l'enfoncer sur le bouton d'ALBUM pour diminuer le nombre d'album.
Pression d'iPod le bouton d'iPOD pour mettre un iPod et pour permettre sous tension la commande par
le joueur.
Pression CESSER/BANDE le bouton d'ARRÊT/BANDE d'arrêter une chanson sur un iPod ou
d'appuyer sur l'iPod/bouton de bande, avec la fonction par radio dessus, pour commuter entre des
fréquences d'AM et de FM.
Les commandes de navigation/CHOISISSENT l'utilisation que la navigation commande pour se
déplacer par un système de menu d'iPod. Appuyer sur le bouton CHOISI pour choisir une chanson, une
photo, ou une vidéo sur notre iPod.

Installation d'une batterie dans l'extérieur
Pour installer ou remplacer la batterie :
1traction le plateau de batterie hors de l'extérieur.
2si vous remplacez la batterie, enlevez la vieille batterie et vous
débarassez de elle correctement. Noter l'orientation du + et -
des côtés de la batterie. L'insertion
3la nouvelle batterie dans le plateau de batterie, l'orientant la
même manière la vieille batterie a été placée.
4Fin le plateau de batterie.
Avertissement
Il y a danger d'une explosion si vous remplacez la batterie inexactement.

Régler l'horloge
a. Avec la mise hors tension, tenir le bouton RÉGLÉ d'HORLOGE.
b. Appuyer sur la RECHERCHE/AIR vers le bas ou les boutons hauts au cabillot
entre le moment 12HR et 24HR, et appuyer sur le bouton RÉGLÉ de MEM/CLK
pour choisir l'une ou l'autre option.

e. Appuyer sur le bouton de RECHERCHE/mise au point pour initialiser par les
différents modes d'alarme (radio, vibreur, ou iPod). Après qu'un mode soit pression
choisie l'ALARME A PLACÉ 1 bouton pour finir placer l'alarme.

Relier d'autres dispositifs audio de Digital
a. Employer a ligne-dans la corde pour relier un battage d'iPod ou tout autre dispositif
audio au port d'AUXINE.
b. Appuyer sur le bouton de FONCTION pour activer l'AUXINE.
c. Le battage d'iPod ou tout autre dispositif audio jouera maintenant par les hautparleurs
de l'unité.
Comment à employer la radio
a. La puissance sur l'unité, appuient sur le bouton de FONCTION pour transmettre par
radio le mode.
b. En utilisant la BANDE boutonner pour commuter entre la station par radio d'AM/FM.
c. Accord automatique - serrer et tenir la RECHERCHE/mise au point ou vers le bas
les boutons jusqu'à ce que l'affichage commence à se déplacer, libèrent alors les
boutons. Le tuner balayera vers le haut ou avalera la bande jusqu'à ce qu'il trouve la
première station forte, et s'arrêtent alors sur cette station. Répéter ce processus
jusqu'à ce que le tuner s'arrête sur votre station désirée.
d. Accord de manuel - serrer et libérer la mise au point de RECHERCHE ou se
boutonne vers le bas à plusieurs reprises jusqu'à ce que l'affichage montre la fréquence
de votre station désirée. Employer la méthode de accord manuelle pour accorder à des
stations plus faibles qui sont déviées pendant l'accord automatique.
Antennes AM - Si la réception est faible, tourner l'unité pour améliorer la réception.
FM - Si la réception est faible, ajuster la longueur d'antenne de fil de FM et l'angle pour
améliorer la réception.
Préréglages par radio de programmation de station
Vous pouvez programmer l'autant de comme 10 FM et 10 préréglages par radio de station
d'AM
a. Pendant le mode PAR RADIO, appuyer sur le bouton de BANDE pour choisir la bande
d'AM/FM.
b. Serrer la mise au point de RECHERCHE ou se boutonne vers le bas pour désirer la
station que vous voulez le magasin.
c. Appuyer sur et tenir le bouton RÉGLÉ de MEM/CLK pour activer le mode de
programmation.
d. Serrer la mise au point de RECHERCHE ou se boutonne vers le bas pour choisir pour
prérégler le nombre que vous voulez stocker.
e. Appuyer sur et tenir le bouton RÉGLÉ de MEM/CLK pour stocker la station.
f. Répéter les étapes « b » par « e » pour programmer des préréglages additionnels.
Pour rappeler la station par radio prérégler
Serrer le M-DN (REAPEAT) ou le bouton de M-UP (JEU/PAUSE/P+) à plusieurs reprises
jusqu'à ce que prérégler le nombre vous veulent apparaît sur l'affichage et prérégler la
station sera bruit.
