Setup / Basic Operaon
Setup
1. Remove any packaging materials from the unit.
2. Connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet.
Note: To prevent interference, avoid bundling audio signal
cables together with the AC power cord.
Basic Operaon
1. Push the POWER buon to turn the unit on.
2. Select the source by pressing the corresponding mode buon (RADIO / CD / iPAD).
3. Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust to
the desired sound level.
Note: The unit will keep both the last selected funcon
and FM memories even if the unit is unplugged. Aer use,
unplug the unit especially when it is not in use for extended period of me.
Listening through Earphones/Headphones (not included)
For private listening, first reduce the volume level to minimum.
Insert your headphones’ plug into the 3.5mm jack, then
adjust the volume up by turning the VOLUME knob.
Note: The speakers will automacally be deacvated while headphones are plugged in.
Warning: Listening to uncomfortable sound levels for prolonged periods could adversely affect your hearing.

CONDENSATION WARNING:
When the unit is moved from a cold or warm place, or is used following a sudden temperature change, there is the
danger that water vapor in the air may condense on the unit, prevenng proper operaon. In such cases, leave the unit
for 1-2 hours aer plugging it into an AC outlet to allow it to stabilize at the temperature of its surroundings.
Listening to iPad/iPhone/iPod
1. Press the “iPAD” selector buon.
2. Gently li the top tray. Adjust the joint so that
the stand is firmly posioned upright.
Note: Be careful not to pinch your finger when
opening/closing the top tray.
3. Insert aniPad/iPhone/iPod device (not included) onto the
Dock Connector at the boom of the top cover.
Note: Remove the dock cover before you dock your device.
4. Music will play automacally.
5. To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE buon.
Press again to resume.
6. To skip to the next or previous track, press the TUN+/ or
TUN-/ buon once or twice.
7. To search for a poron of a track, press and hold either the TUN+/ or TUN-/ buon. Whena desired
poron is reached, release the buon and the track will resume normal playback.
8. To stop playback, press the STOP/MEMORY buon. Music will stop and go back to the menu.
9. Charging your device: The charging current is 5V 2.1A.The connected device will be charged on CD and iPad modes.
10. Aer use disconnect your device.
11. Push the joint first to release the lock and retract the top tray.
Listening to a CD
1. Press the “CD” selector buon.
“-- --” will blink for a few seconds.
2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE ( ) buon.
3. Place a disc onthe tray with the printed label face up.
4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE buon( ) to close the tray.
5. CD will be playing automacally. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE buon ( ).
6. To temporarily pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE buon( ).Press again to resume.
7. To skip tracks forward or backward, press the corresponding skip buon (TUN-/ or TUN+/ ).Pressing the
TUN-/ buon once will restart the current track. Pressing the TUN-/ buon twice insuccessionwill
return to the beginning of the previous track.
8. To fast forward / rewind withina track, press and hold down the corresponding skip buonunl the desired
posion is reached. The track will be tracking at high speed.Whenyou release the buonthe track will be played
at normal speed.
9. To stop playback, press the STOP/MEMORY buon
Important:
- Never place more than one disc on the tray.
- The disc must be placed in the center of the disc tray. An incorrectly loaded disc can permanently damage the tray
door mechanism.
- Do not push the CD tray – always use the OPEN/CLOSE buon.
- It takes a moment for the unit to load a disc, during which all buons will be temporarily deacvated.
REPEAT/RANDOM PLAYBACK
Each me the M+/MODE buonis pressed, the repeat mode will cycle through the following opons:
REPEAT 1(Repeat one track)
The current track will be played repeatedly.If you press the (TUN-/ or TUN+/ ) buonto select another
track, the track you select will be played repeatedly.
REPEAT ALL (Repeat the enre CD)
The enre CD will be played repeatedly.
RANDOM PLAY
Tracks on a CD will be played ina random sequence.

Notes:
- Press STOP/MEMORY buon twice, or press one of the following buons, and repeat mode will be cancelled:
OPEN/CLOSE, POWER, RADIO or iPAD.
- Random/Repeat playback works with finalized discs only.
- Pressing the TUN+/ buon during random, playback will randomly select the next track.
- When the RANDOM playback of all the tracks has been finished, or the STOP/MEMORY buon is pressed, the unit
stops and random mode is cancelled.
- A track cannot be repeated during random playback.
- Random playback does not work during programmed playback.
PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK
Up to 20 tracks canbe programmed to play inthe desired order.
Notes:
- Random playback does not work during programmed playback.
- Programmed playback works with finalized discs only.
1. Press “CD” toenter CD mode, then load a CD.
2. While the CD is stopped, press the M-/PROGRAM buon.
3. Indicator “PROG” and “1:” appear on the display and “- -“ will start to flash.
4. Press (TUN-/ or TUN+/ ) to select a track number.
5. Press the M-/PROGRAM buonagainto set the current track.
“2:” is displayed and “- -“ flashes. Repeat steps 4 thru 5 to program the addional tracks.
6. When the selecon of track numbers has beenfinished, press the PLAY/PAUSE buon ( ) to start program
playback.
7. Tostop playback, press the STOP/MEMORY buon.
8. Tocancel program mode, press the STOP/MEMORY buon when the CD stops.
Tocheck the programmed order:
In stop mode, press the M-/PROG buon repeatedly to show the track numbers that have been programmed.
Toconnue programming tracks:
In stop mode, press the M-/PROGRAM buon.
Press the M-/PROG buon repeatedly to select a programmed track number that you want to change, thenpress the
TUN-/ or TUN+/ buon to select a desired track.
Press the M-/PROG buon and the current track will be stored to the program.
Toclear the programmed order:
Press STOP whenthe CD is already stopped, or press OPEN/CLOSE, POWER, RADIO, iPAD.
Listening to the Radio (FM)
1. Press the “RADIO” buon.
2. Tune to the desired staon using the RadioTuner Knob.
Note: In FM Mode the STEREO indicator ( ) appears when a staon is correctly tuned in.
Adjusng for Best Recepon:
FM broadcast: Extend and reposionthe FM antenna.
Toprogram a staon:
1. When a staon is tuned in, press the STOP/MEMORY buon.
2. “P” appears and “01” flashes on the display.
3. Press the M+/MODE or M-/PROGRAM buonto select a preset number.
4. Press the STOP/MEMORY buon again. The staon has beenstored on the selected preset number.
5. You canstore up to 30 staons.
Tolisten to a preset staon:
Press the M+/MODE or M-/PROGRAM buon.
Note: Your docked device (iPad / iPhone / iPod) will not be charged in FM working mode.

Compact Disc Handling
•Always place the disc on the disc tray with the label side facing upward (compact discs canbe played only on one
side).
•Toremove a disc from its storage case, press down on the center of the case and li the disc upward, holding it
carefully by its edges.
•Toclean a disc, wipe the surface from the center hole outward towards the outer edge with a so, dry cloth.

irreparablydamagethedisc’splasticsurface.
•Discsshouldbereturnedtotheircasesafterusetoprotectfromdustandscratches.

•PrintableCD‐RandCD‐RWdiscsarenotrecommended,asthelabelsidemaybecomestickyanddamagetheunit.
•Useasoft,oil‐based,felt‐tippedpentowriteinformationonthelabelside.Neveruseaball‐pointorhard‐tipped
pen,asdoingsomaydamagetherecordedside.
•DonotuseirregularlyshapedCDs(octagonal,heartshaped,businesscardsize,etc),astheywilldamagetheunit.

Troubleshoong Guide
Please note:
In rare circumstances, your CD might not play properly in this device. If you insert a CD and the unit is
unresponsive, doesn’t read, or is not funconing properly, please follow one of the three soluons:
1) Please verify that you have the correct type of CD and it is not scratched or damaged.
This unit ONLY plays CD-R and CD-RW. This unit WILL NOT play MP3 CD’s or DVD-R’s.
2) Change the Mode - change the mode to Radio, or another mode, and then turn back to CD.
3) ON/OFF - Turn the unit OFF. Turn the unit back ON.
Either one of these soluons will fix this rare problem. If you are experiencing further problems, please contact our
customer support line.
GENERAL
