setuptoamaximumof30minutespercookingsession.
Whenselectingcookingtimeforlessthan2minutes,turnthetimerselectorknob
past2minutesandthenreturntothedesiredcookingtime.
NOTE:
Assoonasyouturnthetimerselectorknob,theovenwillstartcooking.Whenthe
cookingtimehaselapsed,abellwillringandtheovenwillturnoffautomatically.
Todeterminetherightcookingtimeforyourfoods,followtheinstructionsonthe
packagingofready‐madedishesanddeep‐frozenfoods.

Remembertocoverthefoodinorderto:

•retainsufficientmoistureforcooking.
Heatingliquids
Whenheatingliquids,asuddenoverflowmayoccurwhenyoutakethecontainerto
removeitfromtheappliance.Infact,whenthetemperaturereachesboilingpoint,
steamtendstoremaintrappedintheliquiduntilitisdisturbed.
Toavoidthissuperheatingeffectandtheconsequentriskofscalding,alwaysplacea
plasticspoonintheliquidtobeheated.
Acontainercaneasilybetestedformicrowave“transparency”:
Placetheemptycontainerontheturntabletogetherwithaglassofwaterandrun
theovenforoneminuteatmaximumpower.
Afteroneminute:
•ifthecontaineriscold,itis“transparent”andcanbeusedformicrowavecooking,
•ifthecontaineriswarmorhotitisabsorbentandmustnotbeusedformicrowave
cooking.
CLEANINGANDMAINTENANCE
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the microwave
oven from the mains supply and allow it to cool to room temperature.
GeneralAdvice
Frequentcleaningpreventstheformationofsmokeandbadodoursduringcooking
andalsosparkingintheovencavityandaroundthedoorseal.
Donotletfooddepositsorgreaseaccumulateinsidetheovencavityoronthedoor
seal.
Makesurethatthewaveguidecoveriskeptcleanatalltimes.Shouldfooddeposits
orgreasebeallowedtoaccumulateonthecover,sparkingwilloccurandmay

Removeanyfooddepositsandgreasebetweenthedoorsealandovencavityusinga
dampcloth,itisimportanttokeepthisareacleanatalltimes.
InteriorWalls
Removeanygreasesplashesfromtheovencavitywallswithsoapandwater,then
rinseanddry.
Thedoorsealandovencavityhavetobeparticularlywellcleanedtoensurethedoor
willcloseproperlyandtoavoidsparkingbetweentheovencavityanddoor
assembly.
Donotuseabrasiveproductssuchasscouringpadswhichwilldamagethesurfaces
oftheovencavityanddoor.
