INTRODUCTION:
This manual explains how to use this equipment and gives instructions on the
precautions to take during use. To understand all the features of the AV Series pumps and how to use it in the
most e󰀨ective manner, read this manual before using the equipment. This equipment should not be used for
applications other than those listed in this manual.
We recommend that the manual be kept on hand so that you may be able to refer to it at a later date. Should
the equipment be on sold or used by other personnel, please make sure that the manual is also passed on. In
case this manual is lost or damaged, please contact theequipment dealer from whom you purchased the AV
Series pump.
This manual was prepared with the utmost attention to detail. However, if you nd any errors or omissions,
contact the dealer from whom you purchased the equipment. The AV Series pump, can be supplied as a bare
shaft unit or mounted to a petrol or a diesel engine. This AV Series pump is extensively used by commercial
and industrial plant operators like builders, civil contractors, the hire industry and municipal services. This
pump is a semi– open impeller, self-priming with a suction check valve. The basic materials of construction is
aluminium casing, with cast iron impeller and chromate steel discharge port.
Our AV Series pumps have been designed and manufactured with safety in mind, however there are certain
basic precautions which should be taken by the user.
CONDITIONS FOR USE:
· Maximum ambient temperature: 50 C.
· Maximum operating temperature: 35 C.
· Minimum operating temperature: -10 C.
SAFETY INFORMATION:
Operating Safety
Failure to follow instructions in this manual may lead to serious injury or even death!
This equipment is to be operated by trained and qualied personnel only! The following safety guidelines
should always be used when operating any of the AV Series pumps:
· Never operate this machine in applications for which it is not intended or before
reading the manual in full.
· It is important that no one can operate this equipment without proper training. People operating this
equipment must be over 18 years of age and must be familiar with the risks and the hazards associated with it.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Connect the delivery hose to the outlet of the pump, again ensuring that the joint is airtight
(to prevent water spraying at this joint.)
Warning: Read the Engine Manufactures manual before attempting to start the unit. Obey any cautionary
instructions appertaining to the power unit (such as checking fuel in tank, and oil levels etc.) Start the power unit.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, read operating instructions carefully before using.
Read the owner’s manual thoroughly. Failure to follow instructions could cause
malfunction of the machine and result in death, serious bodily injury and/or property
damage.
WARNING: This machine exceeds 85 dB appropriate ear protection must be worn.
WARNING: Risk of injury. Hot surfaces can cause burns. Use only designated gripping
areas of spray gun and wand. Do not place hands or feet on non-insulated areas of the
pressure washer.
To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when a machine is used near children.
Do not allow children to operate the unit. This machine must be attended during operation.
WARNING: Risk of asphyxiation. Use this product only in a well ventilated area.
Avoid installing machines in small areas or near exhaust fans. Adequate oxygen is needed for
combustion or dangerous carbon monoxide will result.

MAINTAINENCE SCHEDULE
The following regular maintenance schedule is recommended as a minimum to keep your
pump in top condition.
The maintenance should be undertaken by suitably qualied sta󰀨. If you are unsure about
how to undertake the maintenance, we suggest that you get in contact with Pumps Australia. It is important
to use original spare parts to maintain the unit in a safe working order and also to maintain your Pumps Aus-
tralia warranty.

Step 1 Allign Both Drive’s Teeth.
Step 2 Put Coupling Guard to One side, and connect teeth
Step 3 Once teeth have been alligned, move guard over
Step 4 Insert 1 Locking Bolt and Feel out the Locking Groove
Step 5 Once In Position, Insert the 2nd Locking Bolt.
Step 1
- Make sure you have 1x Coupling Guard, 2x Eye Bolts.
- Turn all Cables by Hand to loosen any joints.
Step 2
- Put the Coupling Guard on one of the drives and expose the joiners.
- Allign both of the drive’s teeths
(It’s recommended to turn the other side of your power drive end to
make sure everything is turning and in order)
Step 3
- Once Alligned and checked everything is moving correctly, slide the
Coupling Guard over the Join.
Step 4
- Insert one of the eye bolts in, Using it as a Guide pin.
Step 5
- Insert your second eye bolt and then lock down both bolts into
position.
