processor amplifier was designed in the united states with sound quality that exceeds that
of many conventional class D designs while offering stunnin efficiency.
When installed and configured properly,this PZ-C7 DSP amplifier will bring a new level of
realism and impact to your mobile entertainment system.To get the best performance from your
DSP amplifier PUZU recommends that you have this amplifier installed and configured by an
experienced professional.

This manual describes the basic requirements to install PUZU PZ-C7 DSP amplifier.The
installation and configuration of this amplifier can be complex.If you do not possess the
necessary knowledge,experience and/or tools to perform this installation please contact
your location authorized PUZU dealer to arrange for professional installation.Keep all
instructions and your sales receipt for future reference and warranty purpose.

SIMPLE FAULT ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING
The harness connector does
not match the original car
Products in the use of the
process of noise
Work indicator light does

The original car host and the
machine can’t get power on
Harness for the car dedicated,please determine your
model and the height of the model,and infrom the local
dealer or agent
Make sure the host cable is properly connected to check
for loosening,After the exclusion is still noise,please
check the ground with the original car CD machhine shell
connection.Still can not be resolved please return to the
local dealer or agent.
Please check if the tail has been properly connected,
check the original car with or without amplifier or modeified amplifier
Check whether the original power cord is connected,
the original car with original car host shell,restore the
original car position

Car DSP Amplifier means Car digital siginal processor with bulit in Amplifier,It combined
tranditional Amplifier functions and Traditional Digital signal processor functions.DSP
Amplifier is an audio console which can turning audio sound,listening space compesation,
correction,adjustmentat equipment,the same time,it provide over 4X120Watts ouput power,
it can fit for most of peoples’ requirement,While a signal processor can do many things to
affect the sound the user hears, it cannot do everything because the signal processor does
not produce the sound directly. That task falls to the speakers. Even the most capable signal
processor can only deliver the best sound the speakers can create, and low-end speakers are
generally unable to take full advantage of the perfectly balanced clean signal provided by a
high-end signal processor. This is why any prospective purchaser looking to buy a high-end
signal processor should also take the time to make sure their speakers are capable of producing
clean enough sound to take full advantage of it. Otherwise they will have no way
to judge the full effect of the signal processor.it no need complicated wiring connection.It’s

If you car don’t have another Amplifier system,then you no need connect these
RCA ouput terminal,Just use our ISO cable connect to your factory radio and
original car tail line.
If you car with factory amplifier and aftermarket amplifier system,you can connect
the RCA as below,at this time,our C7 only do signal processor job,speaker powered
by your original car amplifier.diagram as below:

PLANNING YOUR INSTALLATION
It is important that you take the time to read this manual and that you plan your installation
carefully.It is very easy to damage expensive vehicle systems in modern automobiles,Never
assume that you have found appropriate wires without consulting a reliable wiring diagram
or without perfoming signal testing with proper test equipment,if you are uncomfortable or
unfamiliar with reading diagrams or testing signals,please enlist the services of your
authorized PUZU Audio dealer to perform the installtion.

The range 27.5-48.5Hz affects the frequency, the tone becomes thinner as the
frequency increases; 20-50Hz provides the peak frequency
600-2Khz affect the brightness, enhance the frequency can make the sound color clear

SOFTWARE OPERATION
!C7 Support computer software and Android APP,you can use your small phone adjust it.
please go to www.puzuaudio.com choose the right language version.C7 android app
support Chinese,English,Spanish,German,French,Russian,Portuguese,computer softare
only support english ,chinese.
C7 also support Iphone system connect it,but it charge around US$6.00 which you can
search it in iphone app store named “C1-BT”

After you download the PC-Tool of PZ-C7,you will see the interface as below:

Mini USB Cable
We highly recommend to set the volumeof your car radio to minimum position during first start-up. Additionally no devices
should be connected to the signal processor until general settings in the DSP C7 PC-Tool software have been made.
Especially if the DSP C7 will be used in fully active applications, a wrong setup can destroy your speakers right away.

HP Filter:You can insert Corresponding parameter obtain your prefer
bass effect Usually if you no change original car speakers,then insert
around 50Hz,if you changed the original car speakers.you can try insert
30Hz .You can choose the HP Filter Yype:Butter,Bessel,Link.
Same way as the HP Filter,you can set the LP Filter,you can insert
correspondingparameter obtain your prefer treble effect.Usually if
you no change original car speakers,then insert around 15000Hz,
if you changed the original car speakers.you can try insert 25000Hz
Limiter: usually we do not suggest you adjust this parameters.if you are
professional car audio Installation technician you can try adjust this
parameters.
You can choose PEQ mode or GEQ set the sound curve,if you want to compare the sound effect
before and after,please press the PASS to compare.if you want to set it again,press RST for reset
this interface show the control of each channel speakers,you can choose front left,front right,
Rear right,Rear left speakers,set them separately or set them as component.Grouping front
Grouping Rear,Grouping ALL.
You can set the lanugage by the arrow button (sys set),chinese,english only.

This curve show the band EQ adjustment,you can set 50Hz,100Hz,200Hz,500Hz,1KHz,2KHz

Preliminary remarks
Sound moves through the air at a speed of 343 mt/sec (1.125 ft/sec) and at the temperature
of 20°C (68°F). If you know the distance from the sound emission point, you can then calculate
the time sound takes to get to the listener's ear. If you set the distances of the different speakers
in your system, the C7 automatic system will change them into time (ms - milliseconds).
It does not assign the delay (0,0 ms) to the farthest speaker (usually the Subwoofer) while it
assigns progressively growing delays as much as the other speakers position gets closer to
the listening point, in order for all the emission points to reach the listening point at the same time
Original Time Delay effect

a specific speaker and the listening point.
Choose cm (centimetres) or in (inches).

The calculation system of the C7 time
delays also allows for a manual
fine-adjustment.
Preliminary remarks

assignment according to the distance
calculation is theoretical. That is, small
variations need to be applied due to small
errors in distance measurement, due to the back-wave reflections inside the car compartment and,
mainly, due to the speaker phase problem.Two speakers reproducing two areas of frequency one
close to the other (ex. Woofer and Midrange), in their crossing area will simultaneously reproduce,
at attenuated level, the same frequencies.Due to the different nature of the speakers, they will
show a difference in phase that, for a short frequency interval, works like a time delay.By acting
on the “fine set” you can partly also correct problems of Phase Delay.
For example “G” is the rear right car speaker,it’s the farthest distance to your ear. we set this
car speaker as Benchmark point,we need make sure the distance OA=OC=OE=OG,
it means we have to let B~A, F~E. D~C,then the sound of 4 speakers can reach to
your ear at the same time
