GENERAL INFORMATION

A qualied electrician should carry out wiring connection to the mains supply in accordance with local IEE wiring regulations.

Isolate the mains supply before commencing installation.

Do not connect to a circuit which also has inductive loads connected as spikes generated switching inductive loads may damage electronic components within your luminaire

Do not carry out high voltage insulation testing as this may damage internal components.

The chosen location of your new tting should allow for the product to be securely mounted and safely connected to the mains supply (Lighting circuit).

Ensure that the tting will be accessible after installation for maintenance.

Ensure the product is free from damage. Do not attempt to install damaged products please contact manufacturer.

The product should not be disassembled or modied in any way. Doing so will invalidate all warranties.

Do not install the tting with the glass facing vertically upwards.

To clean the exterior of your LED oodlight use a clean dry cloth. Avoid chemicals and abrasive cleaners.

INSTALLATION

Isolate the mains supply before commencing installation.

The ood light is supplied with a 3 core ex:

Live: Brown

Neutral: Blue

Earth: Green and Yellow

1. Determine the location of your luminaire. If any access equipment is required ensure the operator adheres to all health & safety regulations and has the appropriate licence/

qualications.

2. Make a mark against the wall where the drill holes need to be placed by aligning the light’s bracket against the wall.

Warning! Before drilling hole(s) into a wall, check that there are no hidden obstructions like pipes, cables and wires, within its surface.

3. Drill into the mounting surface where the marks have been made with a suitable size drill bit. The mounting bracket will take a maximum of 10mm bolts

4. Secure the tting in place and ensure the xing bolts are securely tightened and the tting is safe and free from any vibration.

5. Connect the 3 core ex supplied with the luminaire to your mains supply using the appropriate junction/connector box. We recommend as a minimum an IP65 rated junction box.
