CONTENT OVERVIEW :
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using this electrical appliance, read the instructions
below carefully and keep them for future reference:
1. Before plugging the appliance into the wall socket,
check that the local electric current corresponds to the
current specied on the appliance’s rating plate. Always
plug your appliance into an earthed wall socket.
2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
3. This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not
play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance
shall not be made by children unless they are older than

4. Unplug the power cable from the electricity network
as soon as you stop using the appliance and prior to any
cleaning, maintenance or accessory assembly work.

Press the button repeatedly to select one of the 14
programs described below. A beep will sound each time
you select a new program, and the program number will
display on the screen.
■: kneads, rises and bakes normal bread.
You can add ingredients to enhance avor.
■: kneads, rises and bakes French style
bread. The extended rise time creates a crispier
crust and lighter texture.
■: kneads, rises and bakes bread
using whole wheat our such as wholemeal or rye.
The extended preheating time allows the our to
absorb water and expand. Do not use the delay
function with this program as it produces poor results.
■: kneads, rises and bakes bread that
contains baking soda or baking powder instead of
yeast as a rising agent. This program produces a
smaller, denser bread.
■: kneads, rises and bakes sweet crusty
bread that contains more fat and sugar.
■: kneads, rises and bakes 2.0 lb
bread in the fastest time.
■: kneads, rises and bakes 1.5 lb
bread in the fastest time.
■ Note: The ultra-fast programs make smaller and
denser bread than the quick program.
■: kneads and rises the dough but does
not bake it. Remove the uncooked dough and shape
it into rolls, pizzas, steamed bread, etc.

13. BREAD SIZE
button
Press the button repeatedly to select the bread size
1.5 lb or 2.0 lb. The operation time will vary depending on
the size of your bread.
14. / DELAY
TIMER buttons
Delays the start of the program to produce bread at
your preferred time. Calculate the number of hours by
counting back from the time you want the bread to be
ready to your current time making sure to include the
program time.
Example: It is 8:30 p.m. and you want to have fresh
bread at 7 a.m. which is in 10 hours and 30 minutes.
Select a program, crust color and bread size. Press the
/ buttons to increase or decrease the duration time
until 10:30 appears on the screen. Then press and hold
the button to start the timer. The dots will ash and
the timer will countdown on the screen. Your fresh bread
is ready at 7 a.m. If you do not take it out immediately,
the bread maker WARM function will automatically keep
it warm for 60 minutes. The time can be changed in
increments of 10 minutes. The maximum delay time is
13 hours.
Note: Perishable goods such as eggs, fresh milk, fruit
and onions cannot be used for delayed cooking.
15. COLOR button Press the button repeatedly to select the desired crust
color: Light , medium or dark .

16. START/STOP
button
■ Press the button to start a program. A beep will
sound and two dots will ash during operation.
■ Press the button to pause a program, a beep will
sound and the remaining time and two dots will ash.
Press the button again to resume operation.
■ Press and hold the button to stop a program. A
beep will sound to conrm and the default screen
displays the time 3:00, program 1, bread size 2.0 lb
and medium browning level .
Note: All buttons except the button are inactive once a program has begun.
LCD SCREEN
17. The program stage is: KNEAD, RISE, BAKE or WARM (the bread maker
automatically keeps bread warm for 60 minutes after baking).

4. OPERATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Check if all the parts and accessories are present and undamaged.
2. To remove any manufacturing odors, set the bread maker to program
for 10 minutes without any ingredients. Allow to cool and then clean all parts
according to the instructions in the CLEANING AND CARE section.
3. Dry all parts thoroughly and assemble for use.
MEASURING INGREDIENTS
To make good bread you need to measure ingredients accurately using the measuring
equipment provided.
Measuring cup
■ Use the measuring cup for liquids such as water, milk or dry ingredients. Tap dry
ingredients to make them level. Place your eyes horizontal to the ingredient level
for accurate measuring.
■ Clean the measuring cup between measuring dierent ingredients i.e. oil and water.
Measuring spoon
■ Fill the measuring spoon compactly. Use a knife across the top of the spoon to
create a level measurement.

EN MAKING BREAD
1. Place the bread pan into the bread pan housing and turn it clockwise as shown by
the lock symbol until it clicks into place.
2. Push the kneading paddle onto the drive shaft in the bottom of the bread pan until
it is rmly secured into place.
3. Place the ingredients in the bread pan in the order specied in the recipe.
Note:
■ Usually, water or liquid substances are placed in the bread pan rst, then the sugar,
salt and our. Always add the yeast or baking powder last.
■ For heavier doughs using rye or whole wheat our, reverse the ingredient order. Put
the yeast in rst, followed by the our, sugar and lastly salt. Then add the liquids to
ensure even kneading.
4. Poke your nger into the our to make a small indentation and place the yeast in it.
Make sure the yeast does not come into contact with the salt or liquid ingredients.
5. Close the cover gently and plug the power cord into the wall socket. A beep will
sound and 3:00 appears on the screen. The default settings of program 1, bread
size 2.0 lb and medium browning level will also display.
6. Press the button repeatedly to choose a program.
7. Press the button repeatedly to choose the crust browning level.
8. Press the button repeatedly to select the bread size (1.5 lb or 2.0 lb).
9. If required, press the / buttons to set the delay time. Press and hold /
buttons to quickly scroll through the time.
10. Press the button to start the program.
11. For programs 1. , 2. , 3. , 5. ,
9. , 11. a long beep will sound to prompt you to open the
cover and add ingredients.
Note: It is normal for steam to escape through the vents when baking.
12. At the end of cooking, you will hear 10 beeps. The keep bread WARM program will
automatically run for 60 minutes unless you press and hold the button for about
3-5 seconds to stop the appliance. You can now remove the bread.
13. Open the lid. Firmly grasp the handle of the bread pan using oven gloves. Turn the
bread pan counterclockwise (as shown by the unlock symbol on the bread pan
housing) and lift it out of the appliance.
14. Use a non-stick spatula to gently loosen the sides of the bread from the bread pan.
Warning: The pan and bread can be very hot! Always handle carefully and use oven
gloves.
15. Turn the bread pan upside down on a clean surface and shake it gently until the
bread comes out.
16. Place the bread on a wire rack and allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before
cutting it into slices.
17. When the bread maker is not in use, unplug the power cord.
Note: Before cutting the bread, check whether the kneading paddle is embedded in
the base of the bread and if necessary, remove with the hook. Never use your hands to
extract the kneading paddle.

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
1. For quick breads
Quick breads are made using baking soda or baking powder that is activated by moisture
and heat. For perfect quick breads, pour the liquids into the bread pan rst and then
place the dry ingredients on top. During the initial mix, the dry ingredients may collect in
the corners or bottom of the bread pan. Use a rubber spatula to incorporate them into
the ingredients and prevent lumps.
2. For ultra-fast programs
The bread maker can bake bread in 98 minutes using programs
and . The bread is denser in texture. Ultra Fast 1 is for baking 2.0
lb bread while Ultra Fast 2 is for baking 1.5 lb bread. The water must be hot, between
48°C and 50°C. Use a thermometer to check the temperature. If the water temperature
is too low the bread will rise poorly, if it is too high, the yeasts will be killed and again the
bread will not rise.
MEMORY
If the power supply is interrupted for less than 10 minutes during cooking, the program will
automatically continue when the power supply returns. If the power supply is interrupted
for more than 10 minutes, the memory function may not hold, and the bread maker must
be restarted. However, if the dough is still in the kneading phase when the power is o,
you can press the button to resume the program from the beginning.
ENVIRONMENT
The bread maker works well in a wide range of temperatures. However, the nal loaf size
may vary if the bread is baked in a very warm room or very cold room. We suggest that
the room temperature should be between 15°C and 34°C.
WARNING MESSAGES
The following warning messages may appear after you press the button to start a
program:
Message Meaning
The appliance is too hot. Stop the program and allow
the appliance to cool for 10-20 minutes.
The temperature sensor is disconnected. Take the
appliance to an authorized repair agent.
Five beeps will sound to alert you that the appliance’s
internal temperature is too low. This can happen if
the appliance has been stored in an airconditioned
room or cold storage. Press the button to stop the
program, open the lid and for 10 to 20 minutes let the
appliance warm up to a normal room temperature.
Alternatively, select the program to
rapidly increase the appliance’s internal temperature.

EN 5. CLEANING AND CARE
WARNING: Always unplug the bread maker from the power supply and let it
cool down before cleaning.
WARNING: To protect against electrical shocks, do not immerse the main
body, plug or power cord in water, or spray with liquids.
WARNING: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire
brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads to clean the device or its attachments.

7. GUARANTEES AND LIMITATIONS OF
LIABILITY
This product is guaranteed for a period of 36 months (including the legal guarantee of
24 months as dened by local law as well as a commercial guarantee of 12 additional
months oered by the brand) from the date of purchase, against any failure resulting
from a manufacturing or material defect.
This guarantee does not cover damage resulting from a faulty installation, incorrect use,
or normal wear and tear.More specically, the guarantee does not cover:
■ Damage or problems caused by incorrect use, accidents, modications or an
electrical connection with the wrong current or voltage.
■ Products that have been modied or whose tamper evident seal or serial number
has been damaged, altered, removed or rusted.
■ Replaceable batteries and accessories are guaranteed for 6 months.
■ Battery failure, as a result of over-charging or non-compliance with the safety
instructions set out in the manual
■ Cosmetic damage, including scratches, bumps and any other element.
■ Damage caused by any servicing operations carried out by non-authorised persons.

The manufacturer is not liable for the loss of data stored on the hard drive. Similarly,
the manufacturer is not required to check that SIM/SD cards have been removed from
returned products.
Repaired or replaced products may include new and/or repackaged hardware and

To make a claim under the guarantee, please return your product to the reception desk
of your local sales outlet with the proof of purchase (receipt, invoice, etc.) of the product
and accessories supplied, along with the original packaging.
The following information will be required: date of purchase, model and serial or IMEI
number (this information generally features on the product, the packaging or proof of
purchase).
Failing this, you must return the product with all accessories needed for it to work properly
(power cable, adapter etc.).
If your product is covered by the guarantee, the after-sales service will (within the bounds
of the local legislation):
■ Repair or replace the faulty parts
■ Exchange the returned product with a product which has the same features or
better and is equivalent in terms of performance.
■ Refund the product at the price stated on the proof of purchase.
In the case of a repair covered by the guarantee, your guarantee period will be extended
by 6 months. This period cannot be combined in the event of repeated failures.
