1. SAFETY GUIDELINES
Before using this remote control, please read the instructions below
and keep them for future reference:
1. Please do not use the universal remote control in damp or wet
environments, and avoid any contact with water splashes.
2. Keep the remote control away from any heat sources and do not
expose it to direct sunlight.
3. Like any other electronic device, the universal remote control
must be kept out of reach of children.
4. This product is intended for domestic, non-commercial use.
5. The use of this product is reserved exclusively for its intended
function.
6. Protect the product from any dirt, humidity and overheating, and
use it only in dry places.
7. Do not use the product in areas where electronic products are
not authorised.
8. Protect the product from violent shaking and avoid any impacts
or drops.
9. Do not modify the product. Modications will invalidate the
guarantee.
10. Keep the device packaging out of reach of children, given the
risk of su󰀨ocation.
11. Recycle the packaging materials in line with the applicable local
guidelines.
12. Do not use the product outside of the power limits indicated in

3. INSTALLATION
3.1. INSERTING THE BATTERIES
1. Remove the battery cover located on the back of the universal remote
control (A).
2. Insert the batteries, respecting the “+/-” indications for the polarity (B).
3. Close the battery compartment (C).
NB:
• Alkaline batteries are recommended. Use two “AAA” batteries (LR 03/Micro).
• This remote control memorises settings, even when you have to change the
battery.
• The remote control turns o󰀨 automatically when a button is pressed down for
longer than 15 seconds. This means the battery life can be prolonged if the
remote control should become lodged in a place where the buttons stay pressed
down for a long period of time, such as between sofa cushions.
• This remote control indicates when the battery level is low. If the Status LED (2)

blinks 5 times after you’ve pressed a button, this means that the battery level is
low and the batteries should be replaced soon.
4. DEVICE FUNCTIONS
Notes before use:
• To ensure the infrared transmission is working properly, always hold the remote
If you don’t enter anything in 30 seconds, the SETUP mode (Settings) will
automatically end. The Status LED (2) blinks three times then goes o󰀨.
• Each device type can be programmed for any button on the remote. For example,
a television can be programmed under DVD, AUX, etc.
• You can’t use any device with the universal remote control if the latter is in Setup
mode (Settings). Exit Setup mode (Settings) and select the device you want to
pair with your remote control, using the device selection buttons.
• Please note that the remote control gives o󰀨 infrared signals. These cannot be
seen by the human eye.
• Each time you press a button, the Status LED (2) blinks to indicate that the device
mode is active.
4.1. Automatic code search
The automatic code search uses the same predened codes as the manual code
search (4.3). The universal remote control searches for codes automatically until the
device you want to pair responds.
1. Turn on the device that you want to pair with your remote control.
2. Press the “SETUP” button (9) until the Status LED (2) lights up and stays
solidly lit.
3. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. TV). If the selection is successful, the Status LED (2) will
blink once then stay xed.
4. Press the “CH+/CH–” button (18/16) or the “POWER” button (1) to
start the automatic code search. The Status LED (2) will blink once then
stay xed. It takes 6 seconds before the universal remote control can
begin its rst search.
NB: Search speed settingSearch speed setting
The standard search time per code is one second. If this doesn’t work for you, you can
increase it to a search time of 3 seconds per code. To change the search time, press
“CH+” (18) or “CH–” (16) for 6 seconds before the start of the automatic code search.
4.2. Directly entering codes
With the universal remote control, you’ll nd a list of codes. The code list contains four-
gure codes which allow for the remote control to be set up with most audiovisual device
manufacturers.
For simpler identication, the codes are rstly classed by device type (TV, DVD, etc.),
then within the device type by brand in alphabetical order.
1. Turn on the device that you want to pair with your remote control.
2. Press the “SETUP” button (9) until the Status LED (2) lights up and stays
solidly lit.
3. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. TV). If the selection is successful, the Status LED (2) will
blink once then stay xed.
4. In the code list, nd the code corresponding to your device.
5. Enter the four-gure code using the 0-9 digital keypad. The Status LED
(2) conrms the entry of the various gures by a brief blink and goes o󰀨
after the fourth gure..
6. Next, test the remote control and check that you have access to the
desired functions. It’s possible that the rst code isn’t the best-suited

or that not all functions are available. In this case, try the code for the
selected type/brand of device in the list.
NB:
• A valid code is automatically remembered.
• If an invalid code is entered, the Status LED (2) will blink 3 times then stay solidly
lit. A new code can then be entered.
• If no device is selected, the latest device selected is automatically used.
4.3. Manual code search
The universal remote control has an internal memory that contains up to 350 codes,
classed by device type, for the most commonly used audiovisual devices. You can scroll
through these codes until the device that you want to pair with your remote control
responds.
1. Turn on the device that you want to pair with your remote control.
2. Press the “SETUP” button (9) until the Status LED (2) lights up and stays
solidly lit.
3. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. TV). If the selection is successful, the Status LED (2) will blink
once then stay xed.
4. Press the “POWER” button (1) or “CH+/CH–” (18/16) to scroll through
the predened codes until the device that you want to pair with your
remote control responds.
5. Press the “SETUP” button (9) to save the code and exit the code search.
The Status LED (2) will go o󰀨.
6. Then, text the remote control and check that you have access to its
functions.
NB:
• Press the [EXIT] button (14) to exit Setup mode without saving a code. The Status
LED (2) will blink 3 times then go o󰀨.
• If no device is selected, the latest device selected is automatically used.
• Up to 350 codes for the most common devices can be saved in the remote’s
internal memory. Given the huge number of audiovisual devices available on the
market, it’s possible that only the main and most common functions are available.
If this is the case, repeat steps 1 to 5 to nd a more compatible code. For some
specic device models, it may be that there is no code available.
4.4. Code recognition
Code recognition allows you to determine a code that has already been remembered.
1. Press the “SETUP” button (9) until the Status LED (2) lights up and stays
solidly lit.
2. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. TV). If the selection is successful, the Status LED (2) will
blinkcontrol pointed towards the device you’re wanting to use it for.
3. once then stay xed.
4. Press the “SETUP” button (9). The Status LED (2) will blink once then
stay lit.
5. To search for the rst gure, press one of the digital keypad buttons
numbered 0 to 9 (11). The Status LED (2) will blink once for the rst gure
of the four-gure code number.
6. Repeat step 4 for the second, third and fourth gures.
5. SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
5.1. Channel Punch-Through
With the Channel Punch-Through function, the CH+ (18) or CH- (16) can ignore the

device currently controlled and change the channel on a second device. All other
commands aren’t a󰀨ected.
To activate the Channel Punch-Through function:
1. Simultaneously press on the [MUTE] (22) and [Vol+] (6) buttons for
approximately 3 seconds until the Status LED (2) comes on and stays
solid.
2. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. [TV]). Once a selection has been successfully made, it’s
conrmed by the Status LED (2) blinking once then staying lit.
3. Enter the code [9] [6] [0], the Status LED (2) will blink twice then stay
solidly lit.
4. Press the [CH+] button (18) . The Status LED (2) will blink once then stay
solidly lit.
5. Press the desired device’s selection button (e.g. [STB]). The setting is
activated when the Status LED (2) blinks 3 times then goes o󰀨.
To deactivate the Channel Punch-Through function:
1. Simultaneously press on the [MUTE] (22) and [Vol+] (6) buttons for
approximately 3 seconds until the Status LED (2) comes on and stays
solid.
2. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. [TV]). Once a selection has been successfully made, it’s
conrmed by the Status LED (2) blinking once then staying lit.
3. Enter the code [9] [6] [0], the Status LED (2) will blink twice then stay
solidly lit.
4. Press the [CH-] button (16). The Status LED (2) will blink once then stay
solidly lit.
5. Press the desired device’s selection button (e.g. [STB]). The setting is
deactivate when the Status LED (2) blinks 3 times then goes o󰀨.
NB:
If an invalid code is entered, the Status LED (2) will blink 3 times then stay solidly lit. A
new code can then be entered.
5.2. Audio Volume Punch-Through / Volume Lock/Unlock - Volume
Lock and Unlock
With the Volume Punch-Through button, the commands [Vol+] (6) or [Vol-] (8), and
[MUTE] (22) can ignore the device currently controlled and change the volume of a
second device. All other commands aren’t a󰀨ected.
NB:
On some devices, the [Vol+] (6), [Vol-] (8) and [MUTE] (22) buttons do not have any
function. In this case, the remote control automatically transmits the commands to the
programmed television.
Transferring the volume setting - Volume lock
1. Simultaneously press the [SETUP] (9) button for approximately 3 seconds
until the Status LED (2) comes on solidly.
2. Use the corresponding device selection button (e.g. [TV]) to select to
device to which you want the volume setting to be transferred. Once a
selection has been successfully made, it’s conrmed by the Status LED
(2) blinking once then staying lit.
3. Press the [MUTE] button (22). The Status LED (2) will blink once then
stay solidly lit.

4. Press the [Vol+] button (6). The setting is activated when the Status LED
(2) blinks 3 times then goes o󰀨. The [Vol+] (6), [Vol-] (8) and [MUTE] (22)
buttons have then been successfully transferred.
Unlocking the volume control - Volume unlock
1. Simultaneously press the [SETUP] (9) button for approximately 3 seconds
until the Status LED (2) comes on solidly.
2. Use the corresponding device selection button (e.g. [TV]) to select to
device to which the volume setting has been transferred. Once a selection
has been successfully made, it‘s conrmed by the Status LED (2) blinking
once then staying lit.
3. Press the [MUTE] button (22). The Status LED (2) will blink once then
stay solidly lit.
4. Press the [Vol-] button (8). The setting is deactivate when the Status LED
(2) blinks 3 times then goes o󰀨. The [Vol+] (6), [Vol-] (8) and [MUTE] (22)
buttons have then been successfully unlocked.
NB:
This function is deactivated in the default factory settings.
5.3. Macro Power
With Macro Power, you can turn on/o󰀨 two audiovisual devices at the same time.
To activate the Macro Power function
1. Simultaneously press on the [MUTE] (22) and [Vol+] (6) buttons for
approximately 3 seconds until the Status LED (2) comes on and stays
solid.
2. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. [TV]). A successful selection is indicated by the Status LED
(2) blinking once then staying solidly lit.
3. Enter the code [9] [5] [0], and the Status LED (2) will blink twice then
stay solidly lit.
4. Use the device selection button to select the second device to pair with
your remote control (e.g. [STB]), which should be turned on in future. A
successful selection is indicated by the Status LED (2) blinking once then
staying solidly lit.
5. Press the [OK] button (17). The setting has been successfully activated
when the Status LED (2) blinks 3 times then going o󰀨.
To deactivate the Macro Power function
1. Simultaneously press on the [MUTE] (22) and [Vol+] (6) buttons for
approximately 3 seconds until the Status LED (2) comes on and stays
solid.
2. Use the button to select the device that you want to pair with your remote
control (e.g. [TV]). A successful selection is indicated by the Status LED
(2) blinking once then staying solidly lit.
3. Enter the code [9] [5] [0], and the Status LED (2) will blink twice then stay
solidly lit.
4. Use the device selection button to select the second device (e.g. [STB])
which was previously switched on. A successful selection is indicated by
the Status LED (2) blinking once then staying solidly lit.
5. Press the [EXIT] button (14). The setting has been deactivated when the
Status LED (2) blinks 3 times then goes o󰀨.
NB:
• If an invalid code is entered, the Status LED (2) will blink 3 times then stay solidly
