Overview:
This vehicle specific subwoofer enclosure is designed to
fit in the rear hatch area of the PT Cruiser. The enclo-
sure mounts using the same slots that are used by the
rear package tray. The enclosure can be mounted at
two different positions in the PT Cruiser. It can be
mounted low in the storage area with the package tray
in the upper position (AS SHOWN IN PHOTOGRAPH >)
or can be mounted in the upper location allowing the
package tray to mount in one of the two lower locations.
Please follow the instructions carefully to safely mount
the enclosure and ensure the best performance.
Speaker Installation:
Remove the contents of the hardware packs and attach
the speaker leads to the terminal cups located inside the
enclosure. Be sure to wire the positive to red and the
negative to black.
Place a polyfill sheet in the bottom of each side of the
enclosure. Use the supplied foam tape and apply the
tape to the mounting surface on the back of the speaker
basket. Connect the speaker leads to the speakers. Be
sure to wire the positive to red and the negative to
black.
Place the speakers in the mounting locations and se-
cure using the supplied 1" screws.
Place the rubber "U-channel" over the edge of the
supplied grills and press into the grill recesses on the
top of the enclosure.

Ai Research warrants to the original retail purchaser, this product to be free from defective workmanship and material when used under normal conditions in
accordance with the product's printed instructions for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase. Ai Research agrees to remedy any such defect or to furnish
a new part in exchange for the defective one at no charge for parts or labor.
This warranty is limited to Ai Research products and specifically excludes consequential damage to other associated equipment which may result for any reason
from use with this product. In no event shall Ai Research be liable for incidental or consequential damages or have any liability with respect to defects other than
the obligations set forth above. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, and/or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights
which vary from state to state.
This warranty does not cover the following:
• Damages caused by water, neglect, abuse, misuse,
• Improper installation or operation.
• Damages caused by acts of God or nature.
• Damages occurring during shipment of the product to Ai Research for repairs.
• Any product which is modified without consent of Ai Research.
If you need warranty service, take the following steps:
1.Save your sales receipt for warranty registration and service.
2.Contact the dealer from whom you bought Q-Logic. They will give you instructions for warranty service.
3.If no dealer is available, call Q-logic for further Instructions: (866) 680 - 2375.
You must receive an RA# before returning any defective parts.

Enclosure Installation:
Run the speaker leads from the amp to the enclo-
sure location.
Place the enclosure into the package tray slots as
shown (refer to photograph >) by inserting the
front edge on the enclosure first and allowing the
rear edge to rotate into place. Secure using the
suppied 1.5" screws.
Hook up the speaker leads from the amp to the
terminal cups of the enclosure at this time. Be
sure to wire the positive to red and the negative to
black.
NOTE: Permanent mounting of this enclosure is not
only the safest installation, but usually produces the
best sound quality.
