5. Installation
»Monitor installation location
Standard monitor installation height is about 1,500mm where screen center is at eye level;
in this case, wall-hanging metal center is 1,450mm above ground level.
»Wiring and installation of indoor monitor
1) Remove mounting bracket behind monitor and x it on the wall with screw;
2) Pull the cable out and connect the system according to 4.1 wiring diagram;
3) Hang the monitor on the mounting bracket;
4) Plug DC adapter’s power plug into power socket.
6. Operation Description
6.1 Visitor Call
When door station calls in, the visitor’s image will be shown on the monitor screen and you
can press to talk with the visitor and press again to terminate.
When door station calls in, you can press to release door lock.
When door station calls in, you can press to select setting item(brightness/color/
contrast/ringtone volume)and then press or to increase or decrease the value.
During the talk:
»You can press and then press or to adjust the brightness/color/contrast/
talking volume.
»You can press to switch to other door station and the current talk will be terminated.
»You can press to transfer the current call to other extension monitors.

Remark:
»If the ringtone volume is 0,the monitor will enter [Do not Disturb] mode;when door station
calls in, the monitor will be mute.
6.2 Monitor Function
When you press and then the monitor will enter monitor mode, then it will show image
from the corresponding door station.Press once, the screen will display “ ”; press
twice, the screen will display “ ” ; press three times, the screen will be turned off.
Remark:
»If monitoring fails,the screen will show a triangle with an exclamation point.The denition
of icon is as below:
6.3 Intercom Function
In standby mode, press to enter the intercom address selecting page and press or
to select the monitor you want to call, and then press to start the call, then you
can talk with the monitor if the called monitor answers the call.
Monitoring failed(The monitor isn’t set up as “Master” /Net busy)
Remark:
»If intercom fails,the screen will show a triangle with an exclamation point.The denition of
icon are as below:

6.4 Setting Page
In standby mode, press to enter the mian setting page and then press or to
switch and select between different setting items and then press to enter the selected
setting page.In the selected setting page,you can press to switch between different
setting items and press or to adjust the value,and then press to connrm
the settings and return to main setting page.
