Thissetemploysanoptical laserbeamsystemin theCD mechanism
designedwithbuilt-insafeguards. Donotattempt todisassemble.

dirt and scratchescan causeskippinganddistortion.
lDonotwriteon thelabelsidewithaball-point penorotherwriting utensils.
lDonotuserecordcleaningsprays,benzine,thinner, staticelectricityprevention liquids.
lBecareful not todrop orbendthedisc.
lDonotinstall morethan1disc onthedisc compartment.
lDonottrytoclosethedisc coverwhenthedisc isnotinstalledproperly.
lBesuretostorethedisc initsexclusivecasewhen notinuse.
Ifthesurfaceissoiled
Wipegentlywithasoft, damp(wateronly)cloth.
Whenwipingdiscs,alwaysmovetheclothfromthecenterholetowardtheoutside,
whichwillnotcausedistortion.(If you wipethediscs usingacircularmotion,circular
scratchesarelikelytooccur,whichwillcausedistortion.)
Ifthediscisbroughtfromacoldtoawarmenvironmentmoisturemayform
on thedisc
Wipethismoistureoffwithasoft, dry,lint-free clothbeforeusingthedisc.

The playerbuilt-inarechargeablelithiumbattery.
1. Chargethebattery
-ConnecttheadaptortotheDC 12VINjack,then set theunit inPOWERONmode(THE
PLAYINGMODE)forfullycharge.
-SetinPOWEROFF modeforfullycharge.
Andtheindicatorisred duringcharging;itgetsgreenwhenchargingiscompleted.
2.Timeto rechargethebattery
Rechargeandplaybacktimedependson batterypackcapacityand thetemperature
condition.
Generallyspeaking, thebatteryneedstobechargedabout2hours.
3.Usingand maintaining rechargeablebattery
-.Thenormal workingcondition temperatureis:0~45OC;
-.AlwaysunplugAC/DCpowersupplyfortheunitwhenevernotplaying.
NOTE: Anewbatterywhichhasnotbeenused oronewhichhasnotbeen used formore
than amonth,mayappeartonot recharged enough, thisisduetothe characteristicofthis
batteryandisnotamalfunction.Inthiscase, rechargeittwoorthree timesbeforethefirst
use,anditneedsmorethan 8hourstorechargebattery.
Noisesmaybegenerated duringrecharging. Inthiscase,useamoredistantpowersocket.

Remotecontroloperation
1. Removetheprotectiveplastictabbefore
operatingtheremotecontrol.
2. Pointtheremotecontrol fromnomorethan
about6mfromtheremotecontrol sensorand
within about60 ofthefront oftheplayer(Fig2).
NOTE:
lThe operatingdistancemayvaryaccording
tothebrightness oftheroom.
lDonotpointbrightlightsat remotecontrol
sensor.
lDonotplaceobjectsbetweentheremote
control andtheremotecontrol sensor.
lDonotusethisremotecontrol while

DVDoperations
BeforeenjoyingDVD/Video CD/CD
The On-Screenmenulanguageof yourplayerhasbeenfactorypre-set toSpanish. If you
wanttochangethemenulanguagetootherlanguage, pleasereferto"Initial settings/
General setup/ OSDlang". Intheexplanation belowitisassumed that Englishhasbeen
selected asmenu language.
Basicplay
1.SwitchontheDVDplayer(powerswitchis
locatedon therightsideoftheunit.)
NOTE:1).Makesurethat all theconnections
includingconnectionstoACadaptor,other
AVequipmentetc.havebeencompleted
beforeswitchingthePOWERknob tothe
"ON"position.
2).Afterswitchingtheunit "OFF"wait serval
secondsbeforeturning theunit back "ON"
Theunitmaymalfunctioniftheunitis
switched back "ON"immediatelyafter
switching "OFF".If amalfunction occurs,
switchtheunit "OFF"andwait serval
secondsbeforeturning it "ON"again.
2.Press SWITCH button tosettheunitin DVD
mode.
3. Pushtheopen button toopenthedisc cover.
4. Placeadisc ontothedisc compartment. Holdthedisc withouttouchingeitherofits
surfaces,positionit withtheprintedtitlesidefacingup,alignit withtheguides, and placeitin
itsproperposition.
5. Closethedisc cover,afterclosingthedisc cover, playbegins.Theplayerstartstoread the
disc immediately.
6.Whenamenuscreenappearson theTV,movethenavigationbuttonsorpressthenumeric
buttonstoselect preferred tracknumber,thenpress ENTERbuttontoconfirm.
7. Press NEXTorPREVbutton toplaythenextorpreviouschapter.
8.Tostop playandreturntothemenuscreen,pressTITLEbutton,orMENUbutton.

Stoppingplay
Press theSTOPbuttontostop playingadisc.
NOTE: When playerisstopped,theplayerrecordsthe
point whereSTOPwaspressed(RESUMEfunction).
Press PLAY again, playback will resumefromthispoint.
WhenthetrayisopenedorSTOPispressed twice, the

1. Insertthedisc containingthefilesinmusicformat to
beplayedandafterafewseconds, thescreenofthe
monitorwillshowallthefolderson thedisc:

-REPEATFOLDER:allthefilesinthefolderwillbeplayed repeatedly.
-FOLDER:allthefilesin thefolderwillbeplayed.
