TheMeterentersthe"sleep mode"andblanks thedisplayiftheMeteris

Pressthe HOLD keyorrotatetherotaryswitchtowakethemeterup.
TodisabletheSleep mode,holddownthe SELECT functionkeywhile
turningthemeteron.
BEEPERINDICATION
Whenpressthefunctionkeyandifit isvalid,abeep will beemitted. The
buzzerwill soundfivetimesoneminutebeforeautopoweroff.And a
long sound toshowtheautopoweroff.Inthecontinuitymeasuring
status, iftheresistanceissmallerthan 50Ω,thebuzzerwill sound.
BATTERY&FUSE REPLACEMENT
ToreplacetheMeter'sbattery:
Ifthesign"BATT" appearson theLCDdisplay,itindicatesthatthe
batteryshouldbereplaced.Removethescrewonthebackcoverand
openthebatterycase.Replacetheexhaustedbatterieswithtwonew
1.5V batteriesofthesametype(SR44).
ToreplacetheMeter'sfuse:
Fuserarelyneedreplacementandblowalmostalwaysasaresultof
operator serror.Open thecaseandreplacetheblownfusewiththe
samerating specified: F500mA/250V ∅5×20.

Beforeattempting toopen thecase,always besurethattestleadshave
beendisconnected frommeasurementcircuits.Closecaseand tighten
screwscompletelybeforeusingthemetertoavoidelectricalshock
