Screw installation instructions
Step1: Install the two screws on the front
Step2: Install and tighten 4 screws on the bottom shell
Note: Install the screws in opposite angles order. Do not fully tighten the screws at the
beginning. When all four screws are installed, then fully tighten them. Otherwise, the
waterproof capability may be deteriorated due to uneven tightening.

Installation on Vehicle
Please install GV600 device to the Flatbed, Chassis and Tanker etc.
Flatbed: Inside a forward frame rail or under the trailer floor.
Chassis: Inside a forward frame rail with the harness side facing the trailer harness.
Tanker: For most tankers, the best mounting location for GV600 device is behind the plate that the trailer’s cable
receptacle so as to be easy mounted on.
NOTE: When installing the GV600 tracker, it is better to put it to a good signal covering position.
CAUTION: Please do not drill holes and install it on the tanker directly.
Find a mounting location in a frame rail or under the trailer floor, with wire
routing access that will allow the GV600 Series device
towards to a good signal covering position.
Use either of the mounting plate methods(refer to next page)
to install GV600 device to the trailer.
Use two self-drilling screws that can be easy to mount the GV600 device to
the flatbed’s wood floor.
Find a mounting location under a gusset on the driver’s side frame rail,
with wire routing access that will allow the
GV600 device towards to a good signal covering position.
Use either of the mounting plate methods
(refer to next page) to install GV600 device to the trailer.
Make sure the harness side of the GV600 towards to the trailer harness of
the driver side frame rail.
Draw two holes on the mounted plate
Drill holes for screw installation
Install GV600 to the plate, with the
cable connector towards to the ground

Mounting Configures
Plate Mount, convert (Welded):
Nose Mount :
Use the GV600 Mounting plate as a template, mark four holes with a
pencil for mounting holes
Drill mounting holes with a #29 drill bit
Screw the plate to the chassis by using the Flat head screws x4
Secure the GV600 to the mounting plate, with the supplied Serrated
flange nuts x2
Cable connector end should towards to the ground.
Weld the GV600 mounting plate into place
Weld the full length of the tap
Don’t weld the entire plate

Weld here
Place the GV600 device on the forward facing bulkhead, harness-side down
Fix the GV600 device with two screws

Routing GV600 Device Wire Harness
Nose Mounting in trailer:
Mounting in Flatbed and chassis:
Mounting in tanker:
Remove the bolts and open the housing’s cover
Choose the best harness routing way
Run alongside the trailer harness through the housing’s stock cable
grommet.
Install cable clamps to secure the harness to trailer
Remove the bolts and pull the cover away from the housing
Route the GV600 device wire harness alongside the trailer harness
through the housing’s stock cable grommet
Use the zip ties and cable clamps to fix the wire harness to the
trailer harness and trailer
Remove the bolts and open the housing cover
Feed the device harness through the housing’s stock cable grommet

External Power Connection
Connect the power wire (Red) and ground wire (Black) to the external power supply
Important note: If you want to use accessory which GV600 support, please refer the GV600
series User Manual.
There are two pairs of power cable (PWR & AGND) that are included in the 18pin wire harness. You
can select a pair of power cable (PWR & AGND) and use it to connect to external power.
Chose one of the PWR cable (PWR1 or PWR2) to connect external power

LED Status of Device
LED Lighting Definition:
Note 1: CELL LED cannot be configured
Note 2: GPS LED and PWR LED are configurable to turn off by using the manage tool.
Note 3: Fast flashing: for CELL LED is about 100 ms ON/800 ms OFF; for GPS LED and PWR LED is
about 100 ms ON/100 ms OFF
Note 4: Slow flashing: for CELL LED is about 100 ms ON/2000 ms OFF; for GPS LED and PWR LED is
about 600 ms ON/600 ms OFF
