1. Safety Instruction
Here is important information for safe and efficient operation.
Please read this information before using your SGP-6000.
For optimal performance, install this indoors. When specially used in an outdoor area, it may not work in below 0℃
or over 50℃.
Install SGP-6000 on hard, flat surface for proper ventilation.
Avoid using SGP-6000 in high temperature or near a source of fire or gas.
Avoid storing SGP-6000 in cold areas.
Do not expose SGP-6000 to moisture or dust.
Do not use SGP-6000 in the hospital.
Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents to clean SGP-6000. And wipe with a soft, clean, dry cloth to clean it.
Do not knock, drop, and shake SGP-6000 to avoid breaking the case.
Use only the supplied or approved replacements.
Only authorized personnel should service SGP-6000 and its accessories.
Do not use SGP-6000 with a car battery.
Do not touch the antenna when SGP-6000 is being used.
Do not use the unit with a damaged antenna. Have your antenna replaced by a qualified technician immediately.
Use only the provided antennas. Do not use the provided antennas for any other purpose.
Use only the provided adapter. Do not use the provided adapter for any other purpose
If the unit fails to work for any reason, do not attempt to disassemble.

2.2 LCD display
Icons display on the screen to indicate what features you are using, signal strength and the phone status etc.
ICON OPERATING CONDITION
Antenna : indicates strength of the received signal.
The more bars indicate the stronger signal.
Call divert : indicates that all calls are diverted.
Message: shows when a text message is received
Voice mail: shows when a voice message is received
Call In use: indicates that a voice call is in progress.
Alarm : shows when alarm time is set.
Battery: indicates Battery charge level
2.3 Installation guide
2.3.1. Check the components
Check to make sure that you have all the parts shown below after opening the package. If any piece is missing
or broken, please call SGP-6000 sales agent or customer service.

2.3.2. Install SIM card
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Open the SIM card cover on the bottom side.
3. Insert a SIM card into the socket as shown in the picture.
4. Close the SIM card cover.
NOTE : Make sure the SIM card is aligned properly with the
directional arrow on the holder.
2.3.3. Start SGP-6000 with the SIM card.
1. Power on your phone
2. Enter a PIN code
3. After entering the correct PIN code, the phone is ready to be used.
Note: You have 3 chances to enter a PIN code.
If incorrect Pin codes are entered 3times, a SIM card will be locked.
To unlock it, you must contact your service provider.
2.3.4. Install battery
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Open the battery cover on the bottom side of the phone.
3. Connect the Battery cable to phone.
4. Close the battery cover.
NOTE : Do not use SGP-6000 battery pack else.
Using any other batteries may result in fire or other damage to the
unit.
2.3.5. Desktop installation
Before you select a location to place it, you must read 1.Safety Instruction section of this manual.
1. Screw the phone antenna into the phone antenna connector

* Note : finger-tighten the antenna.
2. Connect the handset cable to the phone jack and the handset
Plug the DC Adaptor cord into the power supply and an appropriate power outlet.
3. Check signal strength of the antenna icon and move the unit until you find the best signal possible.
2.3.6. Wall mounting
1. Drill two holes at the marked locations.
2. Tighten screws until the head is about 3~5mm from the
wall.
3. Hang SGP-6000 on the screw using two holes in the
back.

3. Basic operations
3.1 Making calls
You can make a call as follows.
1. Make sure your phone is turned on.
2. Pick up the handset or press [Speaker] key. your phone is now off-hook
3. Listen for dial tone.
4. Dial the phone number.
NOTE : To erase the last digit entered, press [Soft 2] key
To erase all, press [Soft 2 ] key and hold it
5. Press [Send] key or wait for the Auto time-out.
6. The call is connected and you may start conversation.
7. To End the call, replace the handset or press [End] key
3.2 Redialing the last number dialled
You can redial the latest dialled phone number.
1. Pick up the handset or press [Speaker] key.
2. Listen for dial tone.
3. Press [Send] -> [Send] key.
4. When the call is connected, you may start conversation.
5. To End the call, replace the handset or press [End] key
NOTE: You can redial up to 60 numbers saved in ‘Call log’ menu.
3.3 Receiving calls
When there is an incoming call, your phone rings or backlight blinks in light mode.
You can answer an incoming call as follows,
1. Pick up the handset or press [Speaker] key
2. Start conversation.
3. To End the call, replace the handset or press [End] key.
NOTE: If the number is identified from the phonebook, the name is displayed.

You can also reject the incoming call, pressing [End] key or [Soft 2]key
3.4 Call waiting
Your phone will notify you of a new incoming call, while you have a call in progress.
If you set this feature enabled, you might put the active calls while you answer the other incoming call.
1. Press
[Soft 1 ] key to answer a call waiting during the first call.
2. You may start conversation with caller number.
3. Press
[Soft 1]-> [Swap] key for options to switch between the 2 calls.
4. To End the call, replace a handset or press [End] key
3.5 Call Conferencing
Call Conferencing function provides you with the ability to have simultaneous communication with up to 6
persons.
1. Make a call to first party.
2. After the first call is connected, dial the second number.
3. Press [Send] key
4. Press
[Soft 1] key for options ‘Join all’
5. Repeat step 2,3,4 as required, to add a new participant
NOTE: The Conference Call Service may not be available on all networks.
You may contact your service provider for more information.
3.6 Making international calls
You can dial an overseas phone number as follows.
1. Press [*] key and hold it until ‘+’sign appears in off-hook mode.
2. Enter the country code, the area code (without the leading zero) and the phone number
3. Press [Send] key.
3.7 Entering & Editing Text
Your SGP-6000 provides 6 text input modes to enter letters using the keystrokes.

You can press each stroke on the button which scrolls the assigned alphabet letters and numeric value.
3.7.1 Text & number input mode
You can scroll through all these following input modes using [#] key.
-ABC mode (all capital letters)
-Abc mode (next letter capital)
-abc mode (no capitals)
-123 mode (numeric mode)
3.7.2. Special characters, punctuation input mode
- Symbol mode
Press [*] key to insert sentence marks when entering text.
3.7.3. Predefined phase’s mode
- Templates
You can save predefined phases in your phone SGP-6000, and use the phases immediately.
3.7.4 Main key functions
1. [Number keys] (‘0~9’keys) : Use each keystroke per letter to write the word,
2. [O] key : Press to insert a space or start a new line in ‘text’mode
3. [*] key : Press to insert special characters in ‘text’mode.
4. [#] key : Press to change ‘text input’mode.
5. [Soft 2] key : Press to delete a single space or character.
Press and hold it to delete entire words.
For example, to write ‘Welcome to your phone SGP-6000’ in Abc mode, follow the steps.

You can find SGP-6000 has 6 main Menus, ‘Contacts’, ‘Messages’, ‘Call log’, ‘Utilities’, ‘Organizer’, ‘settings’.

1. Opening the main menu : Press [Soft 1] key to access all the applications in your phone,
2. Moving in the menu : Press [Navigation key - [∨]key, [∧] key ]to the up and down to move in the menu.
3. Opening the application or folder : Press [Soft 1]key or [OK] key to open it
4. Closing the application or folder : Press [Soft 2] key as many times as is needed to return to standby mode or
press [End] key.
Contacts
Your phone has an internal phone book which can hold up to 500 entries.
You can select from the 6 sub-menus, ‘View contacts’, ‘New contact’, ‘Speed dials’, ‘Copy all’, ‘Delete all’,
‘Settings’ in this menu ‘contacts’
4.1.1 View contacts
You can access SGP-6000 phone book by pressing [Soft 2] key in Idle state
1. Press [Soft 2] key(Contacts) in Idle state.
2. Press [Navigation] key to move in the groups. ‘all’‘family’‘friends’‘colleague’‘business’‘group1’‘group
2’
3. To view details of the selected record, press [OK] key.
4. To make a call, pick up the handset or press [Speaker] key and press [Send] key.
5. To select options, press [Soft 1] key
Options : ‘View’, ‘Search’, ‘Add’, ‘Edit’, ‘Delete’, ‘Change group’, ‘Copy to phone/SIM’, ‘Call’, and ‘Send
message’
4.1.2 New contact
You can store multiple contact details –mobile number, phone number, office number, fax number - under a
name as follows
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contacts) > [2] key (New contact) in Idle state.
2. Enter information in your desired item
4.1.3 Speed dials

You can use ‘Speed dials’ function to make you call faster.
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contacts) > [3] key (Speed dials) in Idle state.
2. Press [Navigation] key to move
3. To add new number on the Empty list, press Option key.
Options : ‘Add from contacts’, ‘View number’, ‘Change’, ‘Delete’,and ‘Delete all’ options are available
4. To make a call, press and hold the numeric key (0 - 9) that represents the entry in the speed dial list in Idle
state.
4.1.4 Copy all
You can copy an entry in phone memory to SIM memory, or in SIM memory to phone memory
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contacts) > [4] key (Copy all) in Idle state.
2. To copy from sim card to the phone, press [1] key
To copy from the phone to sim card : Press [2] key
3. Select desired option.
Options : ‘Keep original’ and ‘Move original’ are available
4.1.5 Delete all
You can easily erase all the numbers saved in both SIM memory and phone memory
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contact) >[5] key(Delete all) in Idle state.
2. To delete all in SIM memory, press [1] key
To delete all in phone memory, press [2] key
3. Press [Soft 1] key for ‘Yes’[Soft 2] key for ‘No’
4.1.6 Settings
You can set overall phonebook control. The following setting options are available.
1) Edit groups
Edit the group type of the selected record.
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contact) >[6] key(Setting)>[1] key(Edit Groups) in Idle state.
2. Select a group to change its name

2) Group ring tones
You can choose a ring tone from 10 different ring tones for each group.
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contacts) >[6] key(Setting)> [2] key (Group ring tones) in Idle state.
2. Select a group to change
3. Press [OK] key
4. Select a ring tone for the selected group.
5. Press [OK] key
3) Save contact to :
You can set a default saving location.
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contacts) >[6] key(Setting)>[3] key(Save contact to) in Idle state.
2. Select your desired memory.
3. Press [OK] key
4) Memory status
Your phone identifies the memory use in your SIM card and your phone memory
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [1] key(Contacts) >[6] key(Setting)>[4] key(Memory status) in Idle state.
2. To delete all, Press [Soft 1] key > [Soft 1] key(Yes)
4.2 Messages
In ‘messages’ you can create, send, receive, view, and edit messages.
You can start the ‘message’ menu by pressing [SMS] key, and select the 8 sub-menus ‘New message’, ‘Inbox’,
‘Outbox’, ‘Draft’, ‘Template’, ‘Voice mail’, ‘Cell broadcast’, ‘SMS settings’.
There are 6 icons to help you know what kind of messages you have in your phone.
MESSAGE ICON DESCRIPTION
Indicates a new text message, but haven’t seen yet
Indicates a new voicemail you received, but haven’t seen yet
Indicates there is not any new message now.

Indicates a received message which you’ve already seen
Indicates a message you sent, but it couldn’t be delivered.
Indicates a message you sent successfully.
* The SMS service may not be available on all networks.
4.2.1 New message
You can create a new message as follows.
1. Press [SMS] key > [1] key (New message) in Idle state
2. Write message
Refer to the ‘3.7 Entering & Editing Text’section of this manual for text input.
3. Press [OK] key > [OK] key
4. Enter the phone number > [OK] key
5. To select your desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘Send’, ‘Contacts’, ‘Save’, ‘Save and send’ are available
4.2.2 Inbox
‘Inbox’ is a storage place for received messages.
Your phone can store maximum 200 records for all Message Items in phone memory.
If a message has arrived, your phone displays icon to inform you of the arrival.
You can view the new text messages, by pressing [OK] key on Idle screen, or in this menu.
1. Press [SMS] key > [2] key (Inbox) in Idle state
2. Select a desired message
3. To select your desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘View’, ‘Reply’, ‘Forward’, ‘Save number’, ‘Delete’, and ‘Delete all’ are available
4.2.3 Outbox
‘Outbox’ is a storage place for saved messages which have sent or unsent.
Your phone can store maximum 200 records for all Message Items in phone memory.
1. Press [SMS] key > [3] key (Outbox) in Idle state
2. Select a desired message
3. To select your desired option, press [Soft 1] key.

Options: ‘View’, ‘Send’, ‘Save number’, ‘Delete’, and ‘Delete all’. are available
4.2.4 Draft
‘Draft ’ is a storage place for saved messages to be sent.
Your phone can store maximum 200 records for all Message Items in phone memory.
1. Press [SMS] key > [4] key (Draft) in Idle state
2. Select a desired message.
3. To select a desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘View’, ‘Delete’, and ‘Delete all’. are available
4.2.5 Template
You may add up 10 predefined phrases included in the Templates.
1. Press [SMS] key > [5] key (Template) in Idle state
2. To view details, select a desired phrase.
3. To add, select a desired number.
4. Write a phrase.
5. Press [OK] key
6. To select a desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options: ‘Edit’ ‘Send message’, and ‘Delete’ are available
4.2.6 Voicemail
Your phone also provides ‘Voicemail’ feature.
If a voicemail has arrived, your phone displays icon to inform you of the arrival.
To view a new text message, press [OK] key on Idle screen, or in this menu.
1. Press [SMS] key > [6] key (Voicemail) in Idle state
2. To get voicemails, press [1] key.
Your phone automatically dials to the configured number and be connected.
3. To change the number, press [2] key.
Enter new number, and then press [OK] key
4.2.7 Cell broadcast
This network service allows you to receive the broadcasted text messages on the various topics such as
weather, traffic, local district code, local hospitals in the area where you are.

1. Press [SMS] key > [7] key (Cell broadcast) in Idle state
2. To read a message, press [1] key, and select a desired message
3. To select your preferred language of the broadcasted message, press [2] key.
4. To select the subject item, press [3] key.
5. To set a new broadcasted text message to show on idle screen, press [4] key.
4.2.8 SMS Settings
1) Message centre
1. Press [SMS] key > [8] key (SMS settings) > [1] key (Message centre) in Idle state
2. Enter number only when it is required.
2) Delivery report
1. Press [SMS] key > [8] key (SMS settings) > [2] key(Delivery report) in Idle state
2. Select ‘ON’or ‘OFF’
3) Message validity
1. Press [SMS] key > [8] key (SMS settings) > [3] key(Message validity) in Idle state
2. Select your desired validity period
Options : ‘1 hour’, ‘2 hours’, ‘6 hours’, ‘1 day’, ‘2 days’, ‘1 week’, ’4 weeks’, and ‘6 months’ are available
4) Message format
1. Press [SMS] key > [8] key (SMS settings) > [4] key(Message format) in Idle state
2. Select your desired option.
Options : ‘Text’, ‘Fax’, ‘Voicemail’, ‘ERMES’, ‘Paging’, ‘X.400’and ‘Internet’are available
5) Memory status
Press [SMS] key > [8] key (SMS settings) > [5] key (Memory status) in Idle state.
4.3 Call log
Your phone saves logs of the last 20 received, dialled and missed calls each.
You can also find further details of last call ; date and time of the call made, call duration, call costs and the
phone numbers.
4.3.1 All calls

1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [3] key(Call log) >[1] key(All calls) in Idle state
2. Select your desired call log item
3. To redial the number you select, pick up the hand set, press [Send] key.
4. To select a desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘Details’, ‘Send message’, ‘Save number’, ‘Delete’ and ‘Delete all’ are available
4.3.2 Dialled calls
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [3] key(Call log) >[2] key(Dialled calls) in Idle state
2. Select your desired call log item
3. To redial the number you select, pick up the hand set, press [Send] key.
4. To select a desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘Details’, ‘Send message’, ‘Save number’, ‘Delete’ and ‘Delete all’ are available
4.3.3 Received calls
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [3] key(Call log) >[3] key(Received calls) in Idle state
2. Select your desired call log item
3. To redial the number you select, pick up the hand set, press [Send] key.
4. To select desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘Details’, ‘Send message’, ‘Save number’, ‘Delete’ and ‘Delete all’ are available
4.3.4 Missed calls
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [3] key(Call log) >[4] key(Missed calls) in Idle state
2. Select your desired call log item
3. To redial the number you selected, pick up the hand set, press [Send] key.
4. To select a desired option, press [Soft 1] key.
Options : ‘Details’, ‘Send message’, ‘Save number’, ‘Delete’ and ‘Delete all’ are available
4.3.5 Call costs.
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [3] key(Call log) >[5] key(Call costs) in Idle state
2. You can select one from 5 options
1) Last call 2) All calls. 3) Clear records 4) price & unit 5) maximum cost
4.3.6 Call duration
1. Press [Soft 1] key (Menu)> [3] key(Call log) >[6] key(Call duration) in Idle state
2. Select ‘Last call’or ‘All calls’
