1 Getting Started
1.1 About This Guide
This guide provides programming instru tions for the RTs an 2D Bar oder Readers: RT331. Users an onfigure the
RTs an 2D Bar oder Reader by s anning the programming bar odes in luded in this manual.
1.2 Display the Version of the Bluetooth Base
S anning the following bar ode to display the Bluetooth base version number:

2 Bluetooth Configuration
2.1 Bluetooth Gun Settings
Press and hold the button for 3S, hear the start-up sound, the s anner is turned on.
Connect to the Bluetooth base
S an the pair ode on the Bluetooth base and wait for the onne tion to omplete.
Bluetooth Dock Keyboard Mode
Step 1: S an the onfiguration ode below to begin a new onne tion. The s anner an be sear hed within 120s.
Step 2: The terminal devi e sear hes for the Bluetooth s anner named with the SN serial number, li ks Conne t, and
waits for the onne tion to omplete. The s anner simulates keyboard tapping and outputs data to the host.

2.2 Bluetooth Base Settings
Restoring the factory settings of the base
After s anning the setting ode below, the Bluetooth base will be restored to the fa tory default settings.
2.3 USB HID-KBW
When the Bluetooth do k is onne ted to the host omputer and the devi e using a USB able, the Bluetooth do k an
be enumerated as a HID-keyboard devi e by s anning the following bar ode. In this mode, the base a ts as a plug-and-
play devi e, simulating keyboard taps to output data to the host.
