End of Sale/End of Life for 24 Port RJ11 Breakout Block
The 24 Port RJ11 Breakout Block (Part Number 520-0027-00) is being discontinued.
This product will be replaced by the new 8 port RJ11 adaptor, or the 24 port or the 48
port RJ11 patch panels.
The last day to order 24 port breakout blocks will be June 30, 2005.
End of Sale and End of Life
This document outlines the End of Sale (EoS) and End of Life (EoL) plan for the 24 Port
RJ11 Breakout Block (Part Number 520-0027-00)
The reason for this EoL notice is the introduction of the new 8 Port RJ11 Adaptor (Part
Number 501-0169-00), the new 24 Port RJ11 Patch Panel (Part Number 501-00170-00),
and the new 48 Port RJ11 Patch Panel (Part Number 501-0171-00). These products
offer a greater choice of termination configuration options to better meet the needs of our
customers.
Recommended Product Migration
The recommended replacements for the 24 Port RJ11 Breakout Block are shown in the
table below -

The 8 Port RJ11 Adaptor Unit mounts directly to the 50 pin Telco connectors on the rear
panel of the Tenor AX Series. The 24 Port and 48 Port Patch panels are 1U high rack
mounting devices that are connected to the 50 pin Telco connectors on the rear of the
Tenor AX Series using 50 pin Telco to 50 pin Telco cables which must be ordered
separately.
