Multi Device Wireless Connectivity - The

Qwerkywriter S® can be connected to multiple

wireless devices at the same time� So now you

can have a mobile phone, a tablet, and a laptop

all connected wirelessly to the Qwerkywriter S®�

Wired USB mode with NKRO support - This

is a fancy way of saying that in wired USB

mode, Qwerkywriter S® can perform at the

highest levels without dropping letters or

strokes�

Dual Scroll Knob Encoders - The

Qwerkywriter S® features dual function scroll

knobs that control Volume on the left knob

and Mouse Scroll on the right knob� *Vertical

Scrolling on iOS is not supported at this time.

Mechanical Switches - The New

Qwerkywriter S® now uses the famed Cherry™

MX“clicky”switches for that ultimate tactile

feedback experience�

Integrated Tablet Stand - The Qwerkywriter

S® has a built in integrated tablet stand that

can accommodate comfortably up to 10�5 inch

screens� It can also accommodate most 12 inch

tablets as long as it’s less than 5/8 inch thick�

Macro Return bar - The Qwerkywriter S®

signature all metal macro programmable return

bar defaults to the“enter” key but you can

program up to 16 characters to generate short

signatures and more�

New Scratch Resistant All Aluminum

Chassis - The Qwerkywriter S® chassis is

constructed entirely out of a new scratch

resistant aluminum alloy for an incredible feel of

quality and durability�

Typewriter Inspired Keycaps - The beautiful,

typewriter inspired 2 piece keycaps of the

Qwerkywriter S® has numerous improvements,

including better stability and automotive grade

electroplating�

Functions

Multimedia Function for MacOS, WIN10/8/7, iOS, Android:

• FN+F1: Decrease Volume

• FN+F2: Increase Volume

• FN+F3: Previous Track

• FN+F4: Play/Pause

• FN+F5: Next Track

• FN+F12: Home Key (iOS & Android only)

Sleep Timer Settings

• FN+F8: Sets battery sleep timer to 10 Minutes

• FN+F9: Sets battery sleep timer to 20 Minutes

• FN+F10: Sets battery sleep timer to 30 Minutes

• FN+F11: Disables battery sleep (not recommended)

Some iOS devices due to its internal power saving features will override our sleep

settings to 1 minute.

Simply tap any key to wake from sleep.

For users who wants to touch type and bypass sleep altogether, we recommend

connecting via USB using a USB to Lightning cable. The Qwerkywriter S® will now be in

USB mode without ever sleeping and will also type noticeably faster without any latency.

Default Setting for F keys on MacOS and iOS:

• F1: Decrease brightness

• F2: Increase brightness

• F7: Last track

• F8: Play/pause

• F9: Next track

• F10: Mute

• F11: Decrease volume

• F12: Increase volume

Battery Charge Indication

The Qwerkywriter S® internal battery will fully charge after 2-3 hours� The charge should

last up to 2-3 weeks of normal use� We recommend plugging the Qwerkywriter via

USB directly to a computer USB port or a suciently powered USB hub� The internal

battery should last years but is user serviceable via battery panel on the bottom of the

Qwerkywriter S®�

• Battery LED will ash if the internal battery is failing or is not properly

connected.

• Battery LED will stay on when charging.

• Battery LED will turn o when fully charged.

The corresponding Bluetooth LED will ash when the battery is low.

Return Bar

Return Bar function

• Return Bar is set to the ENTER key

by default.

• Record up to 16 characters

• You can record modier keys

(i.e ctrl+v).

To record your Macro, Press FN + Return Bar and the USB LED will ash. Record your

characters up to 15 characters. Then Press FN+Return Bar again.

In order to restore the Return Bar to Default, simply record the ENTER key to set the

Return Bar to its original default state� For further detailed instructions, please see the

Scroll Knob function:

• Left Knob is set to Volume.

• Right Knob controls the vertical window scroll.

You can swap this function between each knob by pressing FN+W�

*Vertical Scrolling on iOS is not supported�

USB/Multi Device Bluetooth Toggle Button

Press USB/BT button to switch the mode between USB mode and Multi Device

Bluetooth� In USB mode, you can press the USB/BT TOGGLE Button to switch from USB

mode to Bluetooth� The Bluetooth device LED will ash three times� If no device is

connected, the Bluetooth LED will not be on� The Bluetooth LED will be on if you have a

paired and connected device�

In Bluetooth mode, you can press USB/BT TOGGLE button to switch from Bluetooth

mode to USB mode� The USB LED will turn on, indicating that you are now in USB mode

as long as the Qwerkywriter S® is actually connected to a device via USB� For further

Bluetooth Device Selection and Connection

The Qwerkywriter S® can connect up to 3 Bluetooth devices� You can switch from device

to device by pressing FN+1 for BT device 1, FN+2 is device 2, FN+3 is device 3� Pair the

Qwerkywriter S® to the device of your choice per FN+1, FN+2, FN+3 and you can toggle

Nkey/6key function

This NKRO and 6key function is available in both USB and Bluetooth Mode� To enable 6

keys, anti-ghost function, press FN+PGUP� FN+PGDN will activate NKRO function (you

will see the N LED light up when in NKRO mode�

12 Months Limited Warranty

Qwerkytoys, Inc� (“Qwerkytoys”) warrants only to the original purchaser of this product,

when purchased from Qwerkytoys or an authorized reseller/distributor, that this

product will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use

and service for the length of the warranty period after purchase� Qwerkytoys reserves

the right, before having any obligation under this warranty, to inspect the damaged

Qwerkytoys product� Initial shipping costs of sending the product to the Qwerkytoys

service center in Walnut Creek, California, for inspection shall be borne solely by the

purchaser� In order to keep this warranty in eect, the product must not have been

mishandled or misused in any way�

This warranty does not cover any damage due to normal wear and tear, defects or

damage caused by misuse, accident (including without limitation collision, re and

the spillage of food or liquid), negligence, modication, improper and unauthorized

repair, installation, wiring, or testing, improper storage, use in an unapproved device

or if the serial number has been removed� Please retain the dated sales receipt

as evidence of the original purchaser & date of purchase� You will need it for any

warranty service� In order to claim under this warranty, purchaser must make claim to

Qwerkytoys and obtain an RMA # which is to be used within 15 days of issuance and

must present acceptable proof of original ownership (such as original receipt) for the

product� Qwerkytoys, at its option, shall repair or replace the defective unit covered by

this warranty� This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to any purchaser

who bought the product from a reseller or distributor not authorized by Qwerkytoys,

including but not limited to purchases from internet auction sites� This warranty does

not aect any other legal rights you may have by operation of the law�

Warranty Service

In the event that warranty repair or replacement is necessary, please provide proof of

purchase (order number and/or online receipt) in order to receive warranty service�

Within the rst 30 days after purchase, please return your product to the reseller (if not

from Qwerkytoys�com) for a replacement� If the product is still within warranty and you

can no longer return it to your dealer, please contact Customer Support for assistance

and instructions� Qwerkytoys will not accept returns without prior approval and an RMA

number�
