KOMPATIBILITÄTSLISTE
BITTE BEACHTEN:
-Der Einbau des Radical-Geräts sollte von einem autorisierten Fachhändler durchgeführt werden.
Zur Montage werden spezifische Kenntnisse und Werkzeuge benötigt. Unsachgemässer Einbau
kann zu Schäden am Fahrzeug und am Radical-Geräts führen.
HINWEIS:
-Der i30 wird in drei verschiedenen Fahrzeugvarianten angeboten, Schrägheck, Kombi und
Limousine, welche jeweils mit identischen Werksradio oder Navigationssystem ausgestattet sind.
- Die Hyundai Modellinien „Pure“ und „Select“ können direkt mit demR-C11HY1 upgegradet
werden.
-Die Hyundai i30 Fahrzeugmodelllinien “Premium”, “YES!” und “YES! Plus” beinhalten bereits ein
DAB Radio bzw. ein Radionavigationssystem mit Rückfahrkamera ab Werk.
-Die Hyundai i30 Fahrzeugmodelllinien “Trend” und “N Line” sind gegen Aufpreis mit dem
optionalen Radionavigationssystem ausgestattet.

EINBAUBEISPIEL HYUNDAI i30
DEMONTAGE UND VORBEREITUNG:
1. Nehmen Sie den Kunststoffgriff (10) und
schieben Sie ihn, mit der nötigen Kraft und
Vorsicht, in das Seiten-Panel und
entfernen dieses.
2. Lösen Sie die rot markierte Schraube im
Seitenpanel, unterfüttern Sie mit dem
Kunststoffgriff (10) die längliche
Kunststoffabdeckung unterhalb der Lüftung
und hebeln diese Komplett heraus.
3. Lösen sie die komplette Abdeckung
ganzseitig und nehmen Sie sie aus der
Konsole heraus.

4. Entfernen Sie den Klimaregler, hier
unten im Bild, aus der Einbauschacht.
Achten Sie dabei bitte auf den in Rot
markierten Kabelstrang.
5. Als nächstes entfernen Sie die
Lüftungsbuchsen und ziehen sie vorsichtig
aus der Halterung heraus.
6. Nun entfernen Sie anschliessend die mit
der Mittelkonsole abschliessenden
Abdeckung vom Original-Radio.

7. Blick von oben: Lösen Sie die in rot
markierten Schrauben, die das Radio mit
der oberen Halterung verbinden.
8. Blick von unten: Entfernen Sie nun
symmetrisch zu 7. noch die zwei unteren
mit dem Original-Radio befestigten
Schrauben.
9. Zuletzt ziehen Sie das Radio vorsichtig
aus dem Schacht. Anschliessend lösen Sie
alle hier dargestellten Kabel-
Steckverbindungen.

INSTALLATION
1. Montieren Sie die GPS-Antenne (Nr. 2)
an einer geeigneten Stelle und achten Sie
darauf, dass der GPS-Empfang nicht durch
die Abschattung von metallischen
Fahrzeugteilen negativ beeinflusst wird
(Wärmeschutzverglasung etc.). Verlegen
Sie das Anschlusskabel anschließend in
den Radioschacht.
2. Verlegen Sie die USB-
Verlängerungskabel (Nr. 5, 6) vom
Radioschacht an die von Ihnen
gewünschte Stelle.
3. Verbinden Sie das jeweilige
Hauptanschlusskabel (Nr. 11) des Radical-
Geräts (Nr. 1) mit dem Stecker des
Fahrzeugs und schließen Sie den
Verriegelungsmechanismus des Steckers.
Verbinden Sie anschließend das CAN-BUS
Interface (Nr. 12) mit dem
Hauptanschlusskabel. Verbinden Sie alle
zuvor in den Radioschacht verlegten Kabel
und die originalen Antennenkabel mit dem
Radical-Gerät (Nr. 1).

4. Setzten Sie alle Bauteile, die sie zuvor
entfernt haben in umgekehrter Reihenfolge
wieder zusammen.
Der Einbau des R-C11HY1isthiermit
beendet.

DAB-Antenne
Verlegen Sie das Antennenkabel an der A-Säule herab im Armaturenbrett entlang in den
Radioschacht.

COMPATIBILITY LIST
PLEASE NOTE:
-The installation of the Radical device should be carried out by an authorized installer. Specific
knowledge and tools are required to do the installation. Incorrect installation can cause damage to
the vehicle and the Radical device.
CAUTION:
-The i30 is offered in three versions, hatchback, station wagon and fastback which are equipped
with identical radio or sat nav systems.
- The model lines “Pure” and “Select” allow device retrofitting with R-C11HY1.
- The Hyundai i30 model lines “Trend” and “N Line” can be purchased with optional GPS sat nav
system against upcharge.
-The Hyundai i30 model lines “Premium”, “YES!” and “YES! Plus” already feature DAB radio, or
even GPS sat nav function incl. a reversing camera system ex works.
-The Hyundai i30 model lines “Trend” and “N Line” may be equipped with optional GPS sat nav.

EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION HYUNDAI i30
REMOVAL WORK AND PREPARATION:
1 Take the plastic handle (10) and push it
into the side panel with the necessary force
and caution and remove it.
2 Loosen the red marked screw in the side
panel, underlay the elongated plastic cover
under the ventilation with the plastic handle
(10) and pry it out completely.

3 Undo the complete cover and remove it
from the console.
4 Remove the climate controller from the
bay below, here in the picture. Pay
attention to the cable harness marked in
red.
5 Next, remove the vent and gently pull it
out of the holder.

Now remove the cover with the center
console from the original radio.
7 View from above: Loosen the screws
marked in red which connect the radio to
the upper bracket.
8 View from below: Now remove
symmetrically to 7. the two lower screws
attached to the original radio.

9. Lastly, carefully pull the radio out of the
slot. Then loosen all the cable connectors
shown here.

INSTALLATION
1. Mount the GPS antenna (No. 2) in a
suitable place and make sure that the GPS
reception is not adversely affected by the
shading of metallic parts of the vehicle (heat
insulation glazing, etc.). Then lay the
connecting cable in the radio shaft.
2. Route the USB extension cables (# 5, 6)
from the radio bay to your desired location.
3. Connect the respective main connection
cable (# 11) of the Radical device (# 1) to the
plug of the vehicle and close the locking
mechanism of the connector. Then connect
the CAN-BUS interface (No. 12) to the main
connection cable. Connect all cables
previously routed in the radio slot and the
original antenna cables to the Radical unit (#
1).

4. Reassemble all components previously
removed in the reverse order.
The installation of the R-C11HY1 ishereby
finished.

DAB antenna
Route the antenna cable downwards along the A-pillar, along the dashboard and into the
radio bay.
