Chapter 1 Product Introduction
1.1
Product overview
Soil Sensor with Portable Handheld Display Terminal developed and designed by
our company adopts the latest digital integrated circuit technology and international
detection technology, and designs and integrates a new type of intelligent handheld
detector. The recorder uses a large-size full-color LCD display that can display the
readings in real time. At the same time, it uses a detection circuit designed by a digital
chip from an international manufacturer, which can achieve very high sensitivity and
excellent repeatability. And the soil integrates storage, recording and analysis, and
can be flexibly connected to the company's soil nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
sensors, soil electrical conductivity, soil temperature and humidity and other
equipment to achieve the measurement of various soil parameters.
The Soil Sensor with Portable is widely used in the detection of soil pH, dry
farming and water-saving irrigation, precision agriculture, forestry, geological
prospecting, plant cultivation, water conservancy, environmental protection and
other fields, as well as the measurement of various particulate matter pH.
1.2

Sensor connection equipment
First take out the aviation plug wire, connect the outlet wire of the soil equipment
to the connector of the push-type two-in-two-out wire at the bottom of the
connector line. The line sequence corresponds to the color: brown-brown, black-
black, yellow-yellow, blue-blue color.(If multiple soil sensors are connected at the
same time, the soil sensors need to be connected in parallel with the push-type two-
in-two-out wire butt connector, and up to 4 soil sensors can be connected at the
same time), and finally connect the male connector of the air plug cable. The
terminal is connected with the aviation plug of the Soil Sensor with Portable.

Terminal instructions
2.4.1 Quick test method
Select a suitable measurement location, avoid rocks, ensure that the steel
needle does not touch hard objects, throw away the surface soil according to the
required measurement depth, maintain the original tightness of the soil below, hold
the sensor vertically and insert it into the soil. Do not shake left and right. It is
recommended to measure multiple times to find the average value within a small
range of a measuring point.
2.4.1 Buried measurement method
Dig a pit with a diameter of >20cm vertically, insert the sensor needle
horizontally into the pit wall at a predetermined depth, and fill the pit tightly. After a
period of stability, measurement and recording can be carried out for several days,
months or even longer.
