TAPE CARE
Do not expose yourcassettes to directsunlightor

warp the cassette shellor damage the tape itself.
Keep your cassettes intheirboxes when they are
not inthe cassette player/recorder. This keeps
dustfrom entering the cassette shells.
Yourtape can be erased by magnetic fieldspro-
duced by permanent magnets, electric motors,
electric transformers, and other devices. Keep
tapes away from magnets and magneticfields.
Wind the tape to one end before removingitfrom
yourcessette player/recorder. When it isfully wound,
only the tape leader will be visible, not the tape
itself. Avoid touching either tape or leader. Even
the naturaloilson your handscan damage a tape.
If oils become deposited on the tape transport
mechanismof your cassette player/reoorder,they
could contaminate othertapes.
If a tape isaccidentally pulledfrom a cassette,
insertthetapered end of a largepencil or similar
object intothe center of thetape hub and gently
windthe tape back into the cassette. Be careful
not to twist or wrinklethe tape. Care shouldbe
takenthatallexcesstape iswoundintothe cassette
