The TruFlat™Tube Difference
TruFlat models reduce the reflected image field by greater than 60% compared
with standard tubes, while allowing a totally visible screen, even when viewed
off-axis. This means placing the television in your home just became easier.
Viewers sitting off-angle now see less reflection, less glare, and all viewers have
a wider viewing angle allowing the entire screen to be seen.
Using specialized phosphors and improved circuitry, detail clarity with any TruFlat
model, particularly with DVD images, adds on-screen realism. Combined with

TruFlat™Engineering Performance
RCA engineers developed an extensive
quality control and evaluation program
for the new TruFlat models. Using RCA
worldwide research and development
personnel, a new comprehensive test
program was developed for each
TruFlat model. As further support for
the quality, a limited one year parts
and labor warranty* is provided with
all TruFlat models, 20" and larger.

Convenience
• 6-Head System
Four video recording and pick-up
heads on a single head drum
provide improved special effect
performance. With the new SFX
design, you can visually pause
on the tape at any speed, and
slow-motion effects are clearer
and more jitter-free. Two
additional AFM audio heads
allow Stereo Hi-Fi recording
and playback. The combination
of six heads allows full theatre
video and audio, and allows
full stereo performance copying
from all high-level consumer
and professional camcorders.
Using a T-160 tape, up to eight
hours of stereophonic audio
can be recorded for extended
playback, or six hours with any
standard T-120 VHS tape.

Programmable Timer
The built-in timer memory
can be preset up to one
month in advance to record
as many as eight different
programs automatically.

Simply inserting a cassette in
the VCR turns it on (Auto
Power On). When a prerecorded
cassette is inserted in the VCR,
it automatically starts to play
(Auto Play). When the end of
the tape is reached, Auto Rewind
automatically rewinds the tape.
