SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings and the instructions.
Failure to follow the safety warnings and the instructions may result in electric shock,
fire and/or serious injury.

The term „power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or
battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

Disconnect power tool from its power source before maintenance, cleaning or
any intervention on product; or when you do not use product.
Disconnect battery charger power cord if cord or extension cord is damaged or
cut during operation. Unplug charger by pulling the plug. Do not pull the cord.
Do not dispose of the product in unsuitable containers.
Separate collection for Li-ion battery.
The product is in accordance with the applicable safety standards in the
European directives.

General power tool safety warnings
1. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
Never allow children to operate the power tool.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the power tool.
Electrical safety
Before connecting the power tool to power supply socket, make sure the voltage
indicated on the power tool corresponds to the voltage in the power supply socket.
1. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
2. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed or grounded.

3. Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will
increase the risk of electric shock.
4. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged
or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
5. In case of power cord damage, replace it only in an authorized service point.
6. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
7. If there is a need to use an extension cord, pay attention to the appropriate material
and cross-sectional area. Inappropriate extension cord may cause a drop in line
voltage resulting in loss of power and overheating.
8. If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a
power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools
may result in serious personal injury.
2. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection
used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
3. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the o-position before
connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the power
tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that
have the switch on invites accidents.
4. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench
or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better
control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
7. If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities,
ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce
dust-related hazards.
Power tool use and care
1. Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The
correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rated speed for which it was
designed.
2. Do not leave the power tool unattended when it’s working.
3. Use auxiliary handle(s) if supplied with the power tool. Loss of control can cause
personal injury.
4. Keep handles and grips dry, clean and free from oil and grease.

5. Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an operation
where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Cutting
accessory contacting a “live” wire may make exposed metal parts of the power tool
“live” and could give the operator an electric shock.
6. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and o. Any power tool
that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
7. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power
tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
8. This power tool may be used by children who are above 8 years old and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, if they are supervised and guided by a person who is responsible for
their safety in a cautious manner for all the safety precautions being understood
and followed.
9. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar
with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are
dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
10. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage
of parts and any other condition that may aect the power tool’s operation. If
damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
11. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp
cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
12. Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the power tool for operations dierent from those intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
Service
1. Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
Additional safety warnings for angle grinders
• Use appropriate detectors to determine if utility lines are hidden in the work area
or call the local utility company for assistance. Contact with electric lines can lead
to fire and electric shock. Damaging a gas line can lead to explosion. Penetrating a
water line causes property damage or electric shock.
• Use only wheel types and wheel guards that are recommended for the power tool.
Wheels not intended for a particular power tool cannot be protected enough and
therefore are not safe.
• Do not use accessories which are not specifically designed and recommended by
the power tool’s manufacturer. Use of any other accessories pose a hazard of serious
injury and damage to the power tool. It is not because an accessory can be attached
to your tool; that it can assure safe operation. The accessories must meet specific
requirements:

• The rated speed of the accessory must be at least equal to the maximum speed
marked on the power tool. Accessories operated faster than their rated speed
can break and fly apart.
• Diameter and thickness of the wheel must be appropriate for the power tool.
Incorrectly sized accessories cannot be adequately guarded or controlled.
• Mounting of the wheels, flanges or other accessories must match the spindle
thread of the angle grinder. Accessories that do not match the mounting hardware
of the power tool are likely to run out of balance; vibrate and are likely to cause
loss of control.
• Do not cut workpiece with diameter greater than the maximum cut depth of the
cut-o wheel.
• Keep the power cord away from the spinning wheel. If you loose control, the power
cord may be cut or snagged and your hand or arm may be pulled into the spinning
wheel.
• Inspect workpiece for any nails and remove them before operation.
• Check for proper clearance beyond he workpiece before cutting so that the wheel will
not strike the floor, workbench etc.
• Hold the power tool with a firm grip with both hands (if possible) and keep a good
balance. The power tool is best guided with both hands. A strong torque reaction may
occur if a wheel gets locked.
• Secure the workpiece. Never hold the workpiece in your hand or across your legs
or against your body. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held
more secure than by hand. An unstable workpiece can cause loss of control of the tool
and/or injury.
• Keep hands away from the working range. Do not reach under the workpiece. Contact
with the wheel can lead to injuries.
• Apply the power tool to the workpiece only when switched on. Otherwise there is
danger of kickback when the wheel jams in the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure on the power tool.
• Do not apply side pressure on the wheel.
• Avoid areas in front and behind the spinning wheel. When a cut-o wheel is moved
onto a workpiece away from the operator, it may cause the power tool to kick back as a
result of recoil, with a rotating cuto wheel pointing directly towards the operator.
• The wheel guard must be properly fitted to the power tool. The wheel guard must
be positioned so that it protects the operator against chips, accidental contact with the
wheel and sparks which may set clothing on fire.
• If the guard is not operating properly, it must be repaired in an authorized service
point before any further use of the power tool.
• ALWAYS use the wheel intended for recommended application (for example: do not
grind with the wheel intended for cutting) and the material of the workpiece.
• Do not use damaged wheels. Prior to each use, inspect for any chips and cracks. If
any of these are found, replace the wheel with a new one.
• Before switching on the power tool, check if the wheel is correctly fitted, can spin
freely and does not catch the guard.
• Avoid touching the wheel just after use as it may be hot. Similarly, when removing
the accessory from the spindle, wear protective gloves to grasp it. Wheel may be hot
after prolonged use. Avoid contact with skin. Burn hazard.

• Do not run the power tool while carrying it at your side. Accidental contact with the
accessory could snag your clothing, pulling the accessory into your body.
• If the power tool has been dropped, check for any signs of damage. In the event of
such damage being found, replace damaged parts.
• Avoid touching the workpiece just after use, as it may be hot. Always wear protective
gloves.
• Always wait until the wheel has come to a complete stop before placing down the
power tool.
• Regularly clean the power tool’s air vents. The motor’s fan will draw the dust inside the
housing and excessive accumulation of dust may cause electrical hazards.
• Some materials may contain chemicals that can be toxic. Avoid inhalation of dust and
any contact with the skin.
Kickback and related warnings
Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched or snagged moving accessory. Pinching or
snagging causes rapid stalling of the cutting accessory which in turn causes the uncontrolled
power tool to be forced in the direction opposite of the accessory’s rotation at the point of
the binding.
For example, if a wheel is snagged or pinched by the workpiece, the edge of the wheel that
is entering into the pinch point can dig into the surface of the material causing the wheel
to climb out or kick out. The wheel may either jump towards or away from the operator,
depending on direction of the wheel’s movement at the point of pinching.
Kickback is the result of power tool misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or
conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below:
• Maintain a firm grip on the power tool and position your body and arms to allow
you to resist kickback forces. Always use auxiliary handle, if provided, for maximum
control over kickback or torque reaction during start-up. The operator can control
torque reactions or kickback forces, if proper precautions are taken.
• Never place your hand near the moving accessory. The accessory may kickback over
your hand.
• Do not position your body in the area where the power tool will move if kickback
occurs. Kickback will propel the power tool in the direction opposite to the wheel’s
movement at the point of snagging.
• Use special care when working corners, sharp edges, etc. Avoid bouncing and
snagging the accessory. Corners, sharp edges or bouncing have a tendency to snag
the rotating accessory and cause loss of control or kickback.
Residual risks
Even when the power tool is used as prescribed it is not possible to eliminate all residual risk
factors. The following hazards may arise in connection with the power tool’s construction
and design:
• Damage to lungs if a dust mask is not worn.
• Damage to hearing if hearing protection is not worn.
• Health defects resulting from vibration emission if the power tool is being used over
longer period of time or not adequately managed and properly maintained.
• Injuries and damage to property to due to broken accessories that are suddenly dashed.

consult their physician and the medical implant manufacturer before operating this power

This angle grinder is intended for cutting and grinding various materials provided that the
wheel matches the material of the workpiece. Do not use this angle grinder for polishing.
Use the power tool for its intended purpose only. Any other use is deemed to be a case
of misuse. The user/owner of this power tool, not the producer, is responsible for any
damages or injuries caused by improper handling of this power tool.

Vibration level
The vibration emission level stated in this instruction manual has been measured in
accordance with a standardized test given in EN 60745; it may be used to compare one
power tool with another and as a preliminary assessment of exposure to vibration when
using the power tool for the applications mentioned.
• Using the power tool for dierent applications, or with dierent or poorly maintained
accessories, may significantly increase the exposure level.
• The times when the power tool is switched o or when it is running but not actually
doing the job, may significantly reduce the exposure level. Identify additional safety
measures to protect the operator from the eects of vibration such as: maintain the
power tool and the accessories, keep the hands warm, organization of work patterns.

OPERATION
WARNING. Switch o the angle grinder and disconnect it from power supply before
assembly or adjustment.
Fitting the side handle
WARNING. Always use the angle grinder with the side handle attached.
There are two mounting holes on the left and right side of the power tool head. Use them
to attach the side handle. To fit the side handle (7), maximally screw it into the desired
mounting hole.
Operate the angle grinder with both hands. Side handle provides firm grip and the risk of
touching the spinning wheel and injury during kickback is minimized.
Fitting the wheel guard
WARNING. Fit the wheel guard prior to each use. Do not use the angle grinder without
the wheel guard attached!
Position of the wheel guard can be adjusted. This feature allows using the angle grinder
at various angles with maintaining proper protection against flying broken pieces and
accidental contact with a wheel or sparks. It should be fitted so that its covering part faces
the operator whereas the uncovered part faces the workpiece.
To fit the wheel guard (8) follow the below instructions:
•Place the angle grinder upside down on a workbench.
•Put the wheel guard on the spindle so that the notches in the guard fit the protrusions
on the spindle.
•Adjust the position of the guard so that its covering part faces the operator.
•Tighten the screw with the hex wrench.
Fitting and removing wheels
WARNING. Cut-o wheel included in the set is intended exclusively for cutting metal.
ALWAYS use the wheel intended for recommended application (for example: do not grind
with the wheel intended for cutting) and the material of the workpiece.
Use wheels with appropriate diameter and mounting hole size (see Information about the
power tool).
To fit the wheel follow the below instructions:
•Make sure the angle grinder is disconnected from power supply.
•Place the angle grinder upside down on a workbench.
•Make sure the wheel guard is properly attached to the power tool.
•Place the inner flange on the spindle.
•Place the wheel on the inner flange.
•Place the lock nut on the wheel so that its flat surface adheres to the wheel.

• Hold the spindle lock button (1) pressed and tighten the lock nut with the key included
in the set.
• Make sure that the lock nut has been attached properly and the wheel adheres to the
inner flange.
To remove the wheel follow the below instructions:
• Keep pressing the spindle lock button and unscrew the lock nut with the key included
in set.
• Remove the lock nut and the wheel.
Switching the power tool on and o
WARNING. Prior to each use, check if the power tool is fully functional and the wheel has
no signs of damage.
• Slide the ON/OFF switch (6) forward to switch on the power tool.
• Slide the ON/OFF switch (6) backward to switch o the power tool.
MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning and maintenance, always switch o the power tool and disconnect
it from power supply socket.
Clean the casing regularly with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Make sure that the
ventilation openings are free of dust and dirt. Remove very persistent dirt using a soft cloth
moistened with soapsuds. Do not use any solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, ammonia, etc.
Chemicals such as these will damage the synthetic components.
Clean the power tool before storing. Store the power tool, user manual and accessories
in the original packaging. Store the product in a clean, dry place protected from moist and
keep it out of the reach of children. Do not store the power tool in temperatures below 0°C.
Do not place or store any object on the top of the power tool.

1. Τα βύσματα ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου πρέπει να ταιριάζουν με την πρίζα. Ποτέ

2. Αποφύγετε την επαφή του σώματος με γειωμένες ή γειωμένες επιφάνειες, όπως
σωλήνες, θερμαντικά σώματα, εύρος και ψυγεία. Υπάρχει αυξημένος κίνδυνος
ηλεκτροπληξίας εάν το σώμα σας είναι γειωμένο ή γειωμένο.

5. Σε περίπτωση βλάβης του καλωδίου τροφοδοσίας, αντικαταστήστε το μόνο σε
εξουσιοδοτημένο σημείο σέρβις.
6. Όταν χρησιμοποιείτε ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο σε εξωτερικούς χώρους, χρησιμοποιήστε
ένα καλώδιο προέκτασης κατάλληλο για εξωτερική χρήση. Η χρήση καλωδίου
κατάλληλου για εξωτερική χρήση μειώνει τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπληξίας.
7. Εάν υπάρχει ανάγκη να χρησιμοποιήσετε ένα καλώδιο προέκτασης, προσέξτε, και
επιλέξτε το κατάλληλο υλικό και την περιοχή της διατομής. Το ακατάλληλο καλώδιο
προέκτασης μπορεί να προκαλέσει πτώση της τάσης γραμμής, με αποτέλεσμα
απώλεια ισχύος και υπερθέρμανση.
8. Εάν η χρήση ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου σε υγρή θέση είναι αναπόφευκτη,
χρησιμοποιήστε προστατευμένη τροφοδοσία συσκευής ρεύματος υπολειπόμενου
ρεύματος (RCD). Η χρήση ενός RCD μειώνει τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπληξίας.

Προσωπική ασφάλεια
1. Να είστε προσεκτικοί, προσέξτε τι κάνετε και χρησιμοποιήστε την κοινή λογική όταν
χειρίζεστε ένα ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο όταν
είστε κουρασμένοι ή υπό την επήρεια ναρκωτικών, οινοπνεύματος ή φαρμάκων.
Μια στιγμή έλλειψης προσοχής κατά τη λειτουργία ηλεκτρικών εργαλείων μπορεί να
προκαλέσει σοβαρούς τραυματισμούς.
2. Χρησιμοποιείτε ατομικό προστατευτικό εξοπλισμό. Να φοράτε πάντα προστασία
ματιών. Ο προστατευτικός εξοπλισμός, όπως η μάσκα σκόνης, τα παπούτσια
ασφαλείας χωρίς συγκόλληση, το σκληρό καπέλο ή η προστασία της ακοής που
χρησιμοποιούνται για τις κατάλληλες συνθήκες, θα μειώσουν τους τραυματισμούς.
3. Αποτρέψτε την ακούσια εκκίνηση. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο διακόπτης είναι στη θέση
εκτός λειτουργίας πριν συνδέσετε την πηγή τροφοδοσίας ή / και την μπαταρία,
παραλάβετε ή μεταφέρετε το εργαλείο. Μεταφέροντας ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία με
το δάκτυλό σας στο διακόπτη ή ενεργοποιώντας ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία που έχουν το
διακόπτη ενεργοποιεί ατυχήματα.
4. Αφαιρέστε οποιοδήποτε ρυθμιστικό κλειδί ή κλειδί πριν ενεργοποιήσετε το
εργαλείο. Ένα κλειδί ή ένα κλειδί που είναι συνδεδεμένο με ένα περιστρεφόμενο
τμήμα του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου μπορεί να προκαλέσει τραυματισμό.

7. Εάν υπάρχουν συσκευές για τη σύνδεση των εγκαταστάσεων συλλογής και

3. Χρησιμοποιήστε βοηθητικές χειρολαβές εάν παρέχονται μαζί με το ηλεκτρικό
εργαλείο. Η απώλεια ελέγχου μπορεί να προκαλέσει τραυματισμό.
4. Κρατήστε τα χερούλια και τις χειρολαβές στεγνά, καθαρά και απαλλαγμένα από
λάδια και λίπη.
5. Κρατήστε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο από μονωμένες επιφάνειες πιασίματος, όταν
εκτελείτε μια εργασία όπου το εξάρτημα κοπής μπορεί να έρθει σε επαφή με κρυφές
καλωδιώσεις ή με το δικό του καλώδιο. Το κόψιμο εξαρτημάτων που έρχονται σε
επαφή με ένα „ζωντανό” σύρμα μπορεί να κάνει τα εκτεθειμένα μεταλλικά μέρη
του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου „ζωντανά” και να προκαλέσουν ηλεκτροπληξία στον
χειριστή.
6. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο εάν ο διακόπτης δεν το ενεργοποιεί και
δεν το σβήνει. Κάθε ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο που δεν μπορεί να ελεγχθεί με το διακόπτη
είναι επικίνδυνο και πρέπει να επισκευαστεί.

7. Αποσυνδέστε το βύσμα από την πηγή τροφοδοσίας ή / και τη μπαταρία από
το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο προτού προβείτε σε ρυθμίσεις, αλλάξετε αξεσουάρ ή
αποθηκεύσετε ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία. Αυτά τα προληπτικά μέτρα ασφαλείας μειώνουν
τον κίνδυνο εκκίνησης του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου τυχαία.
8. Το εργαλείο αυτό μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από παιδιά ηλικίας άνω των 8 ετών
και από άτομα με μειωμένες σωματικές, αισθητηριακές ή πνευματικές ικανότητες
ή από έλλειψη εμπειρίας και γνώσης, εφόσον επιβλέπονται και καθοδηγούνται
από άτομο που είναι υπεύθυνο για την ασφάλειά τους με προσεκτικό τρόπο για να
κατανοηθούν και να ακολουθηθούν όλες οι προφυλάξεις ασφαλείας.
9. Αποθηκεύετε τα αδρανειακά εργαλεία ηλεκτρικού ρεύματος μακριά από παιδιά και
μην επιτρέπετε σε άτομα που δεν είναι εξοικειωμένα με το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο ή
αυτές τις οδηγίες να χειρίζονται το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο. Τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία είναι
επικίνδυνα στα χέρια μη εκπαιδευμένων χρηστών.
10. Διατηρείτε τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία. Ελέγξτε για κακή ευθυγράμμιση ή σύνδεση
κινητών εξαρτημάτων, θραύση εξαρτημάτων και οποιαδήποτε άλλη κατάσταση
που μπορεί να επηρεάσει τη λειτουργία του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου. Εάν έχει υποστεί

οφείλονται σε ελαττωματικά συντηρημένα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία.
11. Κρατήστε τα εργαλεία κοπής αιχμηρά και καθαρά. Τα σωστά συντηρημένα εργαλεία
κοπής με αιχμηρές ακμές κοπής είναι λιγότερο πιθανό να δεσμεύονται και είναι
ευκολότερο να ελέγχονται.
12. Χρησιμοποιήστε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο, τα εξαρτήματα και τα εξαρτήματα
εργαλείων κλπ. σύμφωνα με αυτές τις οδηγίες, λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τις συνθήκες

Πρόσθετες προειδοποιήσεις ασφαλείας για γωνιακούς
λειαντήρες
• Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο τύπους τροχών και προστατευτικά τροχών που συνιστώνται
για το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο. Οι τροχοί που δεν προορίζονται για ένα συγκεκριμένο
ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο δεν μπορούν να προστατευθούν επαρκώς και ως εκ τούτου δεν
είναι ασφαλείς.
• Μην χρησιμοποιείτε αξεσουάρ που δεν έχουν σχεδιαστεί και προταθεί από
τον κατασκευαστή του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου. Η χρήση οποιωνδήποτε άλλων
εξαρτημάτων ενέχει κίνδυνο σοβαρού τραυματισμού και βλάβης του ηλεκτρικού
εργαλείου. Δεν είναι επειδή ένα εξάρτημα μπορεί να συνδεθεί με το εργαλείο σας:
ότι μπορεί να εξασφαλίσει ασφαλή λειτουργία. Τα εξαρτήματα πρέπει να πληρούν
συγκεκριμένες απαιτήσεις:

• Η ονομαστική ταχύτητα του εξαρτήματος πρέπει να είναι τουλάχιστον ίση με τη
μέγιστη ταχύτητα που αναγράφεται στο ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο. Τα εξαρτήματα που
λειτουργούν ταχύτερα από την ονομαστική τους ταχύτητα μπορούν να σπάσουν
και να διαλυθούν.
• Η διάμετρος και το πάχος του τροχού πρέπει να είναι κατάλληλοι για το ηλεκτρικό
εργαλείο. Τα εσφαλμένα μεγέθη εξαρτημάτων δεν μπορούν να προστατευτούν ή
να ελεγχθούν επαρκώς.
• Η τοποθέτηση των τροχών, των φλαντζών ή άλλων αξεσουάρ πρέπει να
ταιριάζει με το σπείρωμα της ατράκτου. Τα εξαρτήματα που δεν ταιριάζουν με
το υλικό τοποθέτησης του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου είναι πιθανό να εξαντληθούν; η
δόνηση είναι πιθανό να προκαλέσει απώλεια ελέγχου.
• Μην κόβετε το τεμάχιο εργασίας με διάμετρο μεγαλύτερη από το μέγιστο βάθος
κοπής του τροχού αποκοπής.
• Κρατήστε το καλώδιο ρεύματος μακριά από τον περιστρεφόμενο τροχό. Αν χάσετε
τον έλεγχο, το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας μπορεί να κοπεί ή να τραβηχτεί και το χέρι ή ο
βραχίονας μπορεί να τραβηχτεί στον περιστρεφόμενο τροχό.
• Επιθεωρήστε το τεμάχιο εργασίας για οποιαδήποτε καρφιά και αφαιρέστε τα πριν
το χειρισμό.
• Ελέγξτε για σωστή απόσταση πέρα από το τεμάχιο εργασίας πριν κόψετε έτσι ώστε
ο τροχός να μην χτυπήσει το δάπεδο, τον πάγκο εργασίας κ.λπ.
• Κρατήστε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο με μια σταθερή λαβή και με τα δύο χέρια (αν είναι
δυνατόν) και διατηρήστε μια καλή ισορροπία. Το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο χειρίζεται
καλύτερα με τα δύο χέρια. Μια ισχυρή αντίδραση ροπής μπορεί να συμβεί εάν ένας
τροχός κλειδωθεί.
• Ασφαλίστε το τεμάχιο εργασίας. Ποτέ μην κρατάτε το τεμάχιο εργασίας στο χέρι
σας ή στα πόδια σας ή στο σώμα σας. Ένα τεμάχιο εργασίας που είναι στερεωμένο
με διατάξεις σύσφιξης ή σε ένα μέσον είναι πιο ασφαλές από το χέρι. Ένα ασταθές
τεμάχιο εργασίας μπορεί να προκαλέσει απώλεια ελέγχου του εργαλείου και / ή
τραυματισμό.
• Κρατήστε τα χέρια μακριά από το εύρος εργασίας. Μην εκτείνετε κάτω από το
τεμάχιο εργασίας. Η επαφή με τον τροχό μπορεί να προκαλέσει τραυματισμούς.
• Εφαρμόστε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο στο τεμάχιο εργασίας μόνο όταν είναι
ενεργοποιημένο. Διαφορετικά υπάρχει κίνδυνος ανάκρουσης όταν ο τροχός
μπλοκάρει στο τεμάχιο εργασίας.
• Μην ασκείτε υπερβολική πίεση στο ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο.
• Μην ασκείτε πλευρική πίεση στον τροχό.
• Αποφύγετε τις περιοχές μπροστά και πίσω από τον περιστρεφόμενο τροχό. Όταν
ένας τροχός αποκοπής μετακινείται πάνω σε ένα τεμάχιο απομακρυσμένο από τον
χειριστή, μπορεί να προκαλέσει το κτύπημα του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου ως αποτέλεσμα
της ανάκρουσης, με έναν περιστρεφόμενο τροχό αποκοπής να κατευθύνεται
κατευθείαν προς τον χειριστή.
• Ο προστατευτικός τροχός πρέπει να τοποθετηθεί σωστά στο ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο.
Ο προστατευτικός τροχός πρέπει να τοποθετηθεί έτσι ώστε να προστατεύει τον
χειριστή από τα τσιπ, τυχαία επαφή με τον τροχό και σπινθήρες που μπορεί να
προκαλέσουν πυρκαγιά.
• Εάν το προστατευτικό δεν λειτουργεί σωστά, πρέπει να επισκευαστεί σε
εξουσιοδοτημένο σημείο συντήρησης πριν από οποιαδήποτε περαιτέρω χρήση του
ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου.
