
If the vacuum cleaner becomes less efficient than normal,
check the bag full indicator on the to cover. If the indicator
is visible when vacuum cleaner is on, the dust bag requires
em tying. O en the to cover; slide the dust bag out.
Dis ose of the contents in the dust bag and re lace.
Ensure that the inlet o ening of the dust bag is ro erly
aligned with the o ening of the hose connection entry.
Close the to cover and the vacuum is ready for use.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
For your safety when using electrical a liances, basic safety
recautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Carefully read these instructions before using your

intended for use by young children or infirm ersons

dust, lime, and gib board residue as such articles will
enter and damage the motor.
8. Un lug from mains outlet when a liance is not in use, in
storage, before attaching or removing accessories, and
before cleaning.
9. An a liance dro ed or damaged should not be used until
examined by a service engineer.
10. Do not abuse the ower cord. Never carry the a liance by
the cord or yank it to disconnect it from the mains outlet.
Disconnect the ower cord from the mains outlet by
gras ing the lug and ulling it out.
11. Do not run over the mains lead with the vacuum. A
damaged cord must be re laced by the manufacturer or its
service agent or a suitably qualified erson in order to avoid
a hazard.
12. Do not ermit the mains lead to come in contact with hot
objects. Please ask a service engineer to re lace a worn or
damaged mains lead immediately with an a roved lead of
the same size and ty e.
13. If using an extension cord with your a liance, check that
it is correctly wired and rated for its use.
14. The a liance should not be laced near a hot gas or
electrical burner.
15. An a liance should never be left unattended when lugged
in.
16. Use this a liance only for its intended use. Use only
genuine attachments su lied by an authorised service –
dealer.
17. This a liance is intended for household use only and not
for commercial or industrial use.
18. If a liance is to be used by a third arty, lease su ly the
instruction manual with it.
