Have A Blast with the Rocket Switch!
This innovative switch provides multi-sensory stimulation with its felt
propeller that spins when you pull the bead chains on the side of the
rocket or press the top. It can also be used as a switch to activate a toy or
device by simply pulling the bead chains. Requires 4 AA batteries and
accepts 1/8" plugs.
(This is a switch as well as a toy- it does not require a switch).
Operation:
1. The battery compartments are located under the unit. Remove the
screws on the battery compartment covers and slide the covers off.
Observing polarity, install two AA batteries into each of the battery
holders. Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand).
Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries
because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform
properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands
or types together. Replace covers and screws.
2. To operate this Rocket Switch as a switch connect the supplied 1/8- to
1/8-inch connector cord to the toy or device by the 1/8-inch jack. Next
plug the other end of the connector cord via the 1/8-inch jack on the
back of the Rocket Switch. The device/toy will remain on while the
beads are being played with (pulled on). Please note when used as a
switch the Rocket Switch will not activate its other features
(music, lights, and felt propeller).
Troubleshooting:
Note: When this unit is not connected to an external toy or device, the
connector cord must be removed from the jack or the unit will not operate
properly.
Problem: There is no music (or it becomes slow or distorted) or the unit
does not activate an external toy properly.
Action: Replace batteries.
Problem: There is no music or movement of the felt propeller.
Action: Check to see if an adapter has been left in the device jack.
Care of Unit:
The Rocket Switch can be wiped clean with any household multi-
purpose cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green, which is
a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the contents and the
electrical components.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
