4 Introduction
You can use a variety of foods, chocolates or sauces with your CHOCOLATE
FOUNTAIN to create the flavour you desire. Depending on what you choose,
you can use:
•Milk Chocolate
•Dark Semi-Sweet Chocolate
•White Chocolate
•Butterscotch
to dip strawberries, marshmallows, apple wedges, pretzels, biscuits, ice cream
balls, peanut butter balls, etc. – use your imagination.Even add liqueurs for
sophisticated flavours.
You can use CHEESE and dip grapes, apples, breads, shrimp/seafood,
crackers, and pretzels etc. – use your imagination.
In order to use cheese, you just need to prepare the cheese as you would for a
regular fondue pot by diluting it with white wine and cream to keep it liquid,
enabling it to flow through the tower.
BBQ Sauces work well too. Use your favourite Sauce to dip chicken cubes,
beef/steak cubes, pork cube, etc. – you choose. Keep in mind the consistency
of the sauce needs to be thin. Use wine, liquor or water to dilute the sauce.
Your unit will work with any chocolate. However, the best chocolate to use is
pure Belgian Chocolate, high in cocoa butter, that is formulated for chocolate
fountains.
This chocolate requires no oil to function and is rich and decadent. You can
purchase this type of chocolate online at any website that sells commercial
chocolate fountains.
Fortunately you do not need to go far to use your new chocolate fountain.
Simply go into your cupboard or local market and purchase chocolate chips
used for baking in your baking aisle of the local store.
Since these chips are low in cocoa butter, they need oil to make it flow
correctly. The types of oil you can use are:
•Canola oil
•Vegetable oil

5 Instruction For Use
•Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials.
•Clean each part with warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a sponge
then dry them carefully. Do Not immerse the electrical components or
base unit in water or liquid.
5.1 Set Up
•After cleaning and thoroughly drying, place the Base Unit on a stable and
flat surface near a power point. (Do Not plug in yet). It is important for the
unit to be level to create the desired flowing effect.
•Ensure the small silicon seal around the motor spindle is in place.
•Locate the end of the auger with the triangular hole onto the triangular
motor spindle which protrudes out the bottom of the melting bowl and slide
on.
•Place the tower over the auger and down onto the melting bowl ensuring
the three locating feet fit over the three locating pins and push all the way
down.
Caution: Do not attempt to place the auger or tower on the base unit, or
remove from the base unit while the motor is turning or while the appliance
is plugged into the power point. Do Not Touch Moving Parts.
5.2 Operation
Important: The Unit Must Be Level To Operate Properly.
•Plug into the power point and switch on.
•Make sure the appliance works by testing the motor function. To do this,
rotate the Selector Switch to position “I”. This should start the motor (and
auger) turning and the heater under the melting bowl to start to heat. The
red indicator light will also illuminate.
Rotating the Selector Switch to Position “II” will turn the motor (auger) off
but the heater will continue to heat so as to prevent the chocolate from
hardening when the Fountain effect is not required.
•Rotate the Selector Switch back to the “O” position to turn Off both motor
(auger) and heater.

Page 9of 12
•Take a microwaveable bowl and fill with 680grams (24 ounces) of
chocolate chips (or a broken up block of plain chocolate no more than
680grams) and ¾ of a cup (187.5ml) of oil (No Oil is required if using
Belgian Chocolate).
NOTE: For best results your chocolate needs to be 60% cocoa. Any
higher percentage will require you to add more vegetable oil to thin the
mixture.
•Place in the microwave for 3 minutes on an average power setting. Check
and stir every minute until it is a rich smooth texture with no unmelted
chocolate. If required, microwave for another 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every
minute, until all the chocolate is fully melted.
•Rotate the Selector Switch to position “I”. The motor (auger) will start to
turn.
•Pour the melted chocolate into the Melting Bowl at the base of the tower.
Fill up to just before the top of the rim of the melting bowl.
•The chocolate will then be pulled up the centre of the tower by the auger
and will then cascade down the tower tiers.
•If the flow is not consistent, add 1/8 of a cup (31ml) of oil to the chocolate
mix so as to thin the chocolate slightly.
•Once the flow and consistency looks good, you may need to adjust the
level of the appliance so that the chocolate flows evenly over all the tiers.
To fine tune the level, the two front feet under the base unit can be turned
clockwise to raise or lower the front and sides of the unit or anticlockwise
to lower.
NOTE: Never turn the motor off until most of the chocolate has been consumed or
removed as the chocolate inside tower will flow down and overfill the melting bowl.
If you need to turn the motor off before the chocolate has been consumed, scoop
out the chocolate first with a cup or large spoon.

•Never add chunks of unmelted chocolate to the fountain. Only add warm
melted, smooth chocolate.
•Keep hands and foreign objects out of the fountain while operating.
•Take care as the chocolate may be hot.
•Never add cold liquid to chocolate, as it may cause the flow to stop. Only
add warmed liquids.
•Always check to make sure no chunks of food are in the melting bowl as it
may clog the flow of chocolate. Remove with a slotted spoon.
6 Flavoured Chocolate
Enhance your presentation with “Liquor Flavoured Chocolate”
•Prior to mixing the liquor with the chocolate, and if required, you can burn
off the alcohol of the liquor by cooking it on the stove top.
•Pour into a small saucepan and bring to the boil. The alcohol burns off
leaving only the flavour.
•Mix this with your choice of chocolate before adding to the Chocolate
Fountain.
Desired Flavour Use
Orange Chocolate Grand Marnier
Chocolate Hazelnut Frangelico
Coffee Chocolate Kahlua
Mint Chocolate Crème de Menthe
Chocolate Macaroon Malibu Liqueur
Chocolate Liqueur Cadbury Cream Liqueur
•Using a measuring cup, add approximately ¼ cup (62ml) of liquor,
depending on your taste.
•Do Not Add Any Cold Liquids To Fountain During Operation as this will
cause your mixture to thicken and not flow properly.
CAUTION: While the Chocolate Fountain is in operation or just finished
operating, Do Not touch the heating bowl as it may be hot.
DO NOT cover the appliance when operating or hot.

7 Cleaning
•Turn off and unplug and let cool prior to cleaning.
•Remove the tower and auger.
•Wipe the excess chocolate off the Tower, Auger and Melting Bowl with a
paper towel.
NOTE: DO NOT pour excess or leftover chocolate down the sink or drains.
Pour into a plastic bag or disposable container then dispose of in the
rubbish bin.
•Wash the Tower and Auger in warm, soapy water and then rinse and dry.
The Tower and Auger can be washed in the dishwasher however, hand
washing is preferred.
•Wash the melting bowl with a damp sponge soaked in warm, soapy water
and then rinse and dry.
NOTE:
DO NOT immerse the base unit in water or liquid.
DO NOT place the base unit in the dishwasher.
•Use a slightly damp sponge to clean the outside of the base unit and wipe
with a towel to dry.
•Do not use abrasive creams, solvents, steel wool or scouring pads as they
will damage the product.
