USER INSTRUCTIONS
This hair dryer is equipped with a thermostat that will cycle `OFF’ if the
temperature exceeds the comfort level due to partially blocked air inlet or air outlet
grilles. In the event that the hair dryer stops during use, turn off all switches and
allow the hair dryer to cool down, at which time the thermostat will automatically
reset. Before using again, check that the air inlet and air outlet grilles are not
blocked. Unplug the hair dryer and clean the openings if necessary. During use,
do not block the air openings or let your hair be drawn into the hair dryer.
MAINTENANCE
Your hair dryer is designed for household use and is virtually maintenance
free. No lubrication is needed. When cleaning becomes necessary, turn all
switches off and disconnect the hair dryer from the power outlet.
To maintain peak product performance, it is important to clean the air inlet
grille and filter at the back of the dryer. To access the air inlet grille and filter,
grasp the air inlet grille retaining ring with your thumb positioned on the
indent at the top of the ring and pull it away from the hair dryer. The filter is
on a hinge and easily folds down, clean with a soft brush or a vacuum
cleaner. Replace the filter by folding the hinged filter back to the original
position until you hear it click into place. The exterior of the hair dryer can be
cleaned by wiping it with a damp cloth.
STORAGE
When not in use, always unplug the hair dryer from the power outlet. Allow
the hair dryer to cool and store out of the reach of children in a safe dry
place. Never wrap the power cord around the hair dryer since this will cause
the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle the cord carefully for long life
and avoid jerking, twisting or straining especially at the plug connections. If
the cord becomes twisted in use, periodically straighten it.
You may also use the hang loop to store the hair dryer within convenient
reach, ensuring that water cannot be splashed on to it when it is hung up.

COOL SHOT
This hair dryer is equipped with a cool shot, which is used to hold your
hairstyle. Press and hold the cool shot button to rapidly cool and hold your
hair once it has been styled.
BASIC HAIR CARE INSTRUCTIONS
For optimal results, shampoo and condition your hair prior to styling and towel
dry to remove excess moisture.
QUICK DRYING
Select a high or medium heat and a high speed setting and roughly dry hair.
Use a brush or your hand to shake out excess moisture whilst drying and
keep the hair dryer in constant motion.
STRAIGHTENING
Select high or medium heat and a high speed setting and roughly dry the
hair. When the hair is nearly dry, attach the concentrator (which minimises
frizz) and reduce the heat and speed. Section the hair according to thickness
and begin with straightening bottom layers first. Using a brush, follow the
brush with the concentrator from above, while slowly gliding down each
section of hair from roots to tips. Once the bottom layers have been
straightened, then straighten the mid section and complete by straightening
the top layers.
NATURAL WAVY TEXTURE
Using the hair dryer on a low or medium heat and a low speed setting,
‘Scrunch’ sections of hair with your fingers into the palm of your hand, while
directing airflow through your fingers. Once you have achieved the desired
effect, use the cool shot on each section of hair to hold style. For more volume
lean forward and dry the hair in the upside down position.
LIFT & VOLUME
Using the hair dryer on a medium to high heat and a high speed setting, work
from the roots of hair and begin at the back of the head. Section your hair
and use brush or fingers to dry against its natural growth pattern. This
creates lift at the roots, which creates a style with volume.
STYLING
Attach the concentrator, for precision drying, and select a medium or low
heat setting and a low speed setting. Section the hair, and style using a
brush. Concentrate the airflow directly on the hair while styling in the
direction you desire. If necessary, hold the airflow for 2-5 seconds on
each section while curling under or over for additional hold.
