BENEFITS OF JUICING
THE NUTREX PRESSTM JUICER
Making your own homemade juices from fresh fruits and vegetables has several benets. Fruits
and vegetables are an important source of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients necessary
for vitality and good health.
Besides giving you the most nutritional value without added sugars, preservatives, and
articial avors, homemade juices contain more ber because you can juice most fruits
and vegetables whole, including skin, rind, and pulp. You can also make your own fruit and
vegetable combinations to get the nutrition and avor combinations you want.
According to the United States Department of Agriculture, the World Health Organization,
and other health organizations around the world, people who eat a diet rich in fruits and
vegetables are likely to reduce their risk of developing diseases such as diabetes, stroke, heart
disease, and certain cancers.
1,2
Juicing is an economical, nutritious, and delicious way to get the
recommended number of servings for fruits and vegetables, every day!
e Nutrex Press
TM
Juicer is suitable for preparing fruit, vegetable and legume juices, as well
as soy and almond milk.
With its cold pressed juice extraction system, the Nutrex Press
TM
Juicer retains more nutrients,
vitamins and minerals, natural colors and avors from fruits and vegetables when compared
with conventional juicers.
e pulp that is expelled from the produce you use is much drier than with conventional
juicers. is means you get more juice from your produce. is can save you money at the
grocery store and produce stand.
e juice you end up with retains more pulp. Because pressed juices do not separate, they
retain more ber and even a little protein.
Rena Ware’s Nutrex Press
TM
Juicer is easy to clean and is quieter than conventional juicers.

SELECTING AND PREPARING
YOUR PRODUCE
• Select the freshest fruits and vegetables available. Remove any visible dirt and store
properly. Do not rinse the produce until right before you are ready to juice.
• Freshly made juices should be consumed as soon as possible aer they are prepared or
refrigerated for up to 72 hours.
• Some so, low-moisture fruits such as avocados, bananas, cooked apples, plums, and
apricots, are not suitable for juice extraction.
• Leafy greens, parsley, wheat grass and sprouts should be bunched up into a small ball and
then pushed through with the food pusher. Celery should be pushed through more slowly
because celery bers are tough.
• It is not necessary to peel fruits and vegetables with thin skins, but the thick skin in fruits
like melon, cantaloupe, pineapple, citruses, etc., must be removed.
• Remove the pits and cores from fruits such as cherries, apples, pears and peaches. During
juicing, melon seeds may escape from the top of the Feeder Tube, so remove them when
possible.

HOW TO MAKE NUT MILK
If you’ve never tried nut milk before, now you can. Your new Nutrex Press
TM
Juicer allows you
to make milk from nuts as a fresh alternative to dairy and store-bought nut milks.
You will love the taste, even your kids will love it. You can make it any time from whatever
nuts you have in your home.
Use fresh raw pecans, walnuts, almonds or hazelnuts as they have retained all the nutrients
since they have not been pasteurized or heated.
Using a ratio of 1 cup of nuts to 2 cups of ltered water, place in a bowl and soak for 4 to 6
hours, or overnight.
Note: Attempting to make nut milk with nuts that have not been soaked can damage your
Nutrex Press
TM
Juicer. Damage of this type is not covered by the warranty.
1. Replace the water the nuts have been soaking in with fresh ltered water using the same
amount of water you added to soak the nuts.
2. Assemble the juicer with the Juice and Pulp Catchers in position and attach the Juice
Outlet Stopper in the closed position.
3. Turn on the juicer, and then add the nuts and water to the juicer with a spoon or ladle.
Each time the nut milk level reaches the 300 ml level in the Juicing Bowl, open the Outlet
Stopper to drain the milk.
4. Repeat until all of the nuts and water have gone through the juicer.
Tip: You may strain using the Straining Cloth for smoother nut milk. You can also adjust the
amount of water used; less water produces a thicker and more avorful nut milk.
To spice up your nut milk, aer it has been made, try stirring in one, or a combination of the
following avors to taste:
Almond, Pecan, Walnut, and Hazelnut Milk

• Cocoa or cacao powder

• Maple syrup
• Agave nectar

HOW TO MAKE SOYMILK
1. Sort the soybeans and soak in enough ltered water to cover the beans by at least 1 inch
(2.5 cm). Change the water every 6 to 8 hours, adding more to keep the beans covered.
e beans are ready when they are doubled (or more) in size and are easy to cut or bite
through.
2. Rinse the beans thoroughly. Although not necessary, you can remove the outer hulls
before pressing to improve the milk’s avor. To remove the hulls, cover the beans in
water, then rub them gently between your palms and ngers until the hulls come o and
can be rinsed away.
3. Assemble the juicer. Attach the Juice Outlet Stopper in the closed position.
4. Turn on the juicer and pour the soybeans into the feeder tube, alternate between beans
and ltered water, using roughly twice as much water as beans.
5. When the level reaches the 300 ml open the Juice Outlet Stopper and allow the soy milk
to ow out into the Juice Catcher. Close the Juice Outlet Stopper and repeat steps 4 and 5.
6. Place a strainer over your 4 Litre utensil and pour in the soymilk allowing it to sit until
the soymilk no longer ows into the utensil, up to a maximum of half full. Use the
Spoonula or a large wooden spoon to press the remaining soymilk out.
7. Place the 4 Litre on the stove over medium low heat and bring the milk to a boil, stir
oen. Stirring reduces the amount the soymilk will bubble. You can also pour a small
amount of ltered water into the utensil if it is bubbling too much.
8. Once the milk has boiled, add salt, avoring and any sweeteners to taste. Turn the heat
to low and cook for another 20 minutes, continuing to stir to keep it from bubbling over.
9. Turn o the heat and allow the milk to cool before you use it or store it. Scoop out the
“skin” or lm that forms on top.
10. Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator up to one week.
• 1 cup or 160 g dry organic soybeans
• 6-8 cups of ltered water (1.5 to 2 liters)
• Salt, to taste
• Sugar, to taste (optional)
• Optional Flavorings: vanilla, cinnamon,
chocolate or avoring of choice
• Large Bowl
• Strainer or ne sieve

BENEFICIOS DE HACER JUGOS
EXTRACTOR DE JUGO
NUTREX PRESSTM
y vegetales a diario.
El Extractor de jugo Nutrex Press
TM
