General: To know your NVR

Step 1 Connect NVR to Monitor / TV
HDMI : Use the HDM I cable (supplied ) to connect your NVR
to the TV HDM I port .

Or VGA : Use the HDMI cable (supplied ) to connect your
NVR to the TV H DMI port .

Step 3 Connect Network
If you want to view the N VR from Mobile or Internet , you need
to connect NVR to Internet .If don't connect to Internet , it will
still works, just some function maybe affected .

Step 2 Connect Cameras
Use the supplied cable, one side into the back socket of NVR,
other side into the network socket of Camera as below.

Step 5 Connect Power Adapters
Connect power cord to power up NVR

Step 4 Connect Mouse
You can connect mouse to either of the two rear USB ports
to control your NVR .

Choose the language you'd like the menu system to be
displayed in
Choose between NTSC (USA,Japan,Canada) or PA L (E U)
Select a resolution for your display . This set should to be
equal to the native resolution of your TV/Monitor.
Choose the time zone you're in
Select your preferred date format
1 General Configuration
The Setup Wizard will run automatically the first time you
start your NVR
Here you can:
Set up language, video format, resolution, time zone and
date format.
Name the cameras
Configure your e-mail account.
Sync the NVR time with the internet server.
Choose settings for daylight saving.
Set a new password for the NVR.

3 Configure Email
You can send email alert when detect alarms events.
We suggest to use Gmail, you can go to www.gmail.com to
create your account .
Click “Test” to verify the setting is correct
After testing e-mail , click “Send UID” to receive a e-mail
contain your NV R's UID , so you can access from Reo-link
App or Client software.
Click “ Next” to continue .

2 Device List
Display technical information of the Cameras connected to
NVR ,IP address , Mac Address , name ,Channel.
You can rename the camera default name using the virtual
keyboard , so you can easy identify.

You can configure NVR to auto adjust its time for Daylight
Savings in your time zone .
You can set when daylight saving time start and ends ,
If daylight savings do not apply to your locale , unmark the
checkbox .
Click “ Next” to continue .
5 Daylight Saving
4 Internet Time
You can set your NVR's system date and time
You can Sync your NV R's clock with an Internet Time Service
using NTP
Click “Sync” and your NVR will auto sync its internal clock
with the time server
Click “ Next” to continue.

6 Configure Password
You can set new password to your NV R
The default password is 12345
Select “ Enable Password ” if you would like an extra
authentication on your NVR . Each time you access the
NVR main menu interface, you'll need to input password.

7 Live View Screen
Live View is the default display mode for the NV R where all
of your connected cameras are displayed on-screen , You
can check the status or operation of your NVR and cameras
using the icons and menu bars on the Live View screen .

8 Menu Bar
Right click the mouse on the live view screen to open
the main Menu
1. Opens the Main Menu.
2. Single camera view.
3. Four-camera view.
4. Eight-camera view
5. Nine-camera view
6. Click this to view the next camera or screen when
the NVR is in single or four-camera view.
7. Click this to enable picture-in-picture when
viewing multiple cameras. When en- abled , one camera
will be displayed full screen while the other camera
will be dis- played in a small window.
8. Click this to do a manual recording.
9. Click this to start the Setup Wizard

Mobile App

1 After download Reolink and
install the app, run the App .
2 When you first start the app,
you will see this screen, Tap
“ Add New Device ” Button.

From Reolink App, you can
Add new device by scanning QR code, no need complicate
network settings
Multi-channel viewing with up to 16 channels on screen at
the same time
Remotely playback the recording from your N VR H DD
Capture video from the live view channels to your iOS or
Android mobile device to playback
Capture single and multi images and save these to your
iOS or Android mobile device
Control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely
Let's start downloading the Reolink App from Apple Store
or Google Play to experience Reolink from Here .

C Add A Device
5 Tap “ Device Name ” to
name your NVR . Enter the
password ( default 12345 )
or the one that you created
in the setup wizard
6 Tap the “Save” Button at
the top-right to save . The
app will verify and test your
connection.

3 Tap the QR code icon. Hold
your mobile device over the
QR code sticker located on
top of your NVR to scan .
You will hear a beep when the
QR code has been successfully
scanned.
4 The UID of your NVR will
automatically be entered.

E Preview
1. Menu button - you can access to options such as add, edit
and delete a device. You can also access built-in manual,
version information and check the playback video recorded
to your mobile device . Tap the play button to exit the menu.
Tap this to access live view mode . A red border
will surround the currently selected camera.

your N VR
4. Camera list – you can access to the camera list to
enable or disable the cameras available.

7 When the app has
successfully connected
with you r NVR tap the
“ Start preview ” button.
If the app fails to connect,
make sure the UID and
your login details are
correct.
8 You will now see a live
view of all your cameras
connected . Have a look
at the instructions below
to get yourself familiar
with the various options.

G Playback
2. Select the start and end time & date.
3.Tap the > button next to and select the camera . Only
1 camera can be selected when searching .
4. Tap start Search to display the files that fit with You will see
below screen.
F Preview
1. Shows which camera or group you are viewing.
2. Take a snapshot of the selected camera and save
image to your mobile device
3. Stop/Stat all cameras , stop live view of all the
cameras . Tap again to restart all cameras .
4. Record video of the selected cameras to your mobile
device; Tap the button again to stop record.
5. Control any PTZ camera that is connected
6. You can select 1/4/9/16 cam to view at a time .
7. Stop/Stat selected camera ,Stop live view of selected
camera. Tap again to restart the camera .
8. Stream- Video Quality ,you can change the live view
image video quality

You can also drag to magnify the timeline scroll as below

Windows Client Software

Click Next to Begin

Install Reolink
Windows Client Software
You can download Reolink Client Software from the CD supplied
or download from Internet to access and control your NVR from
your Computer.
Go to www. reo-link. com to download Reolink client Software.
When finish downloading, navigate to the download folder or the
location you saved the file.
Double click the file , a new window will open, double-click the
program to commence installation. Follow the instructions in this
quick start guide

Install Reo-link
Select additional task
then click next.
Click Install to install

the installation.
Use Reolink
The Reolink software allows you to control your NV R from
within the same network or remotely over the internet . The
following instructions will explain what you can do and
which buttons control what functions.
Note :

Use Reolink
UID Mode and I P address Mode
UID Mode
Here we have selected UID mode . This mode provides the
option of connecting to your NVR without the working
knowledge of networking to connect over the Internet . The
UID is provided on the sticker located on your NV R , or
from the email you send yourself during the setup wizard.
Use this mode if your N VR is in a different location to your
computer ( e.g. NVR at home , computer at work ) For
stream type select “Sub Stream”
IP Address Mode
This is the standard method of connecting you N VR to your
computer provided they are located not the same network.
This mode normally requires a working knowledge of
networking to connect over the Internet . Don't use this mode
if your NVR and computer are in different locations.
Use Reolink
Click Search to see
the NVR on your
network
Your NVR will be
displayed , Click
this to select.
You need login to connect. You can use the default user name
or different name; enter the default password 12345 or the
password you created during the setup wizard.
If you connect NV R on the same network,select“Main Stream”
under stream type. If you are connecting over the Internet,
please select “Sub Stream” to run smoother for remote
viewing.
Click Login to connect.

Playback
You can select the camera you want to play. For more
details please refer to User Manual.
Preview
Preview mode allows you to watch live view of cameras on
your computer.
Expand basic settings to adjust the brightness, contrast
etc.
Advanced Setting allows you to alter how each camera
adapts to different light conditions for day and night.
