‐Press“REC”tostartrecording.AFlashingreddotonthetopleftcornerofthescreenwillappearto

IncidentRecording
OncetheunitsensesaspikeinG‐Forceswhilerecording,theunitwillseparateandlabelthatfile
startingwith“SOS”.AspikeinG‐Forcesmayoccurwhenanincidenthappens.Theunitassistsin
locatingthefilebysavingitunder“SOS”andprotectsthefilebylockingitfromaccidentaldeletion.

averagechargetimeisabout180minutes,oncefulltheredlightwillturnoff.
Troubleshooting
Iftheunitfreezesordoesnotrespondtoanybuttoncommand,useapinorathintooltopressthe
resetbuttonlocatedonthetop.
Iftheunitisnotrecordingortakingaphoto,checktoensuretheMicroSDcardhasbeenformatted
andisnotlocked.
OncetheunitsensesaspikeinG‐Forceswhilerecording,theunitwillseparateandlabelthatfile
startingwith“SOS”.AspikeinG‐Forcesmayoccurwhenanincidenthappens,theunitassistinlocating
thefilebysavingitunder“SOS”andprotectsthefilebylockingitfromaccidentaldeletion
Ifa“FileError”messageappearsduringreplayofthevideoorviewingofaphoto,itmaybebecausethe
MicroSDcardhasoccurredanerror.PleaseformatyourMicroSDcard.
Ifthevideoorphotoisunclear,ensurethatthelensiscleanusingadrysoftcloth.
UsingtheProgram
1. Createanewfolderinyourcomputer(anywhereyouprefer)called“CarEventRecorderPlayer”
2. InsertthesuppliedCDintoyourcomputer.
3. OpentheCDanddouble‐clickonthezippedfiletoopen.
4. Right‐clickonthe.exefileandselect“ExtractFiles…”
5. Findthefolderyoucreatedinstep1,andextracttoit.
6. Onceithasbeenextracted,gobacktotheCDanddouble‐clickonthecodecfile.Followthe
instructionsonscreentoinstall.
7. Afterthecodecisinstalled,theprogramisreadytouse.

Atthetopleft,clickon‘File’and‘Open’toselectafile
Selectthefileyouwouldliketoaddtotheplaylist.Toselectmultiple,holddowntheCTRLkeyonyour
keyboardwhileyouclickthefiles.
Selectthefileyouwouldliketoview,andpressthePlaybutton.Thevideo,GPS,G‐Sensor,speedsensor
andcompasswillallworkatthesametimetogiveyouinformation.NOTE:Theredsideofthecompass
arrowpointstothedirectionoftravel.
Whenthevideoisopenedtofullscreen,onlythevideowillbeseenonscreen.Double‐clickthescreen
orpresstheESCkeytoexitfullscreenmode.
Tosaveascreenshotofthevideo,pressthe‘PrintScreen’button.Itwillsavethefiletothesamefolder
wheretheprogramis,inanautomaticallycreatedfolderlabeled“screenshots”.
