WARNING
Stationary images in video games can “burn” into some television screens and may
cause permanent picture damage or mark phosphor of the CRT. Avoid repeated or
extended use of video games on large-screen projection televisions. Consult with
your TV owner’s manufacturer manual before playing any games.
CAUTION
Before playing video games, be sure to observe and apply the following:
• Take intermittent 15 minute breaks, at least once an hour, when playing for
extensive periods at a time.
• Refrain from playing if you are drowsy or fatigued.
• Play in a well-lit room
• Sit or stand at a relatively far distance from the TV when playing video games.
SAFETY
Read carefully before operating your Retro-Bit Super Retro-Cade console
This product has been designed with the highest concern for safety. However, any
electrical device, if used improperly, has the potential for causing re, electrical
shock or personal injury. To help ensure accident-free operation, follow these
guidelines:
• Observe all warnings, precautions and instructions.
• Stop use and unplug the AC power cord from the electrical outlet immediately
if the device functions in an abnormal manner or produces unusual sounds
or smells.
• If the Super Retro-Cade console is not working properly after troubleshooting,
contact customer support at service@retro-bit.com
• Do not remove the console exterior or disassemble the console. Do not use
the console near water.
• Keep the console and all connecting cords and cables out of the reach of
children.
• Do not touch the plug of the AC power cord with wet hands.
• Do not touch the console or connected accessories during an electrical storm.
• Do not touch the console or AC adapter for extended periods of time while the
console is turned on as extended contact may cause low-temperature burns.
• Do not place the console and connected accessories on the oor or in a place
where they may cause persons walking by to trip or stumble.

HEALTH
• Stop Playing and consult a physician if you experience any of the following:
ᴑLoss of awareness
ᴑLightheadedness, nausea or a sensation similar to motion sickness
ᴑAltered vision
ᴑDisorientation or confusion
ᴑFacial muscle twitches
ᴑShaking of arms or legs
ᴑTired, uncomfortable or aching hands or arms
ᴑTired, dry or aching eyes
ᴑAny unusual physical sensations
• When operating the unit, play in a well-lit room and keep a safe distance from
the TV screen.
• Avoid prolonged use of the console. Take a break of about 15 minutes during
every hour of play.
• Do not use the console when you are tired or short of sleep.
• Listening to sound continuously for a long time with a high volume may
adversely affect the ears. Be careful especially when using headphones.
Adjust the volume so that surrounding sounds can be heard.
• Do not let any young children or toddlers operate the Super Retro-Cade
console without supervision.

Hooking up your Super Retro-Cade Console
Connecting the AV cable
1. Connect one end of the supplied AV cable into the Super Retro-Cade
Console AV port located on the back of the console:
a. Red & white into the (L R) sockets
b. Yellow into the (V) socket
2. Plug the other end into the signal input ports on the TV set, also matching
the colors indicated.
Connecting the HDMI®cable
3. Connect one end of the supplied HDMI® cable into the Super Retro-Cade
Console HDMI® port located on the back of the console:
4. Plug the other end into the signal input port on the TV set.
Connecting the Super Retro-Cade Console to the AC Adapter
• Plug the DC end of supplied power adapter into the DC socket on back of the
Super Retro-Cade Console
• Plug the other end of the power adapter into wall outlet
Precautions on Using the Super Retro-Cade Adapter
• Use ONLY the Super Retro-Cade AC Adapter included.
• Using a different AC adapter may damage your Super Retro-Cade Console.
• When not in use, unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet.
• Do not leave the system or any of its parts in direct sunlight, in damp areas or
near a heater
• Do not disassemble the console or any of its parts.
Setting the TV Channel
1. Make sure the Audio/Video or HDMI® Cable is connected correctly.
2. Select the Audio/Video or HDMI® Input setting on your TV, monitor, VCR or
DVD player.
Operating your Super Retro-Cade Console
1. Make sure the power is “Off”
2. Plug your Super Retro-Cade Controllers into the respective Controller Slots
on the front of the console.
3. To turn the power on, press down on the power button located on the top of
the console until you hear a click sound.

• Game List - Here you will be able to see the available games. All the games
are listed in alphabetical order.
Navigating the User Interface
• Game Screen - Once you select the game you would like to play, you will
reach this screen.

• Console Settings - To get to the console settings menu;
While on the games list screen - tap the Select button.
♦On this menu you will have the following options:
◊ Audio - Adjust the overall volume of the consoles background music
and turn music off.
◊ Video - Adjust the screen size to Full Screen or Original size.
◊ Controller/Input - Remap your controller buttons, Make sure you
save your settings if you are remapping your controls.
◊ Advanced - Change language and do a system restore.
♦ Current game Button Conguration Displayed for your Convenience.
♦On this menu you will have the following options:
◊Start Game - Starts the game up.
∗Some Arcade games will require coins, to insert coin press the
Select button. Each press is one coin.
◊Load Save State - Load up one of your savestates.
◊Add To Favorites - Add game to your Favorites list.
◊Return To Menu - Exit back to the games list.

• In Game Menu - To get to this Menu while in game, you are going to want to
press both the START and SELECT buttons together.
♦On this menu you will have the following options:
◊Return to Game - Return to the point of the game you entered into
this menu from.
◊Load Save State - Loads you to the point of your most recent game
save.
∗SD Card - Load save state from SD Card..
∗Internal Storage - Load save state from Internal Storage.
◊Save State - Save your game so you don’t have to start over
∗SD Card - Save your current game state to an SD card.
∗Internal Storage - Save your current game state to the console.
◊Button Mapping - Remap your controller buttons, Make sure you
save your settings if you are remapping your controls
◊Game Volume - Adjust volume for current game.
◊Reset Game - Reset game to its default settings - High Scores will be
reset and Save States will be deleted.
◊Exit - Return to the Games list

Troubleshooting
PROBLEM SOLUTION
Console is not turning on. • Is the AC adapter properly connected to the
console?
• Is the AC adapter connected to a working
power source?
• Press the Power button down until you hear
or feel it click.
No picture on the screen. • Is the TV turned on?
• Is the HDMI® cable connected properly to
the TV and console?
• Is the AV cable connected to the correct
Input on the TV?
• Do you have both AV and HDMI® cables
connected? If so switch the TV input/channel
from AV to HDMI®.
• Is the console turned on?
• Disconnected all cables from the console
and TV, and then reconnect the cables.
Not getting any sound. • Is the TV volume too low or on mute?
• Is the Consoles’ Game Volume turned up or
down?
• Did you verify that the left and right audio
cables are connected to the same input
section as your video cable?
The picture looks Blurry,
Pixelated or stretched out.
• Do you have the screen size set to full screen?
Go into Game Settings, select Screen Size,
and select Original Size.
The controller is not
working.
• Is the controller properly connected to the
console?
• Is the controller connected to the player 1
port?
• With the controller connected to the player 1
port, turn the console off, wait 15 to 20 secs
and turn the console ON.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
The Games do not want to
load.
• Turn the console off, Disconnected the
AC adapter, Wait 15 to 20 seconds,
Reconnect the AC adapter, turn the
console ON and load a game.
• Only do this step if the above did not
work:
Go into the console Settings, Select
Advanced, Select Reset Default Settings,
Select YES.
Can’t save to the SD Card • Verify the SD card is not locked
• Is the SD card Full?
◊ Try a different SD Card
