The cable preparation method shown here uses standard
hand tools.
1. Cut the cable end even with a saw.
2. Saw around cable jacket and outer conductor foil to the
dimension shown. Cut the dielectric up to the cable inner con-
ductor. Remove cable jacket, outer conductor foil and cable
dielectric.
3. Trim cable jacket.
Caution: Do not cut into the outer conductor foil when cut-
ting cable jacket! If the outer conductor foil is deformed, then
smooth it. Deburr cable inner conductor. Remove all metal
particles!
4. Slide heat shrink boot onto cable.
5. Insert prepared cable end into connector until stop.
Caution: Do not turn connector on cable!
6. Slide the heat shrink boot into place over the connector body
as shown. Use a heat gun or apply a light flame to the boot
until it shrinks smoothly forming a weatherproof seal.
Für die hier aufgezeigte Kabelvorbereitung werden Standard-
Werkzeuge verwendet.
1. Kabel rechtwinklig zur Kabelachse absägen.
2. Kabelmantel und Außenleiterfolie gem. vorgegebenem Maß
ringsherum einsägen. Das Kabeldielektrikum bis auf den
Kabelinnenleiter durchschneiden. Kabelmantel, Außenleiterfolie
und Kabeldielektrikum entfernen.
3. Kabelmantel absetzen.
Achtung: Außenleiterfolie beim Absetzen des Kabelmantels
nicht verletzen! Ist die Außenleiterfolie deformiert, dann
wieder in Form bringen. Kabelinnenleiter entgraten. Sämtliche
Metallpartikel entfernen!
4. Schrumpfschlauch auf dem Kabel positionieren.
5. Das vorbereitete Kabelende bis zum Anschlag in den Steck-
verbinder einführen.
Achtung: Steckverbinder nicht auf dem Kabel drehen!
6. Schrumpfschlauch auf dem Steckverbinder in die abgebildete
Lage bringen. Schrumpfschlauch mittels Heißluftgebläse
oder weich eingestellter Flamme schrumpfen, bis eine wet-
terfeste Abdichtung erreicht ist.
