The operation process and precautions of PTZ
camera control on RGBlink mini+
Note: Please make sure your PTZ camera supports the Sony Visca protocol.
1. Connect mini+ and PTZ camera:
1.1 Connect mini+ and PTZ camera directly:
Suppose the IP address of mini+ is 192.168.1.101, and the default IP address of
the PTZ camera is 192.168.100.88.
1.1.1Connect the mini+ to the PTZ camera with a network cable.
1.1.2Press the M button on the mini+ and turn the right rotary knob(Y rotary
knob) to IP SETTING.
1.1.3Modify the IP address of mini+ to 192.168.100.101 by operating the right
rotary knob(Y rotary knob).

Note: When the yellow font is displayed, it is in the editing interface, and the
modification is considered successful until the blue font is displayed on the
interface.
1.2 Connect mini+, PTZ camera and PC via a router:
Suppose my router address is 192.168.1.1 and the default address of the PTZ
camera is 192.168.100.88. Now I need to set the IP addresses of all devices
(mini+, PTZ cameras, PC) to the same network segment address, that is,
192.168.1.x.
1.2.1First set my computer IP to 192.168.100.100 (any one of 192.168.100.2-
192.168.100.254), the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, and leave the others
blank.

1.2.2Connect the computer and the PTZ camera directly through a network
cable.
1.2.3Enter the default IP address of the PTZ camera in the address bar of the
browser, such as http://192.168.100.88/, after opening it, find the LAN
settings, and set the LAN IP address of the PTZ camera to a static IP address
in the same network segment as the router’s, for example, 192.168.1.88.

1.2.4Click the Apply button, and then restart the PTZ camera to make the
configuration effective.
1.2.5Reset the computer's IP address to 192.168.1.100 (any one of 192.168.1.2-
192.168.1.254), the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0, and the others are blank.

1.2.6Then connect mini+, PTZ camera, and PC to the router through network
cables to form a local area network. The topology is as follows:
2. Set the corresponding communication ports to the same on the PTZ camera
and mini+ device, especially the UDP port, as shown in the following figure:
2.1 Set the corresponding communication port on the PTZ camera, such as
UDP port 1259.

2.2 Set the corresponding communication port on mini+, such as UDP port
1259, configuration path: M(Menu)FXPTZ Camera SettingPort on the
control software of mini+.
3. Set the corresponding camera IP on the mini+ to the IP address of the PTZ
camera.

3.1 Press the S button 4 times until the Fx light is on, and the following interface
should be displayed on the mini+.
3.2 Turn the right rotary knob(Y rotary knob) until IP SETTING is selected.
3.3 Set the IP of the camera you want to control to the corresponding IP
address. For example, set the IP address of camera 1 to 192.168.1.88.

3.4 Select ON for the ENABLE option of the corresponding camera.
3.5 Switch back to the Control option, and enter the Control interface, then
you can start to control your PTZ camera.

Note: When operating the camera, mini+ needs to remain in the Control
interface, otherwise the PTZ camera cannot be controlled.
