CARE AND CLEANING
DO NOT scratch or chip the finish. DO NOT use abrasive chemicals for cleaning. Dust often using a clean, soft, dry cloth. Blot spills immediately and wipe
with a clean damp cloth. If the crib is to be stored, store in a cool dry place and carefully package all original hardware to protect from loss.

Note: It may be easier to assemble product with two people.
NOTE: When inserting bolts, turn clockwise until tight. Then loosen 12- 34of a turn. After bunks is completely assembled, return to each bolt and tighten. Use
wax or soap on all bolts to facilitate assembly.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION FOR BUNK BED
1. Follow the information on the WARNINGS appearing on the upper bunk end
structure and on the carton.
2. Always use the specified size mattress, mattress support, or both to help
prevent the likelihood of entrapment or falls.
3. Surface of mattress must be at least 5 inches below the upper edge of
guardrails on top bunk.
4. Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
5. Prohibit more than one person on upper bunk.
6. Periodically check and ensure that the guardrails, ladder, and other
components are in their proper position, free from
damage, and that all connectors are tight.
7. Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the bed.
8. Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
9. Do not use substitute parts. Contact Restoration Hardware for replacement
parts.
10.Use of a night light may provide added safety precaution for a child using
the upper bunk.
11.Use guardrails on both sides of the upper bunk.
12.If the bunk bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrail that runs the full
length of the bed should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment
between the bed and the wall.
13. The use of water flotation mattress is prohibited.
14.STRANGULATION HAZARD - Never attach or hang items to any part of the
bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed: for example, but not
limited to, hooks, belts, and jump ropes

IMPORTANT
These bed parts can be cumbersome and heavy, therefore the assistance of two or more people is recommended in order to prevent personal injury and
ensure the bed parts are not damaged during the assembly process.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lay the headboard and footboard (A) on a flat surface.
2. Align and insert the threaded rod of the feet (J) into the hole on the bottom of the headboard / footboard and turn clockwise to tighten. Refer to
FIGURE 1.
3. Secure the threaded rod (1) to the fixed nut in the headboard and footboard (A) by simply turning it manually.

4. Place the headboard (A) upright in the position you wish the bed to be in when fully assembled. Raise the lower side rail (C) up and place the rod (1)
to align with the bore holes on the end of the lower side rail (C). Put the lower side rail (C) up against the headboard (A) so the threaded rods go
through the bore holes. Insert curved washer (2) and lock washer (3), place hex nuts (4) on threaded rod (1) and tighten hex nuts (4) with wrench
(5). See FIGURE 3. On the other end of the lower side rail, insert honeycomb (total thickness is approximately 160mm) to level the lower side rail.
You may use honeycomb from packing material. The combination of 2 layers honeycomb 50thk and 2 layers honeycomb 30thk is recommended.
5. Repeat the above procedure with the other lower side rail (C) and both of upper side rails (B) to attach it to the headboard (A). KEEP HOLDING
UPPER SIDE RAIL DURING NEXT STEP.
6. Align the threaded rods on the footboard (A) to the corresponding holes at the end of lower side rail (C) and upper side rails (B).
7. Repeat step 4 to attach the side rails to the footboard.

8. Lay the short guardrail (G) on a flat surface. Attach the mending plate (7) to the guardrail according to your desired ladder position. See FIGURE 4.
Please refer to NOTE below.
9. On inside surface of both long and short guardrails (F/G) are pre-installed mending plate, designed to attach to the upper side rails (B). Install the
long and the short guardrails on the upper side rails by screwing the mending plate into the upper side rails, headboard and footboard. Refer to
FIGURE 5 and 6.
NOTE: The short guardrail can be installed at either end of the upper side rails depending on your desired ladder location. The horizontal mending
plate attaches the end of the guardrail to the headboard. Refer to option A and B for the ladder on the right side. Refer to option C and D for the
ladder on the left side.

10. On inside surface of the ladder (H) are metal brackets pre-installed with holes for the screws (6) to pass through. Hook the metal brackets of the
ladder into the upper side rail (B) as well as the brackets on lower side rail (C). Once the ladder is set, fasten the ladder with screws (6) provided
as in FIGURE 7 and 8.
11. Set the bed slats (D) on the slat holders of the upper side rails (B) then fix these slats by using screws (8) provided. See FIGURE 9.
12. There are pre-installed wooden stopper cleats on inside of both lower side rails (C) designed to hold the set of slat roll (E). Place slat roll on both
sides of the lower side rails, with the second to the last slat on either side of the stopper cleat, to hold the slats in place. Once the slats are set,
secure this with screws (8) provided, as in FIGURE 10.

13. Place the platform panels (I) on the upper bunk, then fix them with screws (8). See FIGURE 11.
