Installer, please perform the following steps.
1. Press the touch key.
2. Press and hold for 5 seconds the touch
key.
3. This displays Menu Reference number 1 from
the Installer Conguration Menu. The default
is MS2 (Multi-stage selection). Use the or
touch keys to select to make a selection
of system type.
4. Press once to continue to Menu
Reference number 2 (GAS or ELE).
5. The default is GAS (gas furnace selection.
Use the or touch keys to select ELE
(Electric furnace selection).
6. Press repeatedly to change to the
Remote sensor screen.

7. The default is Remote OFF for (remote
sensor disabled). If no change is required,
then press once to move to the next
Menu Reference number; otherwise, use the
or touch keys to select Remote On
(enables the remote sensor).
8. Press once to move to Menu sub-
selection for setting remote sensor location.
The default is Remote In (Indoor remote
sensor). Use or touch keys if Outdoor
Remote (Outdoor remote sensor) is desired.
9. Press once. If Remote In sub-selection
will change to choose local sensor. Default
is Ls On – Local sensor enabled. Use or
touch keys to change to LS OFF – Local
sensor disabled.

A. Menu selection will skip Dual Fuel setup if Menu Reference number 1 was not changed to HP1 or HP2. If HP1 or HP2 was selected, then Menu selection
for Dual Fuel using software logic or Dual Fuel using outdoor remote sensor will appear on the display depending on the remote sensor selection.
B. Press touch key to exit the Installer Conguration Menu.

Dual Fuel Using Software Logic
(No outdoor sensor)

1. With Remote sensor OFF, press to display
Menu Reference item dF (Dual Fuel feature
using software logic).
2. The default is dF OFF for Dual Fuel feature
disabled. Use the or touch keys to
select dF On to enable the Dual Fuel feature
using the software logic.
3. Press once to move to sub-selection: dF

dual fuel setpoint.
4. Press once to set Cd (Compressor delay).
After the Auxiliary heat is turned on, the
compressor shutdown is delayed for the time
selected (default is 60 seconds).

Dual Fuel Using Outdoor
Remote Sensor
Dual Fuel (dF) On
1. In Menu Reference number 26, use the or
touch keys to select Remote On. This
enables the remote sensor.
2. Press once to move to sub-selection:
Remote In. Use the or touch keys to
select Outdoor Remote, this sets the sensor
to outdoor.
3. Press to move to Menu Reference number
item dF.
4. The default is dF OFF. Use the or touch
keys to select dF On; this enables the dual fuel
feature using the outdoor remote sensor.
5. Press once to move to sub-selection dF
35. Use the or touch keys to change
the dual fuel setpoint above or below 35oF; the
thermostat will change the system over to gas
heat from heat pump when the temperature
falls below the setpoint.

6. Press once to set Cd (Compressor delay).
After the Auxiliary heat is turned on, the
compressor shutdown is delayed for the time

7. Touch once to display Auxiliary
Off (AO). Using or touch keys
set the temperature to 80o. As long as the
outdoor temperature is above the selected
temperature, the auxiliary heat will not turn on.
8. Pressing once will enable the Blower
Balance Point (bP). Toggle or to
set the bP to 80o, this feature de-energizes
the DHM terminal to operate the blower at
a slower speed for rst stage heat when the
outdoor temperature is below the temperature
selected.
9. Press once to move to next menu item.
Dual Fuel (dF) is congured.
10. Press the touch key to exit the Installer
Conguration Menu.
Dual Fuel (dF) OFF
1. With remote sensor enabled and dF(OFF),
pressing once will change to Auxiliary
Off (AO). As long as the outdoor temperature
is above the selected temperature, the
auxiliary heat will not turn on. Using or
touch keys, set the temperature, default is 80o.
2. Pressing once will enable the Blower
Balance Point (bP). Toggle or to set
the bP. This feature de-energizes the DHM
terminal to operate the blower at a slower
speed for rst stage heat when the outdoor
temperature is below the temperature selected.
Default is 80o.
3. Press once to move to next menu item.

4.Press the touch key to exit the Installer
Conguration Menu.

1. Press the touch key.

programming.
NOTE: You can switch to “Cool” mode by
pressing the System touch key at a time.
PROGRAMMING YOUR THERMOSTAT

3.1. Press or touch keys to
change the temperature to your
selected temperature for the 1st heating
period.
3.2. Press or touch keys to adjust
to start time for the period. The time will
change in 15 minute increments.
4. Press the touch key to advance to the
next program period and repeat steps until
all the program times and temperatures are
set for all program periods on that day.

PROGRAMMING YOUR THERMOSTAT
When programming your thermostat,
you may copy the program from one day
to another day or group of days using
the key. In 7-day programming
mode, a day can be copied to another
day or all six other days. In 5/1/1 day
programming mode the weekday (Mon-
Fri) program can be copied into Sat and
Sun or either Sat or Sun.
To Copy a Program from day
to another
1. In Set Schedule mode, enter the program for
the day or select the day you wish to copy by
pressing Advance key.
2. Press . The display will show “Copy”
next to the SYSTEM key and the day of the
week that will be copied.
3. Press . The day being copied will be
indicated and the other days will be ashing.
4. If you wish to copy to all days skip to next step
or press until the day you wish to
copy to is ashing.
5. Press .“Copy” will disappear, the day
you copied from will disappear and the day(s)
you copied to will be on.
6. If you wish to copy this same program into
other day, press and repeat steps 3, 4,
and 5.
7. Press touch key to return to normal
operation.

SET CURRENT TIME AND DAY
On Home Screen display, touch the key to
display additional key choices.
1. Touch once to display hour and AM or
PM designation in clock display.
2. Touch either the or key until you reach
the correct hour and AM or PM designation.
Then touch again to display minutes only
in clock display.
3. Touch and hold either the or keys until
you reach the correct minutes. Then touch
once again to display the day of the
week.
4. Touch either the or key until you reach
the correct day.
Touch to save the Time and Day settings
and return to the Home Screen display.

OPERATING
Touch the SYSTEM key to select:
Cool:
Thermostat controls only the cooling system.
Off:
Heating and Cooling systems are off.
Heat:
Thermostat controls only the heating system.
Em:
Thermostat controls emergency heating only.
Auto:
Auto Changeover is used where both heating and
cooling may be required during the same day. Auto allows
the thermostat to automatically select heating or cooling
depending on the indoor temperature and the selected
heat and cool setpoints. This thermostat will not allow
you to program a conict between Heating and Cooling
setpoints.
