IMPORTANT:
The RXGY-G01 Vent Kit can be used for all above listed
furnace models. Refer to CondensingTankless water heater
manufacturer’s installation instructions for model exclusions!
KIT CONTENTS:
• Vent Cap
• Vent Plate
• 4- # 8 pan head screws 2” long” SMS
type A18-8 stainless steel.
• 4- #8 pan head screws 1” long , SMS
type A18-8 stainless steel.
THIS VENT KIT MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE TECHNICIAN. CODES AND LOCAL UTILITY
REQUIREMENTS GOVERNING THE INSTALLATION OF GAS FIRED EQUIPMENT, WIRING, PLUMBING, AND FLUE
CONNECTIONS MUST BE ADHERED TO. IN THE ABSENCE OF LOCAL CODES, THE INSTALLATION MUST CONFORM
TO THE NATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE ANSI Z223.1 “LATEST EDITION,” OR CSA-B149 INSTALLATION CODES.

This manual covers the installation of the RXGY-G01 side wall vent kit.
The RXGY-G01 is intended for:
Direct Venting:
Non-Direct Vent:
furnace and tankless water heaters
furnaces only

Note : The Vent illustration in Figures 1 & 2 can be used for Non-direct furnace vent termination also.
NOTE:
Install the ventand air intake piping into the vent plate openings. Seal all gaps between the pipes and wall.
Be Sure to Use Silicone Sealant to seal the vent pipe to the vent cap to permit field disassemblyfor annual inspection and cleaning.
Also seal all pipe penetrations in wall. To prevent possibility of condensate freeze-up or recirculation, do not install vent kits one
above the other.
Note:
Vent should protrude a maximum of 2-1/4” beyond
vent plate. Air intake should protrude a maximum
of 1 inch beyond vent plate. Use the vent plate as a
template to locate vent, combustion air and (4)
mounting holes. Observe minimum clearances.
Cut (2) 3-7/8” diameter holes for the vent and
combustion air openings.
Drill (4) 3/16” diameter holes for inserting the
plastic anchors into the wall.
Attach the vent plate to the wall with (4) - 2” long
stainless steel screws.
Assemble the vent cap to the vent plate . Insert the
(4) 1” long stainless steel screws into the vent cap screw
hole openings and securley attach the vent cap to the
vent plate. Seal all wall cavities.
