Bagless Canister Vacuum
USER GUIDE

When using an electrical appliance, basic precaution should always
be followed, including the following.
Please read all instructions before using this vacuum cleaner.
WARNING – To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury:
1. Do not leave vacuum cleaner when plugged
in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before servicing.
2. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
3. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close
attention is necessary when used by near
children.
4. Use only as described in this manual. Use
only manufacturers recommend attachments.
5. Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If
vacuum is not working as it should, had been
dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped
into water, enter it to a service center.
6. Do not pull or carry on cord, use cord as a
handle, close door on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not run
vacuum cleaner over cord. Keep cord away
from heated surfaces.
7. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug,
grasp the plug, not the cord.
8. Do not handle plug or vacuum cleaner unit
with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into openings. Do not
use with any opening blocked. Keep free
of dust, lint, hair and anything that may
reduce airflow.

of body away from openings and moving part.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.

12. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
13. Do not use to pick up flammable or
combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use

ASSEMBLY
1. Connect the hose to the canister body. Once it snaps, it is in place. To disconnect the hose, squeeze
the snaps located on the side of the hose connection and pull out.
2. Connect the handle to the telescopic wand by aligning the insert and securing it in place. Once it
snaps, it is in place.
3. Connect the desired floor brush to the end of the telescopic wand by aligning the insert and secu
ing it in place. To remove, press the snap located on the front of the tool and pull apart.
4. Snap the tool holder in place, under the handle. Put the dusting brush and the crevice cool.
5. Open the battery cover, located on the top of the handle, and place the two AAA batteries.

1. VARIABLE SUCTION
This machine is equipped with variable suction control to easily go from cleaning carpets and hard
floors to delicate surfaces like drapes and upholstery.
a. Power Button: Once the vacuum is plugged in, press the main power button to activate the remote
control. You may use the remote control power button, located on the handle, to place the unit on
standby (off).
Note: If the remote control is not working, check the placement of the batteries in the handle.
b. Increase Button “+”: Press to increase suction power.
c. Reduce Button “-”: Press to decrease suction power for use on delicate surfaces.
Note: The lights on the base of the canister will indicate the level of power suction.
d. When using remote control, do not cover the infrared emitter or block the infrared receiver on the
bodytoensureefcientcommunicationbetweenemitterandreceiver.

2. HARD FLOOR TOOL
The hard floor tool is equipped to clean hard floor surfaces such as wood, tile, and laminate. This tool is
idealforremovingnedirtanddebrisonhardflooring.
Note: The roller brush will only rotate on hard floor surfaces. It can be used to clean carpet but the
brush will not rotate.
3. CARPET TOOL
Multi-surface brush switch has retractable brushes to clean both carpet and hardwood floor surfaces.
Set the multi-surface brush switch to the carpet position (brushes should retract). Set the multi-surface
brush switch to the hard floor position (brushes should be visible).
4. STORAGE
There are two storage options:
a. Locatethegroovebehindbythepost-motorlterand
connect the floor tool to the base. OR
b. Locate the groove underneath of the canister and
connect the telescopic wand.

OPERATIONS
1. Locate the power cord on the back of the unit and plug in. The power cord can be pulled out until
the yellow mark is visible. DO NOT PULL OUT past the red mark on the cord.
2. Turn on the vacuum by pressing the power button on the base of the canister. The vacuum starts
3. After each use or when the dust cup reaches the MAX line, turn off the machine and remove the
dust cup from the base of the machine, by opening the lid and pulling up. To empty, locate the
yellow tab that says “push” and push to empty.
4. When cleaning is complete, power off the vacuum by using the remote control on the handle
(placing it on standby). Then press the power button on the base of the canister to turn the vacuum
completely off.
5. Unplug the vacuum from the electrical outlet.
Thermal motor protection
An internal thermal protector has been designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheating. When
the thermal protector activates, the main vacuum motor will stop operating. If this happens, proceed as
follows:
• Turn the cleaner OFF and unplug from electrical outlet.
• Checkthecleanerforthesourceofoverheatingproblem(i.e.fulldirtcup,dirtyltersorclog).
• Fix the problem by following the steps in the maintenance section of the user guide.
• When the motor cools for approximately 30 minutes, the thermal protector will reset and cleaning
may continue. If the cleaner will not turn on or the thermal protector continues to activate, your
cleaner may need servicing.

CARE AND STORAGE
To maintain maximum performance, perform these simple maintenance steps.
1. Filter assembly, cleaning and replacement
a. Remove the dirt bin from the base of the canister.
b. Locatethelteronthebackofthedirtbinandpullthelatchestoseparatethelterfromthebin.
c. Separatethepleatedlterfromthefoamlter.
d. Cleanpleatedlterbytappingitlightlyagainstthetrashcan.
e. Thefoamltercanberinsedunderwater.Makesurethelterisdrybeforereplacing.
f. Reassemble the components.
2. Post-motorltercleaningandreplacement
a. Locatetheexhaustlteronthebackofthecanister.
b. Removethelterbypullingdownonthetabandpullingout.
c. Separatethelterfromthedoor.
d. Tapoutthelterfromthedoor.
e. Reassemble the components.
3. Hardoortoolcleaning
a. Use a coin or slotted screwdriver to turn the knob from lock to unlock and remove the brush cover.
b. Remove the brush from the chamber for cleaning.
c. Replace the brush and secure the cover making sure to lock it in place.
IMPORTANT:Donotoperatecleanerwithdamporwetltersorwithoutallltersinplace.
