Descrizione generale
Rialto SmaRt Switch è un dispositivo compatto e facile da utilizzare per l’ali-
mentazione e l’azionamento di un carico/apparecchio elettrico con tensione
di rete.
Rialto SmaRt Switch può anche essere associato ad un teRmoStato Rialto
per attivare/disattivare automaticamente il dispositivo collegato, in funzione
della temperatura rilevata dal termostato. Ha inoltre funzione di ripetitore
del segnale wireless della rete.
Requisiti minimi
Per utilizzare Rialto SmaRt Switch sono necessari:
/ Una whitebox Rialto precedentemente installata (presente in tutti i
Rialto Kit)
/ Dispositivo mobile (smartphone/tablet) con sistema operativo Android
o Apple iOS

Avvertenze di sicurezza
Tutti i collegamenti hardware devono essere effettuati da personale quali-
ficato o consapevole dei rischi di un’installazione tenendo conto dei minimi
standard di sicurezza ed in assenza di tensione in ingresso.

stallazione, configurazione e utilizzo dei prodotti per il raggiungimento dei

Attenzione
Rialto SmaRt Switch deve essere utilizzato in ambienti interni ed asciutti, evitan-
do il posizionamento in luoghi soggetti ad elevata umidità e/o spruzzi d’acqua.
Non collegare a Rialto SmaRt Switch:
/ Apparecchiature medicali: la disattivazione involontaria può causare
pericolo di morte
/ Utilizzatori che possano provocare danni, lesioni o incendi in caso di
attivazione involontaria (ad es. ferri da stiro)

/ Carichi che possono essere danneggiati da attivazione / spegnimenti
frequenti
/ Utilizzatori / carichi che non possono essere interrotti
/ Informarsi presso il produttore del dispositivo collegato se questo è
idoneo al controllo tramite temporizzatore. Configurare Rialto SmaRt
Switch in modo tale che il dispositivo collegato non venga attivato o
disattivato più frequentemente di quanto indicato dal produttore del
dispositivo stesso.
Manutenzione
Per pulire i dispositivi Rialto SmaRt Switch, togliere alimentazione ed usare
un panno leggermente inumidito. Non utilizzare liquidi solventi. Non im-
mergere in liquidi. In caso di guasto, non smontare o provare a riparare il
prodotto, al fine di mantenere la garanzia.

NOTA: il LED non fornisce indicazioni sullo stato di comunicazione wire-

Installazione
1. Togliere alimentazione all’impianto elettrico nel luogo di installazione
2. Fissare Rialto SmaRt Switch alla parete/supporto ed eseguire i collega-
menti come da schema (fig. 1)
3. Ripristinare l’alimentazione dell’impianto
4. Verificare che il LED di segnalazione sia acceso (rosso lampeggiante)
5. Avviare la app “Rialto”, selezionare “Aggiungi un dispositivo” per ini-
ziare la procedura di aggiunta di SmaRt Switch alla propria rete Rialto
6. Seguire la procedura guidata descritta dalla App per aggiungere uno
Smart Switch alla propria rete Rialto

Verifica installazione
7. Il LED su Rialto SmaRt Switch deve essere acceso rosso fisso (non lam-
peggiante)
8. Aprire la app “Rialto”ed accedere alla pagina di gestione del nuovo
dispositivo aggiunto
9. Provare ad accendere e spegnere il dispositivo attraverso il comando
ON/OFF: se correttamente collegato si sentirà scattare il relè e cambierà
il colore del LED.
ATTENZIONE: in caso di copertura insufficiente del segnale wireless tra Rialto
SmaRt Switch e centralina whitebox visitare il sito www.rialtocomfort.com o
contattare il Servizio Assistenza.

General description
The Rialto SmaRt Switch is a compact and user-friendly device intended
for powering and operating an electrical load/appliance at mains voltage.
The Rialto SmaRt Switch can also be paired with a Rialto theRmoStat so that
the connected load or appliance can be activated/deactivated automatically
in response to the temperature registering at the thermostat. It also func-
tions as a Rialto network wireless signal repeater.
Minimum requirements
To use the Rialto SmaRt Switch, the following items are required:
/ A previously installed Rialto whitebox (included in all Rialto KitS)
/ A mobile device (smartphone/tablet) with Android or Apple iOS
operating system

Safety warnings
All hardware connections must be made by a person who is suitably quali-
fied and aware of the risks associated with installation, observing minimum
standards of safety, and with the equipment isolated from the power supply.

Caution
The Rialto SmaRt Switch must be used only indoors and in dry conditions, and
not positioned in places exposed to high levels of humidity and/or water splash.
Do not use the Rialto SmaRt Switch to connect:
/ Medical equipment: accidental deactivation could have fatal
consequences
/ Appliances that can cause damage, injury or fire in the event of
accidental activation (e.g. electric irons)
/ Loads that could be damaged by frequent on/off switching cycles
/ Appliances/loads that cannot be switched off
/ Consult the manufacturer of the connected device to find out whether

it is suitable for use in conjunction with a timer. Configure the Rialto
SmaRt Switch in such a way that the connected device will not be
activated or deactivated more frequently than indicated by the
manufacturer of the device.
Maintenance
To clean a Rialto SmaRt Switch, isolate it from the power supply and wipe
with a slightly moist cloth. Do not use solvents. Do not immerse in liquids.
Should the product develop a fault, do not open it up or attempt to repair it,
as this will invalidate the guarantee.

Installation
1. Shut off the electrical power supply where the product is to be installed
2. Fix the Rialto SmaRt Switch to the wall or other mounting surface and
make the connections as in the diagram (fig. 1)
3. Restore electrical power
4. Check that the indicator Led is alight (red and blinking)
5. Start the “Rialto” app, select “Add device” to initiate the procedure that
will add the SmaRt Switch to the Rialto network
6. Follow the guided procedure provided by the App for adding a SmaRt
Switch to the Rialto network
