CIRCUIT BREAKER
(OVERLOAD RELAY FOR MOTOR PROTECTION)
WHIPPER / PULSE TECHNIQUE / INCHER
Operations like chopping & mincing sometimes need better consistency. To
agitate the food that is being processed in the food processor processing is
done in short bursts in lieu off continuous motion. This is achieved by
using the whipper speed by switching the machine on/off, this technique is
known as pulse technique.
We have provided a Circuit Breaker (CB) in
Many times, without realising, people tend to
overload the food processor, by putting more
material in the jar than recommended. This
results in the motor getting overloaded and
eventually burning out. In order to protect
your food processor from burning out, we
have provided a special overload relay known
This circuit breaker works just like the

Cleaning the grinder unit
lWipe it with a soft clean cloth & keep aside.
Cleaning the blades
lRemove the blades carefully. Clean the blades in running water.
lDry the blades before storing.
lIt is advisable to apply oil on the stainless steel cutting blades when the
appliance is stored for a long duration.
Cleaning of Citrus & Centrifugal Juicer
lUnlock & remove the strainer. Remove the pulp into a garbage bin.
lWash the blade & strainer under running water. Dry well before
storing.
How to Knead (Dough)
Place the plastic blade & then place the flour to be kneaded in the bowl.
Start the machine & through the feeder tube add water. Start with less
water & keep adding, as too much water may make the dough stick. Let the
dough form into a ball & let it move approx. 25 times around the bowl so
that it becomes soft & smooth. Even dough of pizza bases, pastries can be
made.
Tip : Water should be less than ½ the quantity of atta (dough).
eg : If 2 full measuring tumbler of dough are taken ¾ measuring tumbler
of water should be added.
14 15
How to Crumb (Bread)
Position the S. S. Blade in the bowl. Cut the bread into pieces. You can use
fresh or dry bread. Continue processing until crumbs of desired quantity
are not formed. Biscuits, nuts, chocolate etc. can also be crumbed in the
same way.
How to Wet Grind (Dals)
The dal should be soaked overnight. Put the dal in the grinding jar. First use
the pulse technique & then run it continuously till desired smoothness is
achieved for better results. Similarly dosa, idli, vada mixes & chutneys can
How to Chop (Onions)
First peel & quarter the onions, position the S. S. Blade & then put the
onions. Use the pulse technique to chop the onions. As short bursts of
movements stir the food, chopped results obtained are more even. In this
same way all hard vegetables are chopped. Small items can be dropped
through the feeder tube while the machine is running. The load should be
medium for optimum results.
How to Make Potato Chips (French Fries)
Start with peeling of potatoes, then flatten the end surfaces by cutting thin
slices. Place the chipping disc. Put the potatoes vertically through the
feeder tube so that the flat end rests on the disc. Using the pusher apply
pressure throughout. Place the potatoes horizontally for longer chips.
Other vegetables & fruits can also be done in the same way for salads &
garnishing.
be ground.

How To Crush (Ice)
To crush ice use the S. S. Blade. Put the ice cubes through the feeder tube.
Start the machine. After processing is stopped if one or two large pieces of
ice remain, discard them. Hard & frozen cheese can also be grated in the
same way. In this process it is not unusual for the machine to move so do
not place it on the edge of the counter.
Whipping (Thick Coffee Shake)
This operation is performed with the help of the whipping blade. One tea
spoon of coffee, two tea spoon sugar, ¼ cup water. Run the food processor
for 30 seconds and the thick coffee paste is ready. Serve with hot milk.
For Cold Coffee - add coffee & crushed ice & run the food processor for
30 seconds. You will get thick cold coffee paste. Serve with sweetened
milk.
How to Whisk Eggs
The Whipping blade is an excellent attachment for whisking. It beats the
egg white & makes it very thick. However, the bowl & whipping blade
Tip : For best results use fresh eggs or bring the refrigerated eggs to the
room temperature before beating.
Method :
Pour the egg white in the bowl.
Run the machine for a few seconds. A thick frothy mixture will be
formed.
Add the egg yolk & beat for a few seconds.

beetroot can be used in salads. Coconut & cheese can also be shredded in
the same manner.
How to Slice (Cucumbers)
To start with, position the slicing blade in the bowl. Put the cucumber in the
feeder tube. Start the machine, apply light pressure for thinner slices.
Carrots, brinjals, boiled eggs etc. can be sliced also. Tip : Seeds & cores
must be removed before putting the fruit into the feeder tube.
How to Julienne (Carrots)
Peel & cut carrots & place the shredding blade in the bowl. Place the carrots
in the feeder tube. Start the machine. Capsicum, cucumber can also be
julienned similarly.
How to Mince (Meat)
For mincing, place the S. S. Blade in the bowl. Leave some fat on the meat
for moistness. Run the machine. For kababs you can use the pulse technique
also.
How to Mash (Potatoes)
