The Light Industrial Master Stations
AA912 and AA912-F are compact,
splash and dust resistant units and
very strong in construction.
The AA912 is the surface model
completely delivered with the
backbox BF961.
The AA912-F is for flush mounting
and comes with a light backbox for
EMC protection, MKE3078. When an
optional backbox is needed for
concrete mounting, the unit BF964
must be ordered.
The stations are ideally suited for
applications in loading areas,
garages, repair workshops, ware-
houses etc. where a lower-cost,
robust wall mounted master station
is often needed.
The keypad is of the membrane
switch type. The station provides full
handsfree voice-controlled (duplex)
communication, the speaker and
microphone allow for normal
handsfree conversation with a range
of approx. 3-5 meters or 10-15 feet.
The membrane keypad section
contains a warning lamp (red LED),
14 buttons for dialling and 1 button
(M) for microphone cut-off, (mute
when pressed during a conversa-
tion). The digit buttons (0-9) are for
call number dialling and the T-button
is provided for manual control of a
conversation when desired. The X-
button is used to cancel the call. The
* (star) and # (pound sign) buttons
are feature buttons.
The station permits the connection
of a parallel loudspeaker where
additional output is required (loud-
speaker impedance 50 ohm recom-
mended, min. 16 ohm).
The AA912/AA912-F are designed
for integration with all Ring-Master
master- and/or substations operating
on RM5000 and CB901 centrals and
to utilize all system features.
If softspeaking confidential conversa-
tion mode is required, an optional
handset module can be added.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES:
External Lamp Control
The station has an output for control-
ling an external lamp. When press-
ing key ”9” or an external parallel
installed CALL button, the external
lamp is switched ON. When the call
is cancelled, the external lamp is
switced off.
Remote Keys
The keys "3", "6" and "9" and also
the cancel key "X" can be activated
remotely. External buttons can be
installed and wired to the station for
activating the direct dialling features
programmed for these buttons. Any
call
number (or CAS group) can be
activated. When key "9" is activated,
the external lamp (if installed) is
switched ON. Pressing "X" will switch
the lamp OFF.
