This guide is for use by qualified electrical professional and/or homeowners.
This guide takes you through a sequence of steps that MUST be
followed. Skipping steps will prevent you from being able to
successfully detect and resolve a problem.
All electric tankless units are designed to be checked with a multi-clamp
volt meter (pictured right) to measure for both voltage and amperage.
Below is an inside view of an electric tankless water heater.
Always write down any volt meter readings/results before contacting
technical support.
NOTE:
When the power supply voltage is lower than 115V, the water heater is
in a non-powered state and stop working.
The rated voltage is 240VAC. If the connected power supply is 208VAC,
please turn the dial switch on the display PCB to the upper side with a
slotted screwdriver.

Activity A | Flow Meter Troubleshooting
The flow meter is located on the inlet side of the water heater and has 4 Phillips head
screws and a small black wire (see image above). The flow meter is equipped with a
small propeller that must spin freely counter clockwise in order to activate heater. The
flow meter controls the activation of the water heater by sensing water flow. If the flow
meter is functioning properly, the LED display will illuminate once water is flowing
through the system and will continue to stay illuminated while water is running. If the
LED display not illuminated while water is running, follow the step as below.

Right order as shown in the pictures below
1.Remove 4 screws
2.Open cover with flat head screwdriver
3.Take out rotor and clean Install rotor and check seal ring in position or loose the nuts
in inlet if necessary and take out rotor to clean.
4. Place parts back together making sure the impeller is spinning freely and that all the
components are in it.
5.After tightening the two fittings on the device, turn on the hot water faucet and let the
water flow through the device for about 2 to 3 minutes to ensure that all air is
discharged from the water pipe. If this step is not followed, it may cause permanent
damage to the heating elements.
6.. Turn on power to the unit and verify if the display remains illuminated with water
running. Let water run for approximately 45/60 seconds, within this time the unit should
be heating water.
Note:
1.Turn off the power circuit and shut off water feeding before maintenance.
2.Take care of the water leakage during maintenance.

Activity B | LED light is off , but unit is not heating.（the green light
off）
This phenomenon is due to the fact that the water heater is not properly energized and
the water heater cannot operate normally.
Follow these steps to test the power board. This activity should take 3 – 5 minutes.
Turn off breaker
1. Once breaker is off, turn round knob to ensure no power is at unit. Board should not
light up if correct breaker is off.
2. If board does illuminate the correct breaker was not turned off.
Turn OFF incoming water line
Right order as shown in the pictures below：
1.Unscrew front cover of unit.
In order to remove the front cover you will need to unscrew 4 phillip head screws
located on each corner of the cover.
.Two screws located on top of cover facing up and two screws located on the bottom of
cover facing down.
2.Check terminal fasten or not

3. Cover is located on the upper right had side of unit and secured with 4 Philips head
screws.
4. Run the tankless water heater
Run hot water tap at sink for approximately 2/3 mins. Within this time, the unit should
begin to heat water.
6. Make sure green light is illuminated on heater. If not, Make sure the correct breaker
was turned on.Issue resolved.
If the green light still off on the water heater, then the power board need to be replaced.
Issues not resolved
If the water heater still does not heat up, please replace with a new power board
NOTE
Turn off the power circuit and shut off water feeding before

Activity C |LED light is off, but unit is not heating.（the green light
on）
This phenomenon is due to the fact that the water heater is not properly turned on
and the water heater is not operating normally.
Please follow the steps below
1. The circuit breaker is closed and energized, all the lights are on, the display is
also on, and it enters the standby state.
The power indicator, heating indicator and digital display are all on for 3 seconds for
self-test (the power indicator is bright green, the heating indicator is bright red, and
the digital display shows red 8888), except for the power indicator, heating indicator
and digital It turns off after 3 seconds of display (the power indicator is green, and
the heating indicator and the display are not finished.
2. First use, please open the water valve and press the knob. When you hear a click,
it means it is turned on, the heating indicator lights up in red, and the display screen
lights up. After a delay of 2 seconds, the water heater starts to operate. Turn the
family button to set and adjust the temperature.
3. If the water heater gently presses the switch, it still does not light up, and the
control board may be broken. Replace the control board.

Activity C |LED display light is illuminated on heater, but unit is

Activity F |LED display light is illuminated on heater, but unit is
heating Intermittently（the red light off）
When the LED display light is illuminated on heater, but unit is heating Intermittentl
（the red light off）,the display board is broken .Pls replace the display board.
Please follow the steps below
1.Unscrew front cover of unit.
In order to remove the front cover you will need to unscrew 4 phillip head screws
located on each corner of the cover.
Two screws located on top of cover facing up and two screws located on the bottom
of cover facing down.
2. Remove screws
3. Remove display
4. Replace with the new display
5. Secure with 4 screws
6. Install PCB
7. Connect with terminals
8. 8.Check terminal fasten or not
9. Secure PCB

Activity A |LED display light is illuminated on heater, but unit is
heating Intermittently （the red light on）
If the LED display light is illuminated on heater, but unit is heating Intermittently（the
red light on. The unit is reading an incoming water temperature of less degrees .
This heater is equipped with 2 - 3 thermostats (depending on you model) all rated a
37 F. This unit is reading to heat at low degrees, the water heater will stop
heating.
There are three ways to start up the tankless water heater for heating.
1.Turn clockwise to improve the set temperature to high temperature. Once the
unit is receiving water high temperature. The LED display will
illuminate with desired set temperature .
2. Adjust the position of the mixing valve to reduce the water flow and increase the
water temperature.
3. The hose is assembled correctly
In the case of reverse connection, our water heater will heat for 3-10 minutes, but
then it will become cold water. (This is a phenomenon reported by some customers).
The cause of this phenomenon is the reverse connection of the hot water pipe. For
this special case, please check according to the figure below.

Please pay attention to the connection between the water heater and the sprinkler and
faucet.
The left is the hot water ,the right is the water inlet.
Here is how to check whether the water heater is installed correctly
1.Turn off the right cold water pipe water valve and the left hot water pipe water
valve.
2.Open the metal pipe of the left water outlet pipe, and then open the valve of the
right water inlet pipe to see if there is water from the pipe on the left side of the
machine .
3.If the water comes out, it means the connection is correct.
