1. FOREWORD
Please read this manual carefully before installation and use. This manual provides
the necessary information for correct installation, regulation, operation, and
maintenance.
In production, the unit strictly follows the design standards to ensure that the unit can
always be in a safe and high-quality operating state, providing a high degree of
reliability and excellent adaptability.
Please kindly understand that we will not take any responsibility for the wrong
installation and regulation, unnecessary maintenance, and the injury to personnel or
damage to machinery caused by non-compliance with the provisions or instructions of
this manual.
The highest water outlet temperature is 60℃, and the water temperature should be
adjusted to the appropriate temperature during use (the most comfortable water
temperature for the human body is 38~42℃. Using water temperature higher than
50℃will have the risk of scalding).
The grounding terminal of the unit must be reliably grounded, or it may cause damage
to the unit.
Anti-leakage protection device must be installed on the power supply side of the unit,
otherwise, it may cause damage to the unit.
The Y-type filter must be installed at the inlet of the water side heat exchanger (at least
20 mesh).
The water-side heat exchanger of the unit shall not have weld slag, iron scrap, sand
and other solid impurities flowing into it, otherwise,it will damage the water-side heat
exchanger of the unit.
The unit shall not be used in the corrosive gas environment.
When the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃and the unit is not in use for more
than 1 hour after power off, please unscrew the sewage outlet of the unit to avoid
freezing in winter, otherwise,it will not be guaranteed within the warranty period (when
the unit is in standby state, it has the automatic anti-freezing function).
Water system installation precautions:
1Filters and valves for easy cleaning of the unit should be installed at the inlet and
outlet pipes.
2Pressure gauges and thermometers must be installed on the inlet and outlet
water pipes to monitor the operation of the water system and equipment.
3The water flow cannot exceed the appropriate range.
4When running at full load, the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet
of the unit should be between 4 and 6 °C.
5. The water quality should meet the following requirements, otherwise it will affect the
reliability of the unit.

3. INSTALLATION
3.1 Unit installation
Installation location
(1) Enough space for installation and maintenance.
(2) No blockage at the air inlet and outlet.
(3) The unit is installed in a well-ventilated place, which can bear the weight of the unit and
can be installed horizontally without increasing the mechanical sound and vibration.
(4) The air discharged from the heat pump does not affect the neighborhood and there is
no flammable gas leakage.
(5) Snow shelters should be built in winter.
(6) There shall be drainage pipes around the unit to remove condensed water.
(7) Installation location should be convenient for the installation and maintenance of
piping and electrical connections.
(8) If installed on the roof, it is needed to increase typhoon and lightning protection
electrical measures.
(9) Do not install the control panel in the bathroom, so as not to affect the normal work of
the unit due to humidity.
(10)Sufficient space should be left around the unit, as shown in the figure below.

Notice
(1) A place where there are mineral oils such as cutting oil.
(2) Places such as the seaside where the water has a lot of salt in the air.
(3) Corrosive gases such as sulfur gas, acidity, or alkalinity exist in hot spring areas.
(4) Where the supply voltage fluctuates seriously and there is a strong electromagnetic
wave.
(5) A place filled with oil, gas, and oils, such as the kitchen.
Foundation installation
The installation foundation of the unit can be made of concrete structure or steel
bracket, and the surface of the foundation is smooth (the foundation design is designed
according to the operation quality of the unit, refer to the technical energy reference table).
Rubber vibration absorber must be placed under the heat pump unit on the foundation, and
then fixed with bolts, adjust the unit installation to be horizontal, tilt < 2 degrees. There shall
be a condensate water outlet of the unit on the ground.
Selection of water tank
If the heat pump water heater was purchased without a water tank, please select the
water tank according to the following requirements. The heat pump water heater can be
equipped with an open water tank and a pressurized water tank.
a. Open water tank:
Water tank can afford the full water pressure.
For appliances having a capacity of more than 15L and which cannot be emptied
through a drain outlet installed in a water pipe, a discharge device shall be fitted with which
a tool can be used to enable them to work. (The discharge unit can be combined with the
pressure release unit)
This unit has the water level control output, no need to add the water level control
equipment.
b. Pressurized water tank:
If no pressure relief device is installed inside the water tank, the pressure relief device
must be installed on the waterway installation, and the parameter is set as 0.7MPa.
Water can flow out of the pressure relief unit's drain pipe, and the drain pipe should be
kept in contact with the atmosphere.
The pressure release device should be operated regularly to remove calcium
carbonate deposits and guarantee the device is not clogged.
The rated pressure of the closed heat pump water heater designed to be connected to
the water source should be at least 0.6MPa.
For appliances having a capacity of more than 15L and which cannot be emptied
through a drain outlet installed in a water pipe, a discharge device shall be fitted with which
a tool can be used to enable them to work. (The discharge unit can be combined with the
pressure release unit).
This unit is equipped with high, medium, and low water level automatic water
replenishment control functions. For the closed water tank, the output line of high, medium,
and low water level control should be short-connected.

3.3 Circuit Connection
Notice!
Installation must be done by qualified professionals in accordance with the wiring diagram
on the unit. Installation shall be in accordance with the national wiring code.
Before installation, confirm if the local voltage agrees with the voltage of the nameplate and
if the load capacity of the power socket is agree with the requirement of the input power of
the heat pump unit.
Article 25.7 of GB4706.32-2012 stipulates that the power cord installed outdoors in the unit
shall not be lighter than the neoprene armored flexible cord (No. 57 in IEC 60245). The
wire diameter specification of the power cord is selected according to the nameplate-rated
maximum current, as shown in the following table:

Regulation of the fuse: Subject to material object.
The user shall not change the power cord without authorization. The wiring shall be
arranged by a qualified electrician and the metal part of the machine shall be well
grounded. The way of grounding the machine shall not be changed without.
The all-pole disconnection device and leakage protection device match the unit and at
least a 3mm distance from the power supply must be installed when the power supply is
connected.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a professional from the manufacturer
or a similar department to avoid danger.
Do not insert hands or foreign matter into the air outlet of the heat pump water heater unit,
which may cause danger to personnel and equipment.
The wired controller shall be fixed and installed with screws in the indoor environment over
1.5m high. It is forbidden to install in a humid, rain-soaked, acidic, corrosive environment

where the light shines directly.
The water quality of the unit must conform to the national standard of domestic water;
otherwise, the company will not take any responsibility for machine damage.

4. TRIAL OPERATION
4.1 Check before trial operation
A trial operation must be carried out after the installation.
Please confirm the following items before the trial run, and tick √ in the box after
confirmation.
After all wiring and piping work is completed and checked carefully, the power can be
switched on and the tank can be filled with water.
To clean the air in the pipeline and water tank, press the "switch" button on the
operation panel to operate the unit at the set temperature.
The unit should be checked during trial operation:
Power on for the first time to check whether the running current of the unit is normal.
Whether the function keys of the operation panel are normal.
Whether the display screen is displayed normally.
Whether the whole system has leakage.
Whether the drainage of condensed water is normal.
Whether there is abnormal sound and vibration when operating.

5. INSTRUCTION OF CONTROL FUNCTION
5.1 Controller panel

and then use the key to select [Status Query] to view the unit
parameters. Press or to view the parameters of various
types of unit modules, and then press the key to query the
system status parameters.

Timing set
In the main interface, press the key in the unlocked state,
then press the key , select [Clock Inquiry], and press the
key to enter the clock inquiry and setting.
Press the key to select month/day/year/hour/minute/second,
press or to set, press save and exit.

Timer set
In the main interface, in the unlocked state, press the key ,
press the key , enter [Timer Setting] interface, press the
key again, press or set the timer to use, press the
key and save it;
Press to select one time or 01-10 groups of time,
press to select time type, select on or off time, press to
select clock, minute and week, then press to save and
return.

Mode switch
In the main interface, in the standby state, press or
to enter the setting interface. After pressing the key , when
the mode status shows a black background, press or to
switch the mode, and automatically save and exit the main
interface after 3 seconds.

5.2 Interface overview
Key switching
Five keys: ON/OFF, Function, Up , Down, Enter.
Note:
In the branch interface (except the countdown interface and the main interface), if the
keypad is not utilized for 1-minute, then the system will automatically return to the main
interface.
When "▲" is displayed on the right side of the interface, it means the user can press
<Up/Add> to achieve a page turn.
When the right side of the interface displays "▼", it means the user can press <Down/Sub>
to scroll down.
When the interface prompts "operation is currently prohibited, but operation is available
XX-seconds later," it means there is another screen operating and it needs to wait. After
XX-seconds, the interface can be operated.
Icon
Meaning
Indicates temperature.
Indicates page up, parameter selection, or increasing value.
Indicates page down, parameter selection, or decreasing value.
Indicates whether the unit uses timing function.
Indicates the icon of functional keys. It is only used for Menu, Cancellation,
Return and Shift.
Indicates the icon of confirming keys. It is only used for Enter, Confirmation,
Noise Reduction, Reset and Switching Module.
Indicates the icon of ON/OFF. It is only used for starting or shutting down the
unit.

【5】Indicates to select 01 group timing. Press <Up> or <Down> to switch among use
of timing, primary timing and setting from 01 group to 10# group. After entering
the selected timing item, press <Enter> key to change the set timing On/Off,
Hour and Minute, Week (1, 2···7; when week is selected, the corresponding will
flash). Press <Up> or <Down> key to change the selected value. Inverse display
of week (1, 2···7) indicates that timing is effective on the day. As shown in the
figure above, shutdown will be performed at 21:00 on Friday and Saturday.
Note: If the timing is set to 00:00, it indicates the function is not used.

Description:
【1】Indicates to return to the interface of previous level by pressing <Function> key.
【2】Press <Enter> key to switch among different module interfaces. In the interface,
the status of all modules of the unit may be inquired. The module number is subject
to the actual number of modules. The last item is the system module and indicates
the system status.
【3】Display the operation status of output equipment corresponding to modules.
Shadow display: indicates what the equipment is outputting at present. As shown in
the figure above, 1# compressor of 00# module have output.
Normal display indicates no output such as 1# four-way valve.
【4】Display the analog quantity signal of corresponding system module.
【5】Display the analog quantity information of corresponding 00# module.
