Die Montage- und Bedienungsanleitung
richtet sich an Personen, die Einrichtungen
der Informations- und Telekommunikations-
technik unter Kenntnis der länderspezifischen
Sicherheitsvorschriften am Bestimmungsort
aufstellen, anschließen und betreiben.
1.1 Aufbewahrung der Unterlagen
Die Dokumentation ist Teil des Produktes. Sie
muss dem Anlagenbetreiber ausgehändigt
werden. Dieser übernimmt die Aufbewahrung,
damit die Unterlagen im Bedarfsfall zur Verfü-
gung stehen.

1.3 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
◾ Das Automatic Door Opening wird zur
Zwangsbe-/Entlüftung des VX IT in Notfall-
situationen eingesetzt.
◾ Das Automatic Door Opening ist als
Zubehör nur für das VX IT Schranksystem
zugelassen.
◾ Das Automatic Door Opening ist nur für eine
statische Aufstellung vorgesehen.
◾ Das Automatic Door Opening darf nicht in
einer Umgebung verwendet werden, die
eine höhere Schutzart als IP 20 erfordert.
◾ Überprüfen Sie die korrekte Funktion des
Systems einmal jährlich.

Es gelten zusätzlich die Montage- und
Bedienungsanleitungen des Schranksystems
VX IT und des CMC III Door Control Moduls
(7030.501).

tions have been written for personnel tasked
with assembling, connecting and operating
IT and telecommunications equipment at the
intended location and who are familiar with the
country-specific safety regulations.
1.1 Storing the documents
These assembly and operating instructions
are part of the product. They must be given to
the plant operator, who is then responsible for
the storage of the documents so that they are
readily available when needed.

1.3 Intended use
◾ Automatic Door Opening is used to force
ventilation of the VX IT rack in emergency
situations.
◾ Automatic Door Opening is only approved
as an accessory function for the VX IT rack
system.
◾ Automatic Door Opening is only intended for
non-mobile use.
◾ Automatic Door Opening must not be used
in environments which require a degree of
protection greater than IP 20.
◾ Check the correct functioning of the system
once a year.
1.4 Other applicable documents
The assembly and operating instructions of the
VX IT enclosure system and the CMC III Door
Control Module (7030.501) also apply.

1.3 Utilisation correcte
◾ L’ouverture automatique des portes est
utilisée pour la ventilation / l’aération forcée
des baies VX IT en cas d’urgence.
◾ L’ouverture automatique des portes est
homologuée comme accessoires unique-
ment pour les baies VX IT.
◾ L’ouverture automatique des portes est
uniquement conçue pour une installation
statique.
◾ L’ouverture automatique des portes ne doit
pas être utilisée dans un environnement qui
nécessite un indice de protection supérieur
à IP 20.
◾ Vérifier le fonctionnement correct du
système une fois par an.

werden. Bitte beachten Sie dazu die Hinweise in der Montage- und Bedienungs-
anleitung VX IT.
When dismantling existing doors, please refer to the notes given in the VX IT
assembly and operating instructions.
The hinged side can be switched for the aluminium designer door and the sheet steel
door. To do so, follow the procedure described in the VX IT assembly and operating
instructions.
Pour le démontage des portes présentes, veuillez respecter les indications dans la
notice de montage et d’emploi VX IT.
Le sens d’ouverture de la porte peut être modifié pour la porte design en aluminium

CMC-Komponenten zur Ansteuerung des ADO müssen fest installiert sein und dürfen
nicht lose im Rack liegen.
The CMC components to control ADO must be mounted at a fixed position and must not
lie loose in the rack.
Les composants CMC pour la commande de l’ADO doivent être installés de manière fixe
et ne doivent pas être disposés librement dans la baie.
Beim Entfernen der Transportsicherung (Kabelbinder) önen sich
die Klappen. Der direkte Önungsbereich der Klappen ist
freizuhalten.
When the shipping tie is removed, the flaps open. The direct area
of the flap opening must be kept clear.
Les volets s’ouvrent en enlevant le blocage de transport (collier

◾ Schranktür önen (max. 60°).
Achtung: Der Önungsbereich der Klappen
muss frei sein.
◾ C-Taste des Door Control Moduls 5 x
innerhalb von 2 Sekunden drücken, um die
Magnete stromlos zu schalten.
◾ Prüfen, ob sich alle Klappen geönet haben.
◾ Die Magnete werden, abhängig von der
Konfiguration, spätestens nach 2 Minuten
wieder automatisch aktiviert (Status-LED
des Door Control Moduls hört auf, rot zu
blinken). Die Klappen können jetzt geschlos-
sen werden (siehe Kapitel 5).
◾ Open the enclosure door (max. 60°).
Caution: The flap opening area must be
clear.
◾ Press the C key on the door control module
5 times within 2 seconds in order to discon-
nect the power supply to the magnets.
◾ Check whether all the flaps have opened.
◾ Depending on the configuration, the mag-
nets are reactivated automatically at the
latest after 2 minutes (status LED of the door
control module no longer flashes red). The
flaps can now be closed (see chapter 5).
◾ Ouvrir la porte de l’armoire (max. 60°).
